Bee Mountain Resort

This campground is a Texas hidden gem. I am so thankful that the owner, Tony has opened his place up to paddlers, RV & tent campers. The host, Melanie and staff were very friendly and helpful. Firewood was delivered to our site before our arrival. Every campsite is waterfront. This place is peaceful and well maintained. If you're not in an RV, you will want to camp down by the section that has the bathrooms. I can't wait to go back.

First trip here we were sold and going to try and get on the waiting list to get an annual spot. Owner and staff super nice and place is well maintained. The weekend were there was really slow but I get the feel it's a family place. Good river access from most spots. Boat ramp also available on site. 5 - 10 minute boat ride from Hamm Creek Park so you could have people there and shuttle between the two. Highly recommend. Locked gate access and you must call if your not an annual user to see the property. On site RV and boat storage if you are a annual user and want to store your equipment there.

Adding to my first review. We went back for Memorial Day weekend to tent camp this time. First the staff was super nice and helpful again. Can't say enough good things about them. The tent spots were large enough for several tents with plenty of shade. There were clean restrooms provided, no showers. Good amount of firewood delivered to your campsite for 30$. Highly recommend this place.

Great campgrounds, friendly staff, ice was good for the price (20 lbs for $7). Follow the directions of the site and you will have a wonderful time. First time here and we will definitely be back! Each sit le does have a little BBQ grill a fire pit and some have tables. Restroom facilities are a trailer in a central location for campsites. No showers. Fishing at campsite #5 was unsuccessful but with the great time we had, it wasn't a big deal

The website or photos online just can't do this place justice.
It's a beautiful ranch with impeccable, large, clean campsites, right on the stunning Brazos River. Large trees, great fire pits and clean bathroom trailers. But, that is all dwarfed by the people running the ranch. I've camped all over the country and rarely find host this hospitable, nice and that make you feel this welcome.

Perfect camping experience along the River. Tony and his wife went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience...even getting our campfire started for us. Firewood is provided for a small fee and brought to your campsite. Enjoyed the kayaks we rented for a day. Thanks so much for treating us like family! We’ll be back!

Really nice ranch to camp on. Owner/Staff were really helpful. Ice, firewood, water and kayak rentals available on site. Most definitely will be back!

This place is amazing. Peaceful, great view; Melanie and Tony are very kind people. We are grateful for the river, squirrels, deers, good cooking areas, lots of playing space for kids.
The toilets are clean and well kept, there is good drinking water refills; ice, wood for purchase available and pet friendly.
Although we were camping it felt like a home away from home. May God reward you!

Bee Moutain is a gem and so happy to have came across it. We first got a weekend campsite for my husband birthday. We automatically loved it and Tony and his crew. What Tony is doing here and wants it to continue to be is something we would of never found in AZ. Tony has been very accommodating to our family and everyone we have meet was amazing. We landed up getting on the waiting list and we have a permanent spot for the year! Making memories already. And looking forward to many more.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend and loved our time there. Kim and Glynn greated us when we arrived and were very friendly and welcoming to us and showed us to our campsite. The whole property is beautiful. I actually enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying the views of the mountain. The Johnson county burn ban didn’t affect us at all, we’re easy going and being away from our routine was really a gift, especially in a peaceful environment like this. Tony and the staff really made us feel welcome while we were there and I felt like we had made some friends by the time we left. Thank you so much for having us. You have a beautiful property. We will be back!

Meet some friends here who lease some space. The staff was friendly and enjoyed the view and being right on the banks of the beautiful Brazos River. Well worth the drive.

hesitant to leave a review because I don't want word to get out about this beautiful, hidden gem. this property is a piece of heaven right here on earth. Tony and his staff are top notch people, you just don't find customer service like this anywhere these days. Very friendly and accommodating with necessities at your fingertips. the property is stunningly beautiful and so clean and well maintained. They also rent kayaks and paddleboards for a very reasonable price! If you need a break from the city, go. you will never regret it!

One of the better camping resorts in the area. Each site is unique and the scenery is beautiful. The sites are well sized and you don't feel packed in like a state park. I will definitely be coming back. It was the relaxing back to nature weekend I needed

Beautiful and unique property right on shoreline of a beautiful stretch of the Brazos River. Great hosts and relaxing atmosphere. It's a great place to slow down and see the bright stars in night sky, enjoy the scenery, and have a great time away from the bustle of daily life.
