Tosche Station Echo Base

My husband and I have been here 3 times in the last month. They have a wide variety of items from Manga to comics to collectables. We've bought a few nostalgic collectables from them and absolutely love yhe quality. We even bought a working 1985 NES and Gameboy Pocket, both of which work. They do sell games for a variety of old and newer game consoles.
The employees show a genuine passion and joy for the store. In fact, when I was reminiscing about the Gargoyles cartoon from the 90's with my husband one of the employees overhead me. He then played the opening to it on the store speaker system! When talking about the collectables available they are very enthusiastic about its history. When asking to see an item or items from one of the locked display cases, they are very patient and let you look as long as you need without any pressure.
My new favorite go-to for comics and collectables.

I've been here several times in the past couple months and really enjoy each time. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy being there, are really knowledgeable and always very friendly and happy to answer questions. They have a wide variety of items including really cool vintage Star Wars action figures (I have a couple on display now at my house!). Highly recommend stopping by!

Pretty solid selection of vintage toys and collectibles, video games, and comics! The staff is super friendly and conversational. If i were to complain, it would be the lack of comic storage implements for purchase.

Tosche Station Echo Base is a hidden gem and treasure trove for anyone into comics and retro gaming. Alex and the other staff are super friendly and really know their stuff. They make you feel welcome the moment you step in and the prices are very fair and competetive.

We snagged a Nintendo 64 and a PlayStation 4, both in great shape and tested.

Can't wait to go back and see what other awesome items we can find.

I was in the area visiting family and wanted to go to a comic shoppe/toy store so after googling I found Tosche Station and was intrigued! We walked in and were immediately greeted and told about the custom game consoles right by the door thY just arrived. Then we walked around and this is why I could spend HOURS in shops like this because there was so much to see! I ultimately didn't buy anything because I could decide and probably would spend an entire paycheck in one blow but I'll be back! I love the free-to-play arcade games and reminisced about playing the Simpsons one in arcades growing up. Amazing place!

This is a really fun store. The front is retro gaming, trading card games, custom gaming consoles, and toys etc, while the back is a comic store with some arcade cabinets that are free to play and some more toys etc. The prices are definitely reasonable and there are some real gems in there. The absolute gem is the staff, though. I haven't felt so welcome in a retail store in recent memory. Even better is how they treated my 11 year old son. So many establishments treat kids as an annoyance. This was the antithesis of that. They were so kind and friendly to my son that it gave me palpable joy to watch them interact. What a great place. If you have any interest at all then please don't hesitate to become a patron of this establishment. They are fantastic. 5 stars, no question.

In my years since I moved to the U.S I have moved 14 times looking for better opportunities. I have lived in many cities and visited many comic and collector shops. Few have a space in my heart like this place does.

They are extremely professional and caring for the products they display on the store, also, they let you hold and grab anything you see on display, if it’s there you can hold it.

They understand, that touch and smell are a big part of the experience for a collector.

To give you an example, they had this old He-Man toy that was my first He-Man action figure, moss man… Everyone disliked how moss man smelled except me. To me, moss man meant good moments, my childhood home, my family when we were still together 30 years ago. Being able to grab this toy and touch it and smell it and bring back those memories, share with my kid that experience. Priceless. I bought it on the spot.

They have a workshop at the back fixing old toys, consoles and more.

They also are knowledgeable, will give you recommendations, try to find an item for you if you need to complete your collection. Found me a black series Mandalorian with Grogu, extremely rare.

They are fans, that work for fans. Their stores: “Echo Base” and Tosche Station “original” are wonderful places to go and share with your kid the past and the present.

Echo base is their new store, closer to my home… Before I had to drive 45 min, now only 15.

Needless to say, I will be going back. If you haven’t been there. Please go. You will not regret it!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and broad product inventory. Comics, collectibles, vintage video games. Worth a visit just to see items like the Deep Space 9 model. Wicked cool.

If you are a child of the 80s, a fan of toys, a fan of retro gaming, stop what you are doing right now and visit this store! Retro games and systems, comics, a mini-arcade, action figures, and much more. Prices are also on most items. This place is incredible and you should see it to believe it.

So happy we stopped in. I'm horrible with names but I think his name was Navid. He made our first trip very personable. We are from out of town and my son already wants to go back because of the customer service and the amazing selection. Keep up the great work!!!

This is literally my favorite comic book store! I love the vintage sealed wax cards, the manga selection, vintage comics. Looking at the amount of collectibles both new and old and the graded comics is a spectacle. They have big FCBD events and I bought prints on that day. Literally, the best comic store ever.

Expands upon the Tosche’s Station’s first location with a nice array of video games, custom consoles and an larger selection of Transformers. With more to come in the expanding back area.

This is a really cool hole in the wall experience. They are stocked up with items for just about every fandom out there and they have some fun retro games for kids to play on or you to play on while others are browsing.

This is a great spot! Good selection of new and newer figures, plus some loose and boxed older items across many franchises. Shopkeeper was enthusiastic, easy to talk to, passionate. The store was clean, well-laid out, and prices were fair.

Love this place. They always take care of me and never let me miss a single Issue. Staff is always friendly and attentive; Mushroom and Naveen are the absolute best, I love them but my wallet kinda hates them 🤣.

10/10, glad to have a local comic book store again, and an awesome one to boot.

Last week I had one of the best customer service interactions I’ve had in awhile. Scott, an employee at this location made me and my entire family feel welcomed. It was evident that he enjoys his job and he’s very easy going and was wonderful at ensuring that my needs were met. His humor along with his professionalism made our shopping experience great and will definitely be returning. This location has every from Marvel to Star Wars and recommended this store to any one who likes collectibles or wants to re live their childhood by waking through a store with original toys.

We went here looking for pop culture collectibles and we definitely found them! They have a huge selection of comics and quite a few cards and you wouldn't believe the amazing retro collectibles. Everyone who worked there on the day we went was really nice and quite funny actually. I'm sure I'll have to take my other kids soon!

Best comic and nostalgia store! Even beats out all the options in NYC. 10/10 worth a visit, and we will be sure to stop by anytime we visit NOVA.
