All I can say is this place ROCKS. Customer service is above and beyond GREAT!!! I asked for the perfect rod and reel combo to fish Lake Murray Dam North Recreation Pier. Not only did I get a great combo. They also put my line on and set up a Carolina rig as well. I left the store and caught a 25inch Stripper on the rod and reel he recommended...WOW

Been buying bait here for nearly 25 years. Has everything you could possibly need on hand. Prices are very reasonable. Richard also has the best and latest fishing information. I always enjoy my visits here.

Stopped at this little place in Lake Murray for some fishing supplies. They had everything you could possibly need to fish,live bait,poles. The staff was very nice and answered a lot of my questions very knowledgeable.

The salon is in a very pleasant location. Susan was great. She did just what I asked and I was so pleased. She has years of experience and has kept up with the latest and greatest. She was very pleasant and personable. Her rate was very reasonable. I highly recommend her and the salon in general.

Getting prepared for my daughter’s famed maid Fishing party! It’s been a while since I’ve been fishing, but the staff here at Lake World were great. Gage was prompt, asked good questions and provided me with what I needed! All with a good price.

Very informative, answered all my questions. Everyone there knows whats up. Took like 10 minutes to get my fishing license, mostly bc I was looking at other stuff lol. They got everything you need and all the info you need for local fishing. Will be back again and again. Fresh bait great lures. It may not look fancy outside. But filled to the gills on the inside with anything you may need for your fishing needs. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent shop. Knowledgeable employees willing to help with equipment, tackle,bait, or good fishing information. Bait is "guaranteed to catch fish or die trying!" Would give seven stars if I could, they are that friendly and go that far to make fishing trip more productive. They also offer a guide service which I will try when we have visitors come down!

Ignore Tim’s review. He clearly doesn’t value customer service and the mom and pop support Richard provides. Sure you can save money by going to Walmart and Amazon, but they offer no help. Sad you would give such a great bait shop a 1 star review Tim! You should reconsider and rethink your position.

If you are new to the area and trying to fish on lake Murray this is the bait shop for you. Easton was awesome!! He will set you up with bait, tackle, rods,reels and is extremely knowledgeable about what’s biting where and at what time of year.

A very down to earth place to stop by and purchase your fishing supplies, walked in great with that good southern hospitality, need to say I felt color is not a issue being there, guys were very friendly, hell we laughed, for the time I left, just putting this out there don't judge a person by the color of their skin, thank you guys, will be back, tell the young man, hello he should remember me, the one kept excusing himself

Its a great place reminds me of an old town tackle shop they have one of everything. when i was a kid I mowed yards an bought my very first Bait caster there it was not the best one there but I loved that rod an reel i caught a lot of stripers out of the river below the lake. I've moved away but everytime I come to visit i stop in an buy something then go eat at Rushes, or Lizards thicket.

The best place anywhere in the greater Columbia area for information and supplies for fishing and hunting in SC. Richard and Donna are the kind of people you just make your self go back to see. If they don't have it... you don't need it for fishing fresh water or hunting in SC. By the way their prices are below most of the big box stores and their knowledge is as good as it gets.

I visit the gang at Lake World no matter if going fishing , boating , or out hunting tackle. I always buy my snacks & drinks , and baits from Lake World . I been shopping there since 1979. A great group of folks there with knowledge of the lake. Next time your there tell them Capt. Charles with HighMoon Fishing Adventures sent you .

Great local shop. I always love stoping by with the kid on the way to the lake. They are always nice to the family and very well informed. I will always support my local bait and tackle shops.

You need to talk to Richard for all your fishing or knowledge needs! This guy is by far amazing! He will not disappoint! He always has what you need and the knowledge of how to use it. Call my my Richard!

Lake world has a knowledgeable very knowledgeable staff and very friendly people they have ample supplies and fishing equipment and snacks and you can get anything you want there for fishing if you need a guide you need information it's just one great place probably the best one in South Carolina

Best bait shop in the area. Richard is a super nice guy and funny too. You won't be disappointed getting your bait and tackle here.
