Eno River Farm is a really relaxing afternoon. They have a small but well stocked nursery, ice cream and drinks bar, locally sourced items for sale, and usually a few different things to pick, today for example they had blackberries and flowers (sunflowers and another type). Earlier this year they had raspberries and tulips. They have a lot of shaded seating, including seating for large groups. They don't allow pets on site. It would be a beautiful place for a picnic. Hopefully they also start doing events in the future, like concerts. It's a beautiful spot.

My friend and I took a day trip to Hillsborough and had a wonderful treat at Eno River Farm! We came for the plants, but stayed for the homemade ice cream and view from sitting in rocking chairs in the back of the barn. Inside you can get plants, fresh veggies, and other agriculture goods. There is a selection of plants to pick from and also great outdoor seating areas to enjoy some ice cream. If you walk into the woods, you'll find a cabin with some mythical guests — which is another fun part of the farm. Overall, this is a great spot to take a break and just enjoy a little treat or enjoy the farm life.

This farm was awesome! Probably one of my favorites I've been to. The way it is decorated / laid out is really cozy and friendly to guests.

I came for blackberry picking which was $12 for a basket/$20 for a bucket (I chose the basket). The price seemed reasonable to me because the basket held a lot of blackberries. The area to pick was covered which was perfect since it was >100° the day we went. The blackberries were generally pretty sweet if you knew which ones to pick (fully black, easy to pull off)

I also tried the ice cream because of all the great reviews, but I think it was a tad overhyped 😅 the ice cream was good and a good price, but I don't think I'd come back just for it.

That being said, I'm excited to come back here next year for strawberry season!

Here during the strawberry season, and it's a really fun experience picking your own strawberries. 4.57 pounds of them came to about $18. A great place for the young and old! Try the ice cream!

I love spending Sunday mornings here and having pumpkin spice chai while sitting amongst the plants or on the patio.

Beautiful place to visit with the family. Super clean, lots of plants, flowers, and products at very affordable prices. I'm looking to visit again soon. The ice cream is delicious, and there are many flavors to try.

We had amazing homemade ice cream, browsed well priced plants, and there was plenty of room for kids to run. Nice and clean. We didn't go strawberry picking - I would suggest calling to see if strawberry picking is available the day you intend to go because things change daily.

New place for me to make an ice cream run. Got some strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone. Very good. Looked like a fun place to visit. Although I must have got there right after the letting out of school crowd as I had to wait in line a while. Definitely recommend.

A great day out. We headed out to just pick up blueberries and strawberries but headed to the fields instead to pick your own. Beautiful day and the fruit of our labor was delicious.

My kids loved getting ice cream here and picking strawberries on our impromptu evening outing. It was our first time here and we will definitely be going back!

Wow what a beautiful place. Picnic, berry picking, and ice cream!! The grounds are wonderful and it’s easy to find a spot to sit and enjoy yourself. My only complaint is the line for ice cream gets long and moves slow, not the best combination but it’s worth the wait.

Great place to stop by grab some plants, flowers, ice cream, and a cup of coffee. Great idea to combine all this in one place. Ice cream is really really good -- not super sugary!

Great farm to spend weekend with family, picking up strawberries 🍓, enjoying nice view. Don’t forget to grab picnic 🧺 blanket, indulging in homemade ice cream & lemonade.
Definitely highly recommended.

Fantastic weekend getaway. You can pick your own strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries here. The staff is super friendly and the ice cream they serve here in homemade cones is out if this world.

We had a wonderful time here picking blueberries and blackberries with our 1 and 3 yr olds! To our surprise the ice cream was delicious! I had the blueberry cheesecake 😋 (should have gotten 2 scoops instead of one). We got a huge squash and zucchini for the price of $1.50, I was shocked. You can’t beat that price and supporting local is a huge win! 💯% coming back here from now on for our produce! Love this place!

Amazing ice cream, quiet and peaceful place and lots of fall photo props. My little kids, my husband and I enjoyed the farm. There’re no hay rides, no activities really other than shopping for a pumpkin, mums and other goodies, and enjoying the ice cream. We tried cookies and cream, coconut and butter pecan and were blown away by the creamy texture and quality flavor. It was well worth the drive.

Now, this place is a treat! As if the homemade ice cream wasn't enough, they have freshly baked goods, honey, produce and all sorts of flowers, herbs, and tomatoes to plant! And I heard that we just missed tulip cutting season. And I can see that the strawberries 🍓 are almost ready to pick. If you are on St Mary's Road, or in Hillsboro, Bahama, Rougemont, Durham or Chapel Hill, you are missing out on a beautiful respite if you do not visit soon!

I went today and it was so fun. Strawberries looked beautiful. Super yummy. They have a small roadside farm market which is nice as well. All the employees were nice. They have homemade ice cream which was also super delicious. They make homemade waffle cones as well. Strawberry picking didn’t take that long. Fun place.
