Sam Flax

Came in for a carton of Blackwing 602 Pencils. Of course, Sam Flax had them.
I walked around the store in amazement at all of the art supplies and other office supply items.
This place is amazing. I have an addiction to office supplies. I'm the type of guy that will get a great notebook and never use it because... well, it's a great notebook. So believe me when I say that the Blackwing pencils are incredible and so is Sam Flax.

BRAVO.

I have been shopping here for about 20 years, through three locations, and it is always a wonderful experience. I always spend way too much even though their prices are great, because I can’t stop seeing things I want. Great selection of quality items. A+++

I have recently discovered this store and can’t get enough! They have wonderful prices, sales all the time, and a 20% student discount! I learned today that they’re dog friendly, too! Small business, friendly customer service, huge selection for all budgets. Seriously, I’m going to spend all my money here.

Staff are incredibly nice. The store has a large variety of supplies all at pretty reasonable prices.

The service is always friendly and there are so many options to choose from. It has the best selection of Ampersand Art Panels that I can find. I love doing mixed media work on these panels and it is nice to have options.

Lovely arts supply store with a great selection. They're one of the few (maybe only) stores in the area that carry fountain pens and inks.

This craft store is a creative haven with a wide array of supplies and inspiring DIY kits. The staff is friendly, though more expertise would be appreciated. Prices are fair, and while some items were out of stock, the overall experience was positive. Perfect for craft enthusiasts!

Beautiful and full of all I need and want. The staff is super kind and I find wonder every time I go.

Me and my son went the night before grand opening and the day of. Both days the staff (multiple individuals) were very attentive, helpful, and patient with my son and I. I got some advice on acrylics and calligraphy and got plenty of other supplies. We had a great experience and will definitely be using Sam Flax for most of our art needs!

Great facility and great Arts center with a great staff, well done. They have books as well, resources and tools for construction, although most do it yourself construction,

I was coming from work, so I got there approx. 15min to close. Everyone was super helpful and knowledgeable. I received really great recommendations from Brooke on some pearl powders (and paint options) for my specific needs. This was my first time in, and I am excited to return. Thank you all!

Very large supply of painting and drawing tools some basic sculpting kinda wish they had more but the clearance rooms are really cool idea with the grab bag set prices.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Better than Blick for sure. Nicer staff, a larger selection, and just an all-around nice art store. Its layout is awesome as well. It has separate rooms and it almost feels like you're shopping in a big house! a quirky and welcomed touch =) especially for a creative space. I like colored pencils and they have a wonderful selection of open stock, which is important to me. If they don't have something they can order it, and they are more than happy to put your information and product(s)and give you a call when it arrives! I live about an hour away and it's totally worth the drive. Free parking (unlike Blick), and plenty of space. Most definitely you need to give this place a try. Prices? Well you know the industry. Its tight margins (thank you Amazon). So you arent going to get EPIC deals or anything like that, but you will have plenty to look at, and likely you will enjoy the process.
