Redwood Builders is by far the best home builder in central Iowa. Not only for the quality of homes but also for the personal touch they add to the building process. Having Adam involved from beginning to end was so amazing and made us feel so comfortable with the decisions we made. We had some specific needs we wanted and he worked very hard to find us a new custom plan that suited our wants and our lot. Along with this, he and his team have amazing expertise that helped us make decisions and design our dream home. The quality and craftsmanship within our home are unprecedented. We have had many comments in this short time on how well it was built and how many little things we have that they wouldn't have thought about. On top of all that, they can build and add almost any custom touches, see our bookshelf below, and these touches truly make the house feel like a home.

My husband and I got a chance to build a custom home with Redwood Builders and had nothing but a great experience. We took our time and looked at a couple houses they did before making the decision and we are so glad we chose to go with them. The staff is beyond wonderful, from Adam (the owner) to explaining everything in detail and Emma Stern with Ankeny Real Estate Group who helped with everything from selections to answering all my questions and annoying texts. The real wood trim is something not all home builders do which we loved. Every step of the process was enjoyable and we even got to see the owner do actual work on the house which is not something you see very often. Most importantly the home turned out even better than we imagined it could. Every single thing in the house is exactly what we wanted and they really made our vision come to life. If you are thinking about building home, do yourself a favor and choose Redwood Builders. We will definitely be using them for a basement finish in the future!

We decided to build with redwood homes after looking at a few spec homes and noticing the quality and attention to detail right away. Their standard features alone are impressive (9ft ceilings on each floor makes a world of difference!) but really every house we saw of Adam’s impressed us. We ended up falling in love with the perfect floor plan for us and worked with Adam to tweak it to fit our needs -which was such a seamless process! During the build, Adam was on site daily checking on the progress and was super hands on. If we ever had a question he was very responsive and if there was ever an issue Adam had already noticed and was on top of getting it fixed. We truly felt like we were his only clients. We weren’t just blown away by Adam, but also every single one of his crews he had out at the house, as well. They all showed great attention to detail and strived for a quality built home and were also the hardest workers. They don’t just throw up things carelessly. We were constantly impressed by all of the crews! Even after closing on our home we cannot get over how our experience just continues to get better. Redwood offers multiple walkthroughs during your first year to fix any issues that may pop up and Adam is always there with any questions, as well. When you build with redwood you really are in the best hands possible with Adam and his crews. We are so beyond happy with our new home thanks to him! I cannot recommend Redwood enough.

I absolutely ❤❤❤❤ my house!! It is gorgeous and not a typical spec home, from the soft close cabinets, fixtures, dual shower heads in the master, and the overall customer service experienced. I HIGHLY recommend Redwood Builders! 😊😊
