Beary Smokey Smokehouse

Went in for lunch, and I was surprised we were the only ones there. I had the loaded nachos, and they were out of this world. I chose to go with the brisket. The meat was so flavorful. Honestly, I've never even liked brisket till yesterday. We also ordered a BBQ sandwich along with a hot dog kids meal and a grilled cheese kids meal. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. I can't wait to go back and try the quesadilla. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We had 2 kids with us, and they took them upstairs and showed them around. Our server, Glenda, I think, was extremely helpful and courteous. This place is unlike anything else Kinston has to offer. I highly recommend Beary Smokey Smokehouse.

Very clean, food was excellent & fresh.
Staff was friendly & it was nice to see the man Fernando otw out. Collar balls & mash were amazing, brisket was flaking apart & so tender.
Can’t wait to go back & try the rest of the menu.

Delicious! We sampled everything! The ribs brisket and chicken were falling off the bone tender and scrumptious. As sides go get the Mac and cheese and cowboy beans! Amazing! Owner is there and makes sure you are taken care of. We really enjoyed the dining experience.

We picked up some meals tonight, and everything we ordered was delicious. The brisket was nice and smokey and my husband loved the ribs. The staff was extremely friendly, and although we didn't eat inside the restaurant, the interior was cozy and welcoming. We'll definitely try this place again! Very tasty food!

Very good local BBQ spot. Perfect if you are passing through as they keep good hours. Sometimes it looks closed when it is actually open, so check the door before you write it off.

Delicious food! We ordered the sampler, which was 3 meats with 2 sides and then we ordered 2 more sides so my fiancé and I could share the sampler. There was so much food... we chose brisket, chicken, and ribs. And we had the collard balls appetizer.... you have to try them! Along with the deliciousness was a friendly atmosphere and Fernando is just the best! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had Sunday dinner at Beary Smokey today. This was our first time dining here. I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had some of the best brisket I have eaten in a restaurant. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the chopped BBQ. We will return.

Food was fabulous!!! The meats had a wonderful smokey flavor... The cowboy beans were the best!!! The service was top notch. Will definitely be eating here again!

The brisket here is top shelf! The pork barbecue is also delicious.😋I don't know about all the sides, however the pepper jack mac and cheese and sweet potato souffle compliment very nicely.🔥ps the cornbread and banana 🍌 pudding are next level! This place is about smokey flavor infused with the meat! It's not just your average bbq,it's in a league of it's own! I highly recommend and it's safe to say that this place is here to stay!!💯

Food was DELICIOUS. We are so happy we stopped in. We came back to town to visit family and the bbq did not disappoint! Friendly service and great food. Highly recommend!

Great customer service and good food! The collard greens were tasty and the baked chicken was juicy. Oh yeah the lemonde was on point. I rate this place 5 stars.

Best pork BBQ in the county. So good he doesn't have to drown it in sauce.

My boyfriend,our friend and myself went in this afternoon...We all 3 had the brisket, green beans and cabbage..It was very fresh and perfectly prepared..We left miserably stuffed ...Needing a nap..
I live in Georgia and come up to see my bf often..This place was one of those wanting something different. We were so glad that we found Bearys . We all agreed that we will definately be back..And soon..
Our friend just moved to Kinston..We look forward to seeing yalll again..

Very clean restaurant. My takeout food was well cooked and seasoned just right. Great potato salad!!! Staff were professional and neatly dressed. I will be back to dine in soon!!!

Great find. Met up with friends that we haven't seen in awhile. Empty plates all-around. Ribs were tasty!
