Can’t say enough about this place versus the chains we ate at around here. The people were great, food was awesome, and the atmosphere made us feel at home. The Sloppy Jethro and Hatfield Chicken sandwich hit the spot along with the beer battered fries, green beans, and baked beans. Y’all forget the main drag and go find this place, Brad will set you up right!

My husband and I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were great. We also both got different forms of their brisket and it was delicious. One of our favorite things was the prices were not bad at all compared to the rest of the area. If you are wanting something super laid back and also SMALL BUSINESS you are in the right place.

1st time visit for me. Got the corn fritters, pull pork Quesadilla and loaded mash potato salad. All the food was great except the potato salad. It had a strange taste to me when I tried it and I did not like it.
Anita was our server and she was great.
It was a cold and rainy day and the had the outside open which was necessary for the live music but it was cold. I would suggest getting some heaters for days like that.

The Hot Buffalo wings and the kickin chicken wrap were exceptional. The reaper sauce was super flavorful and just the right amount of heat. I like the small family feel to the place as it's different from all of the chains on the strip. Not the biggest of interior but the outside is massive. Would definitely come back. Food and service were top notch.

One of our favorite restaurants in Gatlinburg!! The food is amazing and the staff is always so friendly. This is a must do on our list any time we're in the area. My favorite is the Phatty Melt and the Hillbilly Philly. Highly recommend trying this this place if you're in Gatlinburg

My husband and I have eaten here several times. It is tucked away in a little back alley, thus the name, and sometimes have live entertainment. Seating is limited inside and outside.
The burgers are great. Amber, our server, was very nice. We have always had a good experience and will definitely return.

Went for a quick lunch while walking around the area and was very happy we stopped at this place. We had dogs with us so we had to sit outside which it took close to 30 minutes to get a table outside but that’s because there was already a party at the table that would accommodate us so we didn’t mind waiting since it was one of the better restaurants in the area that are dog friendly. After our table was ready one staff member came out with 2 dog bowls filled with water which I thought was awesome they did that! Soon our server came to the table getting us drinks and appetizer orders(we got the fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms) which everyone fought over the last one. Soon after she got our food orders and while waiting for the food we got to sit and enjoy the nice day outside. Once our food came we were all so excited everything looked amazing! Im a big pulled pork person and this pulled pork was really good…it had a little kick in the barbecue sauce but I liked it. One of my friends got the chicken tenders with the beer battered fries and had no regrets, they said those chicken tenders were so good and the fries(I stole a couple) and they were really good too! The service was good and quick, the food was good and filling and overall a good place to stop if you’re in the area.

On a cross country trip, hitting numerous restaurants, this was agreed to be the best restaurant by all members of the family. The Hatfield chicken sandwich was incredible, with good jalapenos, not the kind you usually find at a restaurant. The chicken, across the board was perfectly grilled/fried. The fries were perfectly crispy.

Food was really good!
The corn fritters were very tasty and the BLT sandwiches with the fried green tomato were excellent! The drinks were amazing… definitely recommend the Smokey Mountain!
Heather gave great service and everyone was friendly to us. Only ding was that the lighting seemed bright and harsh.
Will definitely be back!

This little hideaway is FABULOUS! Outdoor cafe, indoor bar, killer menu! BLT, burgers, there’s a BOLOGNA sandwich with bacon 🥓! The sides are WOW! Appetizers are WOW! My food was ready in just a few minutes. My server, Heather F was super. She was very conscious of all her tables needs. She is obviously a long Tom server 😄 I guess I’ve said all I need to say. It’s a fabulous place. Go there!

A great find off the main drag. We chose it to avoid the crowds and had a wonderful meal after a long hike. Fried green tomatoes and cream corn fritters were delicious. Bonus was listening to live music by Denver Evans. Happy to have the local experience while on our cross country road trip. Service was friendly with southern hospitality aplenty.

Got the Sloppy Jethro! Delicious. I wasn't real crazy about the battered fries, but my son liked them. He had the Dying Man sandwich and ate it all, so I'm assuming it was good too. The staff was really nice and friendly. The day was very rainy and messy, it was a nice dry warm place to get out of the weather.
