Hey, next time you're in Gulf Shores, swing by Matt's Homemade Ice Cream. They've got a wild selection of flavors and tons of ways to enjoy it - floats, splits, shakes, you name it. I promise you'll be back for seconds.

I've already reviewed so the other location, so I figured I'd review for this one as well. I enjoyed my ice cream from here as much as the one on the boardwalk. I got a scoop of moose tracks and a scoop of something they call "Stellar Coffee", which is coffee ice cream with some chocolate chunks, and both were great. I went back and got a scoop of peach ice cream, and it was good as well. All of my ice cream was great and will definitely be back!

This is always a "must visit" for our family! The kids love the candy by the pound wall (this trip it is $4.50 for 1/4 pound), and we love the ice cream!

Even on a rainy cold day Matt’s Homemade Ice Cream is always a welcome treat! Always friendly and yummy flavors to choose from.

The two guys working were so friendly and helpful! The offered suggestions as well as samples and shared some sherbet/sorbet fun facts. We ended up with a scoop of Key Lime Pie, which was honestly some of the best ice cream I've ever had!

The prices seemed a little high, and I'm not sure how they compare to others in the area. However, for the quality service and delicious ice cream, I really can't complain much about it!

Wonderful ice cream!! There was only one guy working. A group of 15 came in after us, and he handled it like a pro!!

Great place to stop and get some ice cream, they had a ton of options and candy to purchase as well. The price was definitely reasonable with other ice cream places around and the staff was excellent. Plus it was very cleanly also.

This place is really busy but has fantastic customer service, which makes the wait worth it. The ice cream is pretty good too. Definitely a must see place if you want family friendly ice cream!

Delicious ice cream and friendly service! There was a great variety of flavors, as well as a good selection of bulk candies.

I think this place would be hard to beat for ice cream in Gulf Shores. They have a large selection of interesting flavors; I had the butterfinger & it was great. Prices are avg for this area...$4 + per cone. There's a big crowd but with several people behind the counter it moves fast.

HIGHLY suggest this place!! We had five different flavors between the five of us and they were all amazing. Recommend the blueberry cheesecake and cookie butter as our favorites! Thank you Matt’s Homemade Ice Cream staff for making our visit a great one!

A wonderful local ice cream shop with amazing treats and wonderful artwork from local kids

One of my favorite places the stop on the way back from the beach. The kids always ask to stop. We love the candy variety too. They have a lot of the harder to find candies. It's like a flashback to my childhood. Definitely recommend!
