Gulf Shores Public Beach

This is one of the cleanest, well taken care of beaches I've seen. The sand is like powder. Sidewalks and grassy areas. Plenty of restrooms, benches to sit on and shaded areas. Showers to get the sand off. Lots of room for everyone. A hidden treasure.

Very nice place to visit the beach. The restrooms were clean easy to get to. Has a rope climbing spot for the kids which was awesome. Safe area with plenty of friendly pleasant people.

Yes, of course it was windy and cold. Beautiful weather, the beach is gorgeous white. The water is mesmerizing. No people, traffic, or trash. I enjoyed myself tremendously.

Gulf Shores public beach is beautiful. It has a few paying parking lots close to the beach, with a pretty little park, plenty of bathrooms, and a long promenade with benches scattered around. It also has restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance.
Love to walk it during all seasons, except during the summer as is very crowded.
It's not a pet friendly beach, but the park and promenade are.

I absolutely love being at a beach and it not beimg over crowded with people! The white sand and cool water made my Christmas so special and I am forever grateful for this time. @8robinsonstv needed the time away and Gulf Shores Beach delivered

Great place to stop by and walk around the boardwalk! It was really organized and the beach is well maintained! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Gulf Shores area!

Wife spent a few hours on the beach this morning. I didn’t stay long. It is near 100 degrees today. Nice white beach and parking nearby for $5 for four hours. Reasonable to visit.

The beach is always a safe beautiful place to spend time. I live here and I feel so blessed.

Truly a blessing to live in such a beautiful place. Everyone should go to Gulf shores beaches especially when I'm able to enjoy the scenery as well as make a bit of money I'm the process!!!

Beautiful site for a picnic on the beach, family outing, and afternoon nap. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. Paid parking available.

Beautiful beach! Everyone we encountered was friendly. Pretty cool place to spend time, even in November.

Had a fabulous time! There are plenty of activities to do! Beach was not overcrowded, and the restaurants were nice!

This is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. You might have to drive an hour through stormy weather but it is totally worth it

Clean restrooms to change in. Not that crowded on a Monday. Beach was clean not much trash. Plenty of shells to collect.

We went to the beach for the Shrimp Festival. We had not been to the Shrimp Festival for several years. It really has gotten much bigger. Many many booths and food everywhere. We watch Brent Burns performance and was not disappointed. The weather was perfect.

It doesn't matter where you are from especially from the south The beach is always going to be home It's always going to be beautiful. Anytime you can see water it's going to be the best time.

Beautiful beach. November can be pretty cool (chilly at night), but the water temp was still super comfortable and hard to stay out of.

Normally I'm not a public beach guy just because of how crowded I've seen them. However, the public access beach off West Beach Blvd was an exception. I was there on July 4th and it wasn't anymore crowded than the beachs at the luxury condos I've stayed at in the same area. We had a house on the Bay Side and it was super beautiful and convenient. Changed my perspective for sure.

Even on a Sunday, the beach wasn't crowded.
Not so great prices for parking. The machines are placed throughout the parking area
And there's immediate access to restrooms and rinse stations. Plenty of local restaurants and shops for refuel if needed
