Had such a great dinner experience (Thanks Emma!) we went back for brunch. Crab cakes eggs Benedict was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Jaci and Olivia took great care of us. The food and service are top notch. Coffee drinks are great for brunch or after dinner. Our favorite spot in the Gulf Shores area. We will be back!

The Tin Top Oysters and Oysters Margaret were awesome! Loved the vibe of this place! Outdoor fireplaces , strings of lights, music and great food ! There was about a half hour wait but was well worth it 🦪😊

Out of town people found the local hot spot! Not a dress up place but top cuisine with competitive pricing (or better!) Cant beat the oysters. Fish was cooked perfectly - even the baked potato was perfect. Get Jaci as your waitress and you’re all set!! Can’t recommend it enough! About a 20 min drive from Gulf Shores beaches and worth every mile!!

Amazing food and fantastic service. Steven, our waiter, was fabulous. The food was delicious and we had a beautiful day to sit outside.

Found Tin Top on a recommendation. Decided to ride over from Mobile to give it a try. It was well worth the drive. The inside was small with a large outside seating area. It was a cool day so the patio was enclosed with a clear plastic barrier and heated. This is definitely an outdoor seating restaurant. It also had 2 nice outside fireplaces going. I had the seafood platter and my son had blackened shrimp and grits. Both were fantastic. I ordered my platter grilled and it consisted of 3 oysters, 6 shrimp, a crab cake, a fish filet, a hush puppy and 2 sides. Price was $20. Everything was spot on and we will be back.

Went here on a recommendation while in Gulf Shores. It was worth the drive and only waited 20 minutes for a table inside. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly.

Started with a cup of lobster bisque. Very rich and creamy with decent pieces of lobster throughout.
The catch of the day was Snapper, so had it blackened and seafood topped. The seafood top was good, but the blackened was the table favorite!
We also had pan seared tuna, which was good, but my only complaint was that it was too much meat for a tuna steak. I wished it was half the size for a better cook and experience.

We finished up with key lime pie and turtle cheesecake. Both of which were fantastic and was a table tie on which was the favorite.

If you are down in the area and looking for fresh caught seafood, then this is your place. They did have a live band outside that evening but were not obnoxiously loud. We were inside and could not hear them.

The crab cakes were all crab meat and perfectly seasoned. Large portions. Perfectly cooked. The wait staff was fabulous. Friendly, responsive. Great local place for local seafood. Forgot to take a picture of the full plate before I started eating it was so good.

Outstanding!!!! We came here as a recommendation from our Airbnb hostess. It was worth the 20 min drive. We arrived later in the evening and we’re seated immediately. Stephanie was our amazing server. Her recommendations were excellent. We ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms which were scrumptious. I got the shrimp and grits and my husband got the special. Our meals came directly after we finished our appetizer. The shrimp and grits and the special (snow grouper topped with crab, rice and broccolini) were both packed with flavor and made with love. The service was top-notch and the well developed flavors were delightful. Definitely, recommend The Tin Top if you want a meal and experience to remember.

We all ate pretty normal and everything was great. Seafood mushrooms are some of the best from any restaurant down here. Burger is a solid choice. Add bacon and egg! Fries are crispy and fried perfect. Gumbo was a good one. Never had such good lima beans not from home. Fried okra was great. Tuna po boy wasn't bad would just like a little more tuna. Wasabi ranch was flavorful and creamy. The only not perfect things: the bisque was not hot and the aju for the prime rib was basically beef flavored water. Could have been better. We will be back to try even more!

I’ve worked in restaurants for 8 years and have been managing a restaurant for two years. I’m not easily impressed. Joey, our server, gave us an amazing experience. He had extensive menu knowledge and enthusiastically answered our many questions. He offered recommendations for the table, and we were greatly impressed by the quality of the food. The filet and sirloin were delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the lump crab hollandaise “Oscar” style add-on was incredible. The hollandaise was light and citrusy, perfectly complimenting the savory sirloin. The baked cheese on the loaded baked potato was so satisfying and tasty. The Gouda cheese grits were flavorful, light and airy. We had the sautéed crab claws for an appetizer, and they were fantastic. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, the meat was tender and sweet, and did not get lost in the sauce. The buttermilk chess pie was an absolute delight. The perfect combination of savory and sweet, this piece of pie was as equally delicious as it was charming. Tin top gets a 10/10 from me. The kitchen staff and service staff should be proud.

mid afternoon on New Year's Eve we found the best, plumpest, most favorable St Bernard parish purple inside shell oysters this side of Yscloskey at the Tin Top oyster bar in downtown Bon Secour. Knowledgeable, excellent service and attentive management, superb shucker man, large happy and friendly customers and live music in a wonderfully comfortable environment.

The Rockafeller Chicken was awesome. Everyone's food was very good. Our servers Jaycee and Joey were excellent. The service and atmosphere was fantastic. The only downside was beer was $6.50 a bottle. That's a little steep for my liking. We would not hesitate to eat here again.

My wife and I were in Gulf Shores for a few days of r & r & b (beach) and a friend recommended a local favorite called the Tin Top. We gave it a try and were not disappointed. Loved everything about it. We sat outside, even though it was a little warm and humid, but they had plenty of fans going. Steven was our waiter and he took great care of us. We had the Caesar salad, Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, and Seafood Topped Fresh Catch, which was Red Snapper. We split everything and were glad we did. There was plenty and it was all delicious! Tin Top is a little off the beaten path and certainly not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Beach Boulevard, where our condo was located, but it was definitely worth the short 15 minute drive inland. Oh, I should mention the margaritas. They were too sweet for my wife and Steven quickly replaced it with a Corona Extra. I was just ok with my margarita. Unfortunately, it is hard to find an establishment that doesn't use a mix in their margaritas instead of fresh squeezed limes and lemons. However, I rate this restaurant on the food and not the drinks, so CHECK IT OUT!

JACI. She was such a great server while we were there for dinner. I had a party of 6 adults and twin toddlers and Jaci handled us with ease. We never once felt as if we were waiting too long for an item we asked for. She went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I had a great experience. She was able to give us recommendations on dishes and drinks…SHE WAS NOT WRONG. The bread pudding sampler was what we ordered for dessert and she came out with this beautifully decorated plate!!!
Would definitely recommend to friends to go to Tin Top and ask for a Jaci!

Also, the manager was extremely kind and it was a breath of fresh air. He had a cup with Jack Skellington on it and my kids were obsessed.

We will definitely be going back to enjoy the company of the Tin Top crew!

My sisters and I were recommended this place for our girls trip and we loved it!! It is off the beaten path, quiet and perfect for a relaxing dinner after a long day at the beach. Our food was delicious! The cocktails were perfect! Our server was great and I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. I hope to visit again one day soon! Oh, we also had the shortest wait time here for the week - about 15 minutes! (The firecracker shrimp and key lime pie were wonderful!)

A big Mmmm-Mm! I don't usually do long waits at a restaurant, but I was assured that this one was worth it. Unfortunately, we hit the busiest time, 7 pm on Saturday, but as promised, it was worth it. Even when we waited outside on a drizzly, steamy day. So that right there says a lot.
For starters, we shared the crab claws, fried green 🍅 and peel and eat 🍤 between 5 of us. All were excellent, and the fried green tomato was the favorite. The main course selections for us were the tuna steak, pecan encrusted fish, stuffed pork chop, and blackened shrimp. Again, there were no complaints. All was very exceptional. The tuna steak comes with a sauce that has a little kick. The pork chop is topped with a dressing that has apple flavor. The blackened shrimp is pretty spicy. I don't know how many different ways you can say delicious, but this meal deserves every one of them!
Our waitress was very punctual on getting us what we needed and helpful with ordering food and drinks.
Prices are in the $$$ range, understandably for what you are receiving. The location is off the beaten track. Parking was a tiny bit challenging. There isn't any charge for parking. The hostess taking names could have used a big dose of happy juice. She definitely was not interested in making friends. They have (uncovered) outdoor seating, but it wasn't being utilized due to the rain. This most likely factored into our 70-minute wait. I would love to visit on a sunny day. It appears that the sides of the building might open up for open air covered seating. We heard many folks mention Tin Top as being their favorite. I might agree with them.

Sunday Brunch was amazing. We will definitely be back again. The Stuffed Mushrooms app was magnificent. Also ordered the Tin Top Omelet stuffed with crabmeat, shrimp, and crawfish tails and a side of Gouda Cheese Grits. I would definitely recommend it. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Also, all brunch dishes come with a complimentary champagne, mimosa, or poinsettia.
Our server Taylor was AWSOME! He answered all our questions and had great recommendations, and he has the BEST attitude. We will most definitely request him next time. An excellent server makes a difference in your dining experience. THANK YOU TAYLOR!

Jaci and Anna gave phenomenal service! We had a large party and they catered to our needs without missing a beat. The butt tender was the best steak I have ever had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! We will recommend to everyone!
