Bahama Bob's Beach Side Cafe

Wow this place was fantastic! The service (Kim) was very attentive, the food was priced at a point I feel was “expected” and it was absolutely delicious!
We arrived about 4:20 and were seated within 5-10 mins, which was fantastic! As we were leaving there was clearly a much longer wait.
The seafood was really tasty. Our party of 8 all ordered different items and all of the food was really delicious.
We would definitely return again! If you are considering coming here to dine while on vacation don’t hesitate, just come early!!

If you're looking for fresh seafood and a great atmosphere, look no further than Bob's. Despite the hour-long wait time, the food and friendly service were well worth it.

We started off with the local Alabama IPA, which was a refreshing complement to our seafood feast. Our waitress was extremely kind and accommodating, making sure our experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

As for the main course, we ordered 2 lbs of crab and it did not disappoint. The crab was cooked to perfection.

Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at Bob's. The delicious seafood, friendly service, and great atmosphere made for a perfect family outing. If you're in the area and looking for a seafood spot, Bob's is a good option.

You know a restaurant is good if you question whether you want to try another of the 110+ nearby restaurants or come back the next night. And seriously…we questioned that…haven’t actually decided yet. The shrimp appetizer was amazing and the crab legs OH SO FRESH! Even the sides and dessert (specifically salted caramel cheesecake) are worthy of mention. And then to top it all off, we received incredibly welcoming and friendly service from Shannon. I am so glad we came and I’m sure we will be back. Maybe this trip….maybe next!

Amazing food! The wife and I tried the Bahama Bob's Burger, and it did not disappoint. It was so large that between the burger and the fries, I almost couldn't eat it all. The blueberry mixed drink I tried was also very tasty. The server who helped us was top notch and so friendly. If you are in the area, give them a try. You will certainly have a great time!

When I say their Bahama Bob is good, I mean they are the best in town!
Grilled shrimp is awesome and the white fish that was pecan crusted was really good!
Only thing that needs improvement are the
hush puppies!
You will not be disappointed if you try this place!

Ubered in for dinner and what a good choice! The place was packed inside and out and we were told it was an hour and twenty minute wait. Decided to stay and wait, grabbed drinks at the bar and went outside.
The wait turned out to be about 40 minutes but we were talking and cutting up with the crowd so it went by pretty quickly. Everyone was in a great mood! It was st paddy's day and spring break so everything was crowded. All the young people were so friendly and brought so much energy to the evening.
Anyway, we got our table and was pleased that it was on the outside seating area. The menu had so many goodies it was hard to choose. I ordered the combo platter which had crab legs, royal red shrimp, new potatoes and green beans. Yum!! I also ordered a fried crab claw appetizer. Everything was huge portions but I was sorry I had ordered so much. Not really because I ate all the shrimpies and crab and a lot of the fried crab claws. The taters were delicious as were the green beans.
I do have to say I was a bit disappointed with the fried crab claws. I'd seen a photo on a different restaurant's website and they looked fat and delicious!! The ones served here were pretty skinny and not all what I had expected. But they were very tasty, just not as much meat as I expected.
Our server was Chrissy and she couldn't have been better! She was running her tail off taking care of the crowds. I'm sorry to say we run her butt too, asking for more cocktail sauce, more drawn butter and more beer. She was quick as a wink every time and had a great attitude.
I know there's a lot of restaurants to choose from around here but I think we made a great choice! Everything was wonderful. Everything!
One thing to add... we got key lime pie (made in-house) to go and had it for breakfast today with our coffee. It too was perfect.

Excellent little spot near the beach. Parking is horrendous but they move people in and out of the restaurant quickly.

The staff is truly amazing, these guys are knowledgeable and polite, easy going and accurate. Very attentive. A++

The food was good, my crab legs were a little small but I did get full. The jumbo corndog my daughter got was huge and the same for my fiancee's grilled shrimp po-boy.

Prices here are very reasonable amd their drink menu is quite good. I didn't check the restrooms, so I'm unaware of their conditions.

Definitely drop by and check these guys out of you're near them, you won't be disappointed.

We always make an effort to come eat at Bahama Bob's whenever we visit Gulf Shores. If it's on season ,expect about 45 min wait, off season peak hours maybe about 10-20 min . We love the food . Always the best coconut shrimp, scallops and catch of the day. They have these new half twist french fries that are pretty cool and tasty to boot. We somehow always get Shannon as our server and he's top notch . The atmosphere is nice if you can get in the back deck but still good restaurant atmosphere otherwise. 🏖 ☀ 🍤

It was amazing! The Alligator Bites were the best thing I have had in so long! I could have made a meal out of them alone! The sauce they sent was great but the waiter suggested the Jezebel sauce and he was right! I can't wait to go back next time we are in Gulf Shores!

Bahama Bob's was great! The food was delicious. The wait was about 30 minutes but totally worth it. You can always have a drink from the bar while you're waiting. It seems to be a spot that is visited by locals and tourists alike. It is right on the beach! If I visit Gulf Shores again, I will definitely have to come back!

Bahama Bob's has really good food and I would totally recommend if in the area. They have a New Orleans style menu and everything lived up to my expectations.

This place is awesome!! I loved everything. The drinks were tasty and everything was delicious! The fried mushrooms are perfect! Service was fast and friendly. I can't wait to go back!

What a FUN place to enjoy an amazing meal. Well worth the drive over from Dauphin Island. Service was perfection. Food was more than expected, more than we could eat. Absolutely delicious.

We stopped in for dinner on a whim and the food and service were fantastic. Ian, our waiter, was running busy but so great and took very good care of us. We got the Small Scampi Claw appetizer and it was enough for at least 4 people (the photo is after we ate!) and I got the Cold Shrimp Salad. It was absolutely delicious and I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow at the beach! Incredible value! We’ll definitely be back!

My first visit, and was not disappointed. Had the coconut shrimp, with fries, coleslaw, hush puppies. Excellent lunch, with more than enough food for lunch.
Excellent service, great food, and very nice atmosphere to stop for lunch,vor dinner.
Night time Parking, may be a little crowded, however we had lunch, and a number of spaces were available.
Prices were average for the season for the area. My meal of Coconut shrimp, with three sides was around $ 15.00.
The Restrauant was located right off the main street in Gulf Shores, so finding the Restrauant was quite easy. Good location, with views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Soooooo good! You must get the crab tails and alligator bites! To be honest everything was spectacular. Staff were quick and very attentive and friendly 😁.
Adult beverages were very well done and despite a full house, wait was short and service was unbelievably quick and top notch.

All the yes! The food was fantastic and our waiter was wonderful. The coconut shrimp are as good as everyone says. The crab was delicious. This is not a discount establishment, but I thought their prices were reasonable for the quality and deliciousness! If you’re considering this place, just go. Stop looking elsewhere and you won’t be disappointed!

From Missouri and here on vacation. Do yourself a favor and get the Bahama Bob's Burger. So freaking good!! And the fries had great flavor too. Great service. Overall, good experience. I recommend eating here and getting the Bahama Bob's Burger.

Best Crab legs I have ever had and we love crab legs!! Alligator bites were great gamble that even satisfied my picky wife! Our waitress Miss Allie was the best, it was bery busy but if you are looking for a top notch place to get crab legs and seafood right on the beach then you wont go wrong here!!!!

First and only 5 star restaurant we visited this week. We truly enjoyed EVERYTHING. The service was incredible - our waitress was Rachel and she was the best server we've had anywhere this week. Truly great. The food? Omg the food. Let me start off by saying I'm not really much of a fish or seafood person, I am here supporting my husband's dreams eating all of that he can ever desire. 😅 The crawfish tails app was to die for. The coconut shrimp was...out of this world. Truly. I felt like I was having an out of body experience while eating it ROFL. The kids fried shrimp had sooooo much in it and my son who is 7 said "this doesn't get 5 stars it gets 6!!!!" My daughter loved her bowl of gumbo. The Bahama Bob drink was the stiffest drink I've ever had in my life by the way, so you get your money's worth on that one 😳🤣🤣 all around a wonderful experience and we truly enjoyed ourselves last night. Thank you so much! Well worth the 1hr+ wait.
