A high-quality restaurant for service, food, and drinks. The 2 piece talented live band that night was pure entertainment. Beautiful interior decoration and ambience. Will definitely be back again for more!! 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

My husband and I took my mother-in-law and father-in-law out for Mother's Day brunch at the Fennec. First of all, the jazz was excellent--it consisted of a violinist and a keyboardist, so it was not too loud to hold a conversation at normal volume. The music was absolutely beautiful; my mother-in-law even started tearing up at one point! The waitstaff always made sure our waters were topped off (a tall order, considering I am seven months pregnant and constantly thirsty), and were quick to take our orders, answer our questions, offer us coffee refills, and fulfill our other requests. The food was outstanding as well. I had the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was juicy, plump, and perfectly breaded. My husband had the hash and ate every bite. My usually picky in-laws loved their French toast and breakfast plate entrees. The beignets held their own as the best I've had outside of New Orleans. Overall, highly recommended and will definitely be back!

My wife and I really enjoyed our first time dining at this establishment. We were greeted by a smiling hostess & she was eager to give us a quick tour when she realized that we had never been there. We decide to dine away from the main hall and enjoy our evening in the Foxhole Lounge. Our waiter & bartender went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable... Considering that they had a national recording country music artist (Jamey Johnson) in their establishment as well...we were still part of top priority as customers as well. My wife even got a drink named after her...so go order The Courtney! We will definitely be back in the near future.

Thomas was our server, both times in the same day…and he was wonderful! We had such a great dinner, we came back for drinks a couple hours later. What an awesome venue!! Definitely coming back!!

We went to The Fennec on a Wednesday and there were just a few people inside. We had reservations, but honestly, we didn't need them for a middle-of-the-week dinner. Our server was awesome and made several great recommendations. If you like pimento cheese, try the pimento cheese appetizer it is top-tier! All of the appetizers were delicious my favorites being the jalapeños poppers and the pimento cheese.

For entrées we had the mussels, crab cakes, red snapper, and the half bird. I didn't have dessert but someone in our party had the lemon tres Leche cake and said it was decadent.

I am looking forward to going back to The Fennec to experience the club atmosphere on the weekend. The bartender in the back was working on a new drink recipe that smelled like freshly baked apple pie.

This was our first time for Brunch at Fennec and it was awesome!! That atmosphere was so festive with the live music (New Orleans vibe). The food was amazing. We ordered the Beignets as an appetizer and the bananas foster sauce was beyond delicious! I ordered the chicken and waffles and the seasonings were so wonderful! My husband ordered the "Whole Nine Yards" and we both cleaned our plates! The servers were so attentive and worked together to make sure everyone had all that they needed. WE LOVED IT!!!!

Amazing, delicious, super fun and the food tasted as great as the photos look! The service was wonderful, the band was wonderful and the prices weren’t really bad either. Totally worth it!! Can’t wait to go back

My wife and I met friends for dinner and drinks at the Fennec. Our server Thomas was very friendly and helped make the evening fun. Food was terrific, and the bands made for a cool environment. Their upstairs reception/event area was impressive and something to consider in the future.

We tried the Fennec tonight and it was Fantastic! The drinks were on point and the food was delicious. We had the Fennec Burger and the PBLT with fries and squash casserole. We enjoyed the live music, it really brought everything together. Thursday night is trivia night. Shout out to Luca our server. Luca was very welcoming and knowledgeable about every item on the menu. He is a Rock Star!

Was there for a wedding and everything went fantastic. The staff was friendly and the coordinator, Ashley (I think), was amazing to make sure that the family had everything that they needed. Clean and beautiful facility. Can’t wait to go back.

First time visit and will now be a repeat visitor. Ok so I had the patty melt off the brunch menu along with the hash browns. The patty melt came with a fried egg, now my egg was a little overcooked but the sandwich was great nonetheless. My friend had the pancakes with to make a sausage and hash browns he loved it. We had a bottle of champagne with the juice of our choice for mimosas pretty good deal for $20. The service was phenomenal, or server was Thomas he was very attentive make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was really nice I love the way they have it decorated in there, there was a big huge wrap around bar that I am excited to go back to in the evening time. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back.

Great place to go. Very nice, food was awesome!! The staff was super nice and helpful and friendly. Located in a good part of town and the atmosphere was great with live music the nights I have been there. Will definitely be back and would recommend it for you to go checkout!! The drinks were also top notch and tasted great.

Wonderful food and venue! Always a great time. Nice selection of most everything. Good security. Only kinda issue is parking I usually over in and out on the weekends.

Foods was great & Thomas was our server! We shared the chicken quesadilla and I was full. I ordered the steak and took it home. The executive chef came out to every table to see how our dining experience was which I loved! We definitely will be back soon!

The food and drinks were great, but the service was amazing. Paul, our server, was so knowledgeable about the menu and so friendly and helpful. Great experience.

This is a really nice bar with live entertainment. The facility is large and nicely decorated. The burger and rueban were really tasty along with truffle fries!

I had previously written a rather negative review of this establishment. Every business has it's hardships and pit falls of course... However, after speaking to their management and ownership team I have realized they are like many other small business in Birmingham. That means working diligently to make it a better/safer place for those who live in, and visit the city. I have not tried the food but have heard nothing but good things and will be returning this weekend for their restaurant experience. I wish The Fennec nothing but the best fort 2024!

The Fennec is a big bar with lots of seating, live music and amazing craft cocktails. I enjoyed the Hello Darlin (gin, St Germaine and some other tasty ingredients) but must return and sample other options. Highly recommend this very fun establishment in close proximity to Red Mountain and Sidewalk Cinema and hope to be a regular customer.

An awesome place for drinks and good vibes!! Went here this past weekend with some friends for my bachelorette party and stayed all night! We planned on going to several places that night but no one wanted to leave!!! The vibe was great & management/bartenders were the best!! The band and DJ were awesome too! Will definitely come by again!

Stumbled on this spot while visiting Birmingham. This was a beautiful spot with friendly service, live music (even at happy hour), delicious food options, and wonderfully crafted cocktails. Wish we had one back home in Orlando.
