The guy who worked with me was great. Very quick and took care of me the first 30 seconds of being in the store! Always great products sold and they are truly a company who live up to their brand/their price!

We knew exactly what we wanted. The salesman was awesome. He went above and beyond. This is then3rd pair of boots my 17 year old bought in the last 18 months. And just now.learning that the store provides free oil on shoes each month and also oiled the boots before we left.

Wonderful experience. Never been to that location before. Brought one of my workers in for a pair of boots. Was greeted as soon as I entered by Zack. Very friendly and helpful. showed us everything he needs to clean the boot and oiled it for him. Even spoke some spanish to help him. very pleasant and knowledgeable young man. Best Red wing store Ive been to on the island.

I went with my boyfriend to shop for work books. We worked with Nicholas at the Lake Grove location and he was absolutely phenomenal!! Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Got him into the right boots, even to the socks! Able to identify why his back was hurting and in boots that will prevent that in the future. If you ever need work boots I highly suggest coming here and working with Nicholas.

Great experience at Redwing in Lake Grove...no different than the Redwing store in Miller Place.

Went in with my mind set on a pair of 875's. Nick determined the size and width that would be correct for my foot. Once the boots arrived, I tried them on and wore them out of the store. Kept them on all day for the rest of that day, and have worn them everyday since (1.5 months). A great, comfortable boot.

These are the only boots I will ever purchase. I work in Sanitation and have tried many different brands and Red Wings are the way to go. The staff at the store was fantastic!! Nick is a master of his craft, answered every question I had, and knew exactly what insoles were better for my foot measurement. Helped my 20 year old son pick out his very 1st real pair of work boots. The woman was so nice and patient. She was also very knowledgeable and took her time to explain everything. She really new her stuff!! She even upsold us inserts and waterproofing creme without being pushy. Thank u very much for a painless process!!

This Lake Grove location is the epitome of professional. Of course, the product is of outstanding quality, but the professionalism of the sales staff is outstanding - I would not consider going anywhere else. I wish all stores were this good.

Everyone who works at this location is very helpful and knowledgeable. That's something rare these days and you will not get that at a big box store. I've purchased boots here and have had boots re-soled. I had a pair of Iron Rangers resoled with a vibram gumlite sole and they came back better than original. I highly recommend this location.

Very knowledgeable. Answered all questions that I had. The selection of footwear was good. Do to my job paying for my footwear, the selection was limited.

This review is long overdue. This Redwing is the best store I’ve ever been in. The brand is also the best products I’ve ever spent my money on. The saying of, “good things aren’t cheap, and cheap things aren’t good” rings absolutely true. These products are worth every dollar, and then some. It’s quality that will last a lifetime, and the staff (which are phenomenal btw) take the personal time to help you find the perfect size. I personally bought three pairs of boots in one day from them (1 pair Dynaforce and 2 pairs of Blacksmiths).

The staff: Lenny is the owner, and he’s the real deal. A fourth-generation shoemaker, he knows everything. He’s so knowledgeable and helpful on stuff you wouldn’t even think of, but he does. He thinks about all of it. That’s someone that knows exactly what he’s taking about. And my salesman was Jason, also excellent. Tons of knowledge and patience. You want to try on a bunch of shoes to find the perfect size, he’s your guy. He wants to see you get a pair your going to love. Personal service like that is rare, and definitely makes the difference. When you go, let them lace you up, they do a cool trick lacing you. Definitely worth the trip.
