Towne House Fall River / Douro Steakhouse

I have dined here a handful of times now. Absolutely love the atmosphere, service and quality of food. This has become one of my favorite spots to dine when visiting the area. This is my first time here on a Wednesday when they offer dinner for two special. This is a must-have for couples looking for a great date night in the area. Our server tonight Anderson was wonderful, friendly, professional and very informative. Looking forward to my next dining visit here. They offer one vegan option on their menu and would love would love to see more vegan options on the menu in the future.

I ordered the Filet Mignon Gnocchi. The steak was a little overdone. I asked for medium & it was more so cooked medium well. Other than that, it was a great dish, as the combination of flavors was awesome. All of the staff were nice & accommodating. Nice setup inside.

Had a wonderful brunch there today. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and the brunch was delicious. The portions were amazing and everything was very fairly priced. We also wanted mimosas but asked for cranberry juice instead of orange juice, well they came back and said what about a mimosa flight with all different tasters and it did NOT disappoint! So so yummy, totally hit the spot. We will definitely becoming back again. It’s a vibe!

All around amazing experience dining here for a birthday celebration! It was my first time trying the Mozambique fries and they were delicious. The service was also excellent, Anderson was very friendly and made our dining experience great. Certainly planning on coming back and excited to try brunch here!

Went here for brunch. I LOVE SUNDAY BRUNCHES at Douro Steakhouse. They also have bottomless mimosas! They have really nice brunch drinks and menu. Honestly every single plate that was ordered and was being taken to tables looked soo good I was tempted to go take pictures of everyone's food lol
They have street parking as well as parking behind the building, staff is amazing. Vibe is just right. They also have a regular menu for the rest of the week.

We went out for New Year’s Eve with my family. The food, drinks were beyond excellent! Nice service, atmosphere, staff was very friendly! We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend trying this place.

My family and I went there for brunch this past Sunday. Everything was wonderful. I had the Avocado toast with eggs over easy and it was the best I have ever had! Highly recommend the Mimosa flight or if you like beer as much as I do.. try a "Beermosa". The bacon was absolutely perfect! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We loved the different areas of the restaurant, all unique and super clean.

We enjoyed our visit on a Monday because they have $1 raw bar (oysters, littlenecks, and shrimp). We also enjoyed our meals of grilled octopus, mac and cheese made with Saint Jorge cheese, and paella. The portions were very generous, and they were willing to substitute salads for starches.

The reviews that I read before going praised the waiter, Anderson. Sure enough, he didn't disappoint, constantly anticipating our needs. He was the only waiter on the floor, and there were quite a few tables, a couple with large parties, but somehow, he made it seem like we were his only table. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family without any hesitation.

Parking appears to be street parking only, and finding a space was not very easy, and that was on a Monday night. I can't imagine how difficult it would be on a weekend. I should have asked if they have any agreements with the surrounding businesses that have parking lots for their customers to park there at night.

Douro provided my wife and I with the perfect meal, service and experience for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and the menu is impressive in its offerings. We decided to order the Mozambique fries for an app which were light and delicious. For our main courses we got the Portuguese Steak, and Steak and Chourico Skewer. Both of which were absolutely unbelievable. The sauce served with the Portuguese Steak is spicy and rich and pairs well with the rice and thin sliced round fries. On top of the food being great, our server Emily was attentive, respectful and visited the table the perfect amount of time. To finish the night off, champagne was brought to us on the house to finish off a perfect experience for our anniversary. I appreciate the Douro team for making us feel welcome and appreciated on our first visit. They created a repeat customer who will preach their service to anybody who will listen.

My husband and I come here frequently! It's a HIDDEN GEM! Any time we want to grab a nice dinner and have a nice time, we come here. Everywhere else is packed, and this place is quiet and perfect! Although we are not complaining! We never need a reservation, which is so so so nice. The food is superb! The last time I went, I got the grilled Ceasar salad. The time before that was the pistachio chicken WOW!! My mouth is watering again, just thinking about that dish. And they do brunch!!!! So good! Definitely recommend checking it out!

I enjoyed every minute of it. The waiter Anderson was very polite, and informative about the menu.

Sunday brunch was amazing! Every item our group had was freshly prepared and delicious. Our server was fantastic, he listened to our order and made excellent recommendations. It was a perfect day for brunch on their patio.

Came to Towne House tonight for their dinner for 2 special....we started with chicken wings that were crispy and cooked perfectly. For entrees my husband got the Portuguese steak with rice and fries, he asked for extra sauce ob the side and they definitely delivered, steak was cooked to temp perfectly. I had the salmon which was absolutely delicious. We shared the chocolate bomb for dessert and we really enjoyed that also. Great deal for 40.00 for two. I highly recommend coming here either for the dinner for 2 special on Wednesday or any other time

The meals and appetizers were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was superb. Wait staff was very attentive without being obtrusive. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet cozy at the same time. I look forward to going back for another lovely evening of dining well.

My husband and I had 2 delicious meals. He ordered the Portuguese Steak, which he said was delicious! I tried it, he was right!
I ordered the Passion Fruit Fresh Cod, it was absolutely the best fish I have ever had!!
The flavor was soo good!! I've never had anything quite like it. Our waiter, Eddie, was wonderful! My husband wants to go again for his birthday this weekend! I'll be happy to go too!! I highly recommend the Douro Steakhouse.

First time here. Had the Wednesday night special -awesome deal with 1appetizer, 2 entrees and one dessert!( $40). Delicious food and service ! Will definitely be back!

Decided last minute to grab some drinks, a few apps and dinner. Didn’t have a reservation but was welcomed in and seated at a beautiful table with a window view. The atmosphere and decor were stunning. Tim our server was absolutely amazing! I believe he worked at the bar but when we arrived the other server was on the phone, so instead of making us wait he seated us right away and took control of the situation. He was extremely professional and polite! He deserves a raise! Drinks tasted phenomenal, food was superb and plated beautifully. Will be coming here again, without a doubt!!!

This is our favorite place in Fall River! Anderson our server was amazing. Very polite and mentioned his favorite drinks and food which personally became my favorite! My husband and I will always recommend this place! Happy New Year! Get your dinner, or brunch here, don’t say I didn’t tell you either!
