Glenwood Park

I was actually at the Erie Zoo. Nice place. They've made a lot of improvements since I was a kid. Still ongoing. They do need toget some bigger animals back though.

Granddaughters had a great time here after visiting the Erie Zoo. It's right next to it. So if you wanna have a picnic before you go see all the wonder animals. It is clean! The playground was a hit with the kids.

This park is huge. It has a lot parking with different pick Nick areas. Also nice clean bathroom facilities. The playground has lots to do for big and small kids. We were here to let the kids play after the zoo, since it’s really close.

There is plenty of shade and places to sit or play in this park. Perfect amount of space for social distancing outdoors while wearing your mask. It is tucked away in a very nice neighborhood and is accessible to Glenwood Park Drive. Located next to the zoo, this place is very natural looking and serene.

Took the grandsons to a birthday party picnic. The boys had so much fun at the playground!! Can't wait to go back again. Haven't been there in years, was so happy to see how well maintained the ground and pavilions are.

Picnic pavilions operate on a first come first serve basis but I've never had a problem grabbing one close to the playground for our summer team picnic. Plenty of litter bins and recycling keep the park looking clean.
I don't believe any of the pavilions have electrical, so keep that in mind if you're planning a gathering.

I stop here to recycle glass containers, but it's a fine city park with lots of picnic spaces.

Nice park with plenty of space for the kids to run and play. Clean restrooms and pavilions with charcoal grills!

Great park lots of picnic table areas with roofs. Great playground. Was better when I was a kid it was easier to get to the creek but still can if you got the south end of the park.

Glenwood has always been a good place to have a family gathering. Restrooms centrally located. And a playground the kids enjoy. Being close to the zoo is nice also.

The park itself is pretty fun. Lots of things to do. Plus bunnies of being near the zoo. What I like quite a bit is the trail across the street from the zoo. Lots of scenery.

This is my favorite park in Erie. It's close to the zoo, it has lots of shade, and it has play equipment for both younger and older kids. One warning though, the bathrooms are only open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. There are several picnic shelters and benches. It can be a bit crowded in the summer because the Y and the zoo take campers there during the day. I personally don't mind because it gives my kids lots of kids to play with.

Had a great time and it was a great space. Lots of families out there celebrating. Playground for the kids to play on and explore. Is restrooms close by and ample parking. Perfect day for picnic.

Great little park right next to the zoo! I like coming here for a bit and then walking around the zoo - it’s a double whammy and wears my kids out! The bathrooms are well taken care of (although I wish they were open year-round) and you can tell the maintenance workers really care about the park. There’s tons of picnic areas and lots of places to explore.

Took my grand daughter to the park.. It was clean.. Grass cut.. Bathrooms cleaned. Hand dryers did not work. Great park for small children

Lots of pucnic tables, many are covered. No charge but first come first serve. Nice playground for kids. Flush toilets located centrally. Grills aren't in the best shape.

Super nice area for the kids and also to have get together this is my go to park my kids love it and there are always lots of kids to play with

This park has wonderful well maintained playground equipment. It features a paved walkway and pavilions. It also has nice facilities. A great place to play with your kids!
