Always top notch food. Favorites are the general Thai chicken (delicious sauce, great veggies, generous portion), crab rangoons always amazing & veggie lo mein has been my recent go-to, shrimp pad Thai always delivers & with giant shrimp. Tom Kha excellent if you’re looking for a soup. The Thai tea is a must. Owner is so kind. Favorite in town.

Some of the best Thai on the seacoast, both for dine in and takeout. The employees are always extremely friendly and I really enjoy coming in here. The food is always fresh and has tons of flavor. We always get the pralam chicken and the yellow curry. Try the aloe drink!

I absolutely love this place top to bottom. Anytime I order something new my mind and taste buds are consistently blown away. I normally just get Pad Thai, sometimes a yellow curry. Got the Pad Ke Mouv for the first time tonight and. MY. GOD. I didn't know food could be this delicious and satiating. 5 stars across the board. Support local!

I love basil leaf. It’s a super cute small resturaunt and the staff is very welcoming and sweet. Great service! The food here is amazing!!! I love their pho and curries. I love comkng to this resturaunt, if you like thai food check it out. 😊

The food is really good but don't expect authentic thai food. I've been to Thailand 2 times and spent many months traveling around the country so I have a good idea what authentic thai food tastes like. That being said, this does not take away from how good the food is here! I've gotten a few noodle dishes, green curry and the pho and it was all very tasty!

Personally, This is my favorite restaurant in Newmarket. I have never had a bad meal here and I come multiple times a week for the Pho. I like to try Pho wherever I can, but basil leaf will always be the best.

My mother and I enjoyed a delicious meal here when we visited the area. The service was excellent. A very small dining area inside, many seem to get take-away meals. But Thai food isn't something we have locally where I live and I wanted to be able to ask questions. So glad we dined in because we were treated so well. The food was so fresh and full of flavor. I had yellow mango curry with tofu, and my mom also enjoyed a tofu dish. We loved that option, hard to get quality vegetarian food back home. This place was great and we will return if we are back in the area!

We had a late lunch. The appetizer sampler was a great way not to have to make a choice. The sauces that came with it were perfect for all the choices. If I had to pick favorites we liked the dumplings and the best best chicken wings I’ve ever had. The soup was outstanding- the fresh herbs made you want just one more spoonful. We hadn’t even gotten our meals and already were making plans to come back. We tried 3 meals and had lots of leftovers…: Drunken Noodles, Garlic Sauce, and Pad Thai. Everything was so good…. The fresh vegetables and herbs made it special- we don’t know if we will get what we already liked or try other things from the menu.

I live in the area and am a huge Asian cuisine fan who is very particular on where I get certain offerings. Basil Leaf is at the top of the list, and I have been a consistent customer of theirs for nearly 2 years now. The staff is always above and beyond and friendly and the food is among the best you can get anywhere on the seacoast. Try the Pepper Steak with Duck and Pan Fried Dumplings!!!

I cook for me and my boyfriend 6 days a week with one day reserved to eat out somewhere, and often he lets me choose the place where we eat. I almost always choose Basil Leaf Thai and get the beef pho! The broth is sweet and savory, the beef is tender and flavorful, and they give you a bunch of toppings for it. Just a super delicious meal all around

My family and I go here practically once a week, and we're going for lunch again today! Collectively, we've tried just about everything on the menu and they NEVER disappoint. Some of the best food I've ever had! Dishes are incredibly flavorful. Vegetable pieces are big, crunchy, and fresh! Extensive menu. Staff is super friendly, and service is quick! I don't do well with spicy food so they adjust the 'heat level' to be mild for me which I appreciate. My favorite dish is the mango chicken; the chicken is always crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. A perfect combo! I always make sure to leave about a third for leftover lunch the next day :). I can't recommend Basil Leaf enough!

Wow! Delicious and unique flavors with a fresh taste and feel. If you haven't eaten here in a while, you need to come back.
My wife and I had an appetizer sampler (all good). Also had General Thai Chicken and Pho with some cocktails. BTW the Pho is easily top 3 best we've ever had.

My favorite restaraunt! The owners are lovely and the food is AMAZING! I would marry these Drunken Noodles if i could. A world without Basil Leaf isn’t a world I want to live in. 5 stars isn’t enough!
