For these reasons-Many kinds of coffee and goodies - all made with ❤ -Service with a smile- Great collection of books used/new - Nice atmosphere with fabulous array of music- cozy corners to sit and chat or play chess/ card games- check out the cool record collections ,funny cards- notepads stationery..

No guns allowed. Demon pencil drawings on the wall . Tattoos and nose rings. A snack called nut sack. All the best of american culture. And caffeine with vegetarian options, makes it even more artistic and superior in its virtues. Super awesome.

I came here for the first time today and was so pleasantly surprised! I browsed the books and sipped the best pumpkin spice latte I have ever had. The staff were fast and nice. I will be returning!

Second time at crackskulls today. Even more pleased with this place. Ordered a large iced Banana-Nut (banana and hazelnut) Latte and a blueberry scone. the latte is perfect and the scone is so moist without being overly sweet. Its worth noting on my first trip I noticed a sign on this shop that they offer free plan B with no questions asked, I just love the commitment to community and autonomy that this place displays. I need to make a mental note to think of this place over the chain coffee stops, I feel better patronizing this place and the quality of the goods is far superior.

A wonderful lil coffee shop, if you like bookshops and coffee this is THE place for you! A must if you are visiting Newmarket like I was. Delicious drinks - loved the Nutella/hazelnut coffee/mocha I had!

This is my favorite coffee shop/bookstore. Not just in Newmarket, anywhere. I love this place and the staff is always friendly, the vibe is great, super welcoming, and they always seen to have good music playing!

I have been going here for over 10 years! I love the cozy vibe. It's nice to just chill with your laptop and feel the inspiration. It's also pretty cool that you can bring your books and get some credit for anything in the store.(They only allow one bag of books during the week, Monday through Fridays). If you haven't been here definitely visit and check out the books and the local artist items. The vibe is very welcoming! Have Fun!!!

Great place for local coffee. They have a creative menu and staff are always helpful. Atmosphere is eclectic and you can also shop for used books too. Highly recommend!

Wonderful coffee, fresh bagels, lots of milk options, vegan cream cheese, and local kombucha!! They also now offer chocolate bars, baked gluten free goodies, and often vegan snacks.

This was my first time visiting. There was a steady stream of customers, which tells me the coffee is good. I chose to dine in. There were a couple handfuls of seats. This store had coffee and books. It's a cute store to relax, read a book and have a coffee and pastry. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Just a great coffee shop bookstore vintage record albums if you're in town definitely go there really a nice place, very very welcoming even my dog was allowed to come in.

I've been going regularly for two years now. I've never tried anything I didn't like, and I now have impossible standards for coffee. THE BEST speciality coffee I have ever had. Plus, the vibe is awesome.

Great atmosphere with all the books and nice decor!

The drinks are creative and delicious but honestly I come here just for their homemade mixed cream cheeses - specifically the veggie, which is without exaggeration the best I’ve ever had. I’ve also found some used books to take home, too. All around local gem!!

The perfect latte? Maybe, but it's definitely a great local coffee shop and bookstore with that hard to find warmth.
