The hours listed are wrong. I've attempted to fix them three times now. M-F, 7:30-4:30, and 9-12 on Saturday. Closed Sundays.

The staff are very hardworking and kind. Most of the complaints I'm seeing here are probably due to the third party carrier who is contracted to deliver to the box clusters. We seem to only have issues with them during the holidays when the whole system is overwhelmed.

Never really get to go here a lot except for when we need to pick up large packages and didn't have any bad experiences. Our mail lady who delivers mail in Sandia Knolls is just the best. She always put the packages in a plastic bag when the weather is bad and she makes sure that she puts them in a secure spot.

Mixed experience here and I will echo what others have said about deliveries always needing to be picked up in person. Maybe it's the volume of packages or something else, but yeah... USPS is the worst choice out here when UPS and FedEx deliver to my front porch. Rural doesn't mean what it used to, and people have higher standards these days.

Art is really nice and helpful, cannot say that much for anyone else. We have had so much trouble getting packages delivered. They don't like the way living in a rural community that we have to address our packages. Then we go in to pick up packages and they don't always give us all of our packages and we have to go back down to get the ones they have forgotten. They then give us trouble because we don't have a package notice for that package because we already turned it in with the other package. They take their phone off the hook when they are busy so you have to return to ask questions or deal with things. This used to be such an efficient and nice post office but it has gone down the tube. They also take their phone off the hook or just do not answer.

The head guy is very rude. Any question you ask he treats you like a child or will give you a sarcastic answer. They will actually huff when they have to check for a package. They have lost 2 packages and have sent 2 back to sender even though our address was correct on the mail it just didn't have the correct spelling of my name. I will be switching to the post office in ceder crest when my term is up.

The staff are so rude and unhelpful. Our carrier seems to not know how to do his job as I have had multiple things go missing and/or placed in my neighbors box. I notify the postmaster and nothing gets done about it. I receive notification that an item is out for delivery that requires a signature so I call since I know my carrier won't even have it in his truck to attempt to obtain required signature to verify it is actually there before I make the trip out there and the woman that answered the phone was very rude which seems to be par for the course and a constant at that location.

Miserable staff that couldn't care less about their jobs or your mail. Constantly dealing with missing and misplaced packages and mail delivered to the wrong addresses. Staff doesn't care at all when you tell them these issues. If you're picking up a package, you better hope you have the pink slip or else "they can't find it"; but magically will find it if you get the slip the same day or even if the package has been marked delivered. I've complained many times and tried to contact the NM Post Master General but could never reach anybody to discuss these issues. They simply don't care about you. I even have Ring video of the mailman throwing a delicate package to the ground. It's infuriating to have my mail effectively held hostage by these horrible people. Please, if you hate your jobs so much, go find a different one. After literally hundreds of dollars in lost mail and countless hours of lost time going to the post office just to be told they can't find it, I'm just fed up. I wish there was something else I could do. If you're planning on moving to this area, beware that you may never get some of your mail.

This seems like a mom and pop shop, which is fine; however, the lady I’ve dealt with at the store is rude and the mail man seems awfully lazy. The rule where I live is that you have to live within 0.5 miles of the mail box to have things delivered to the house. Well I’m 200 ft away and that worked for maybe my first two packages since moving here...despite reminding them nicely that we are so close. Then even the times when it seems like my proximity is remembered, I get a note that states it was too heavy to carry while my 120 lb wife goes to pick it up later with one arm. This location effectively negates any benefit of amazon prime shipping and inconveniences is greatly as we are at work before they open and off work after they close.

My wife and I moved into Sandia Park almost two weeks ago and were promised a keyed box. Finally, after a complaint to the postal authority, we received the key.
Then, when two packages went missing, my wife inquired of the postal delivery person who was abrasive and confrontational, saying, "Oh, I KNOW who you are," and added, "it was impossible that the packages were missing from two days ago". Very unprofessional operation. Latest episode: Carrier lied and said a package was delivered to individual. Nope. A lie. Wasn't delivered, and not to myself of wife. Continued reports to postmaster at station go unheeded, and the games continue unabated. Terrible delivery service at this post office. Would give it -10 stars if possible.

Horrendous service by the postal carrier. Consistently losing, "misplacing", misdelivering or stealing (yes stealing) packages, ranging from small things to firearm parts. Multiple complaints logged. Nothing done. Seems fishy, and postmaster won't handle it either. Postmaster has done nothing, etc.

I had a lady drive up today to deliver a package to me that was delivered to her box instead of mine. This seems to be happening a lot lately. This woman was so considerate to drive to my house on a Sunday and bring my package to me. What is going on at this post office? We get the wrong mail all of the time!

Extremely slow service. Not only with actually in store, but with deliveries as well. Poor customer service seems like no one enjoys there job which makes it even more difficult to get anything done with this building. I hope you guys look at other options before having to deal with this business.
