Midnight Taco

Best tacos and quesadillas in Arizona! I’ve been searching for some good Mexican food for the past year in Phoenix. Nothing impressed me. On a recommendation from my coworker I headed down to downtown Gilbert and randomly decided to check out this taco stand. Amazing tacos. Better than what you’ll get at a nice Mexican restaurant.

Great "food truck" style food while hopping around downtown Gilbert. The casadilla, nachos, and tacos were all a hit.

Perfect late night food after partying 🥳 Portions were big so definitely getting money's worth. Our group shared chicken nachos, carne asada quesadilla, al pastor burrito and carne asada nachos. All super good, also loved the salsa verde! The workers were nice and food prepared quickly, also loved the music playing and a few tables available to relax and enjoy! Definitely worth checking out!

I've come here multiple times at this point. I work in downtown Gilbert and it's such a great and quick place to grab food before going home. If you're gonna be in downtown, just do yourself a favor and come here for a quick bite before leaving. Carne asada is fantastic and I always get an al pastor for good measure. Sodas and water available too plus burritos and Sonoran dogs too!

Are you kidding me… The food was so authentic and reminded me of Mexico. The service was impeccable too, I loved it!

Me and the husband have been making Midnight Taco date night every Friday since we discovered this place (thanks in part to the community impact article in the newspaper). The food is amazing. The service is excellent. And the music is great. The stand and the storefront are equally awesome. Can't recommend any higher. Joyride taco used to be my first choice downtown, but no more. My first choice everytime for excellent tacos. I go with the carne asada tacos. Hubs chooses the el pastor. Nachos are great as are burritos. First choice has to be the tacos though.

Midnight Taco has the best tacos around! Great size and flavor, carne asada is delicious. The people are very nice and attentive and there is almost no wait, everything is made fresh. Excellent spot on a Friday night, highly recommend them.

My boyfriend had been raving about this place for a year and a half. We would always forget to go. Tonight I remembered they were open and I just got to say I was not disappointed! So, I am a pickyish eater with a food palette of a kid. I ordered a cheese quesadilla. GOLLY! That’s was easily the best cheese quesadilla I’ve ever had. The tortilla was perfect and not at all burned. The cheese was perfect and perfectly spread throughout the quesadilla! Totally recommend!!! My boyfriend also said his tacos were amazing but like the most important part was the cheese quesadilla!

Excellent Mexican food. If you want good tacos, you have found them, their quesadillas are very good too. Definitely worth paying a visit. We will be back

I visited their new location in Gilbert. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. The tacos were delicious and the staff was pleasant. I am excited to return for lunch again and again. I will be sure to tell my friends about this place.

Stopped into their new Val Vista and Warner location and had the best experience and most delicious food. Loved their carne asada and al pastor tacos. Will absolutely be back for more!

We got one of every taco just to see what they were about and I have to say none of them even came close to letting us down. Wow, amazing tacos for an amazing price. Looks like we got a new neighborhood taco joint!

I love the carne asada tacos, but my new favorite is the Al pastor carne asada; it was bomb!!! Real authentic taco stand that reminds me of Sonora’s street tacos!!

What an amazing restaurant! Perfect blend of spices and excellent flavor. So glad that a second location has been added (SW corner Val Vista/Warner). A must eat!

I was actually caught off guard on how good the tacos were. Nothing fancy about the corn tortillas, but still flavor explodes.

Best tacos in Gilbert. Lots of copy cats nearby. Look for the red umbrellas and food cart.
