This is our favorite getaway from the city. Beautiful, serene surroundings, the room is always perfectly laid out with a lot of attention to detail, and the food and service are fantastic. We love to visit a few times a year.

So lovely! Perfect balance of rustic and comfortable. The breakfast is truly outstanding-- every item was fresh, homemade, and delicious, and the location is really beautiful and convenient to many hiking trails.

The rustic and historic buildings, and mountain setting are complemented by the very well appointed rooms and excellent restaurant. The Inn is a romantic step back in time, wonderfully decorated, with all the comforts of today. All the staff, everyone on site, provides outstanding and friendly service. This retreat is about intimacy with nature, relaxing, eating well, and getting away; yet the Inn is close enough to the lake and Clayton to enjoy all the area offers. This Inn beats the city-fied accommodations every day!

We hosted our September wedding at Glen-Ella Springs Inn and it was the perfect mountain destination location for our family and friends. From the moment we started working with the owner, Luci, on the wedding planning, she was kind, professional and responsive in ensuring we would have a perfect weekend. The guests that stayed at the Inn loved the intimacy of the weekend, exploring the beautiful property, having breakfast together and spending additional time outside of the formal wedding with us. The actual wedding ceremony and reception was lovely. It was a classy and elegant event. Our guests were very complimentary of the food and bar and the staff's service was impeccable. We truly would not have had as close to an experience at any other venue in the greater Atlanta area. Luci made sure everything was organized and went as planned and worked well with all of our vendors. If you are looking for an intimate, private and beautiful wedding venue with attentive and professional staff - Glen-Ella is the venue for you. The inn was stunning with tons of character and history information. The food in my opinion was 5 star from presentation to taste it was exceptional. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. We will definitely visit again. ❤

Such an amazing place! Celebrating our 39 anniversary with dinner at Glen-Ella. Food is very elegant, tasty and priced very well! Service was on point. We will definitely be back again.

An excellent choice for my birthday dinner! We started with the scallops…the bacon jam on top was delicious! I had the the lamb and loved it; my husband had the steak, and enjoyed it. He’s a steak lover and thought it was great so that’s saying something! The chocolate cake for dessert hit the spot and was a great way to end end the meal. Shoutout to our waitress, Linda, who gave great food suggestions and made me feel celebrated :)

The ambiance felt so relaxing and elegant. The restaurant was pretty full but the noise wasn’t loud at all. I’d go back on a regular basis if I lived nearby!

Staying at the Inn was an extra treat. I loved having coffee on the patio each morning. Our room was lovely and clean and cozy. We’ll definitely be back!

Gracious Wedding Venue
I give Glenn Ella Springs a Five Plus Star rating for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Glenn Ella demonstrated a very high level of competence, service, and style in a real production of a 123 guest wedding celebration. We had a reception buffet on Friday and a full seated wedding dinner on Saturday after the wedding followed by a band with dancing, After that, there were smores around a fire. The food was fantastic and beautifully served. In addition, Glenn Ella’s rooms hosted the wedding party with grace and care for three nights. My room was well appointed and tastefully decorated. The bed was great. The owners, Lucy and Ed, were constantly present watching every detail and assuring perfection. I want to give them my greatest thanks for a job very well done.

Breanna waited on our table last night. She did an excellent job! Great dinner and great atmosphere!

We celebrated my mom's 89th bday here! It was wonderful. It couldn't have been any better. We had wine with baked brie w/Carmel sauce & granny Smith apples wirh the market salad with blueberry vinegrette. My husband had the scallops on grits topped with bacon jam!!!!! I had the trout (to die for) mom had the macadamia crusted chicken and husband had the salmon. All three dishes were to die for. Creme brulee topped the dinner and we loved how we were not rushed at all. We literally rolled out of there we were so full. We will be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here. It was a real treat. The property is beautiful. The food is fantastic. Do not forget to book reservations at their restaurant. The food is delicious. The room was very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay and our meals at Glen-Ella! Pleasantly surprised by the whole experience!

My husband and I were recently guests at a wedding held at this venue. The guest rooms were clean and spacious, with plenty of lighting, electrical outlets, and great water pressure. The staff were all welcoming, and made sure that everyone had a pleasant experience. Everything we tasted during our stay was delicious, and I would highly recommend the ravioli. The only downside is the drive to the venue. We had a wonderful stay, and I hope that I have the pleasure of returning in the future.

What a truly wonderful experience. This historic Inn has it all. The property is very well cared for and appointed perfectly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant is top notch. Our server was Kristin. She did a great job. We shared 3 appetizers and split the entree. The crab cakes, baked brie and scallops were so delicious. We split the beef tenderloin with asparagus and mushroom risotto cake. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. For dessert we split the Apple bread pudding. The meal was exquisite and the Inn is a great place for weddings, couples, family reunions and any other special event. We will go back and we highly recommend the Glen-Ella Springs Inn and restaurinat.

The owner (Ed) is very nice and a pleasure to speak with.

We stopped by to charge and eat lunch but they were closed. (Open Tues-Sat for lunch/dinner) (Today is Monday). He still let us charge up and toured the property with us!

The property is beautiful. They have a small shop in the inn which I got a very nice mug from and some body butter. Huge back area with lots of grass and a pool, pavilion, it’s super nice.

We will definitely be back to stay in a room.

We love staying at Glen Ella. It's just perfect. We especially love the restaurant. Delicious breakfast in your room is such a treat! Recently, we stayed on the backside with the pool and beautiful view. Beautiful Bluebirds where playing in the field and we even saw a rainbow. Be sure and stop over at Glen Ella it's a home away from home for us. We highly recommend!!!!!

Great getaway to reconnect w nature and unplug. Rooms are cozy and nice. The restaurant has delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. Great for a romantic getaway or a gals weekend.

Everything about Glen-Ella Springs Inn was magical, especially in the cool evenings when the tiny light illuminated the beautiful gardens. The breakfasts were mouth watering and we both enjoyed every bite, sitting on the patio enjoying the gardens. Anita was so accomodating to our every request or questions regarding the area in North Georgia. Would I stay again? Yes, in a heartbeat. Can't wait to visit again. Yes, the restaurant serves the most delicious 5 five star dinners.
