Due to numerous moves over the last 8 years we have visited many different veterinary clinics in Texas and Georgia. Now that we have settled in Georgia for our forever home we wanted to find a vet that would meet the needs of our 10 year old fur baby. I must say from the second we walked in the front door of the Clarkesville Vet office my husband and I were very excited to see that everything was clean and very well organized. The front reception staff, exam room staff and the Dr (Vet) was very helpful and friendly. We were so impressed and happy to find a Vet that we can trust and appreciate to take care of our fur baby. I would recommend this vet to anyone.

This was our first visit and we had a great experience! The receptionist was very welcoming. The waiting area was spacious with rocking chairs and benches, plenty of room for multiple clients with pets to spread out. The tech was helpful and vet was knowledgeable. Both were great with our dog, Flash!
Thank you. Highly recommended.

I took my sweet Coco yesterday for the first time for her yearly exam and vaccinations. She was totally thrilled with the office and staff. She loved being in the presence of other animals. She loved the friendliness and smells. She had a very happy experience except the shots which she didn't mind too much. Her happiness makes me happy. Thank you Dr. Carl Williams and all the staff at Clarkesville Veterinary for the very pleasant experience for my furbaby.

I have been a client of Clarkesville Vet before they had their office in Clarkesville. They have always went above & beyond to make my animals and me comfortable!! I just had to have one of my babies euthanized & they had so much compassion for us. They are a sincere group of Doctors especially Dr Eldred. Their staff is awesome especially the ladies at the front desk!

A few years ago at a different vet, I had a traumatic experience with my cat, where she had to be held down with leather sleeves. I was anxious about bringing her to a vet again, but we had an incredible experience. I voiced my concerns with the tech who listened without judgement. She and the doctor were patient in their interactions and read my cat very well. There was no hissing, batting, or even growling, which was a surprise to me. Even the shots went smoothly. We were also in and out in 30 minutes.

Everyone is kind, professional and very knowledgeable. My pups love them all even if they don’t like some necessary procedures. Once again, a successful visit. Thank you.

They take such wonderful care of my dog and all the cats we have brought in! We also board my dog here anytime we go out of town. Always a good experience with boarding. I found 2 kittens in a local church parking lot. The kittens were not feeling well. I called Clarkesville Vet, and they worked me in very quickly. Very clean facility, no smells. The staff is amazing!!

Clarkesville Veterinary was able to see our pet rabbit the next day and attend to his sharp nails and some matted fur. They were professional, helpful, caring and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend them to anyone and hope Jack can visit again when we return from Florida in April!

Pleasant, knowledgeable, and friendly staff from the front desk, to the vet tech, and the vet. The facilities were clean and up kept, and the prices were reasonable. Overall a great first time experience.

Everyone was kind and courteous my whole time there. The meeting with the vet and the vet tech provided me with all the information I needed to take care of my aging dog especially now that he is going blind. Their time was efficient and they had me in and out in a very timely manner. The dog was uncomfortable being in a strange place and unable to see what was going on. They made sure that he was comfortable in everything they did to him.

I love Clarkesville Vet! Both of my dogs have been seen there. They've removed two tumors from my Dachshund. They have the most professional, kind and generous staff.

I was recommended to this vet (that I had no idea was so close to me) by a friend whose dog previously had an extensive surgery and I am so glad he did. Our Doberman had eaten and eventually passed stick shards but suffered some internal damage that was quiet concerning. They were able to see us promptly considering the given time window of when we called. the vets , techs and front office were all super nice and professional. They diagnosed our dog and provided a solution to make him better. He had an overnight stay to be monitored and when we were able to pick him back up he wasn't traumatized at all. This tells me not only were the compassionate when he wasn't feeling well but also when he was back to normal they took care of him with patience. I will continue to use them for regular services and in the event of emergency services that I hope will not come again.

I was really concerned my dog may have cancer. They were very kind and took time to explain exactly what they were doing to determine the type of tumor. Turns out it isn't cancer and they will be able to do the surgery here!

They listened to my concerns about our dog and was really caring and did everything they could to figure out what was wrong with her. They didn’t hesitate to get us in when our pup was in need of attention. We love this vet and 100% will be coming back in the future!!!

I am new to the area. They got my dog in promptly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My dog has already improved. The vet gave me a treatment plan and prognosis. I would recommend this office to anyone who asked me.

The greatest veterinary experience we have ever been through.

For a while our beautiful cat was acting strange and had a change in his daily habits, we then took him to a different vet to find he had a tumor in his abdomen. Heart broken with the news we were told that the prognosis was most likely fatal however, there was a slim chance of hope and the only way to know was through a 1200 dollar ultrasound. Willing to do anything to save our beautiful sweet baby we opted to do the ultrasound, unfortunately, the vet was unable to schedule it until the end of the week. While we waited, a day had passed and our little guy became progressively worse, so we called every vet near our house but none would take him for an emergency appointment. Assured that the end was near, we called Clarksville Veterinary hospital frantic to help our little baby. Without hesitation they told us to bring him right away to be seen. The dr on duty was extremely nice and honest, did an ultrasound and gave us her honest opinion and expectations for a fraction of the cost. She then gave us some pain management medication and told us to take him home and say our goodbyes. This opportunity allowed everyone in the family to say their goodbyes and make peace. We then scheduled his final day where we could share his last few moments with him until he passed. We are truly grateful for the experience that they have provided and could not recommend their services enough.

Thank you so much for everything and helping our baby be at peace.

It’s not easy finding a vet who knows and understands rabbits. My dear bunny is old and is dealing with multiple issues with a poor prognosis. The Vet and assistant, Beth, were so very caring and helped me understand what was wrong. I was given options and the freedom to choose what I thought was best for my bunny. I am thankful and appreciate their ability to guide me through the visit. Then they followed up a few days later and we talked more about a plan for Foo-Foo. They are also our cat and dogs vets. Clarkesville is lucky to have this team available for all pets.

I have used Clarkesville Vet for many years with at least 3 dogs. Currently, CV is caring for Lily, my 17 year old rat terrier. I have complete trust in the doctors and staff. They are professional, caring folks that treat Lily as if she is their only patient. They take care of routine visits, sick visits, and boarding with compassion and consideration of Lily as one of their senior patients. I highly recommend Clarkesville Vet.
