I’ve been to both the Villages and the Orlando locations and both have impressive inventories of firearms and supplies. The shooting lanes are very clean and the air does not stink of gun smoke.

My husband and I have taken 2 classes, one with Patrick and another with Hugh. Both are friendly and laided back with their teaching style, but that doesn't mean they don't take firearms VERY seriously. Their classes are low key and they're happy to answer questions throughout the lesson. We shot in both classes, John assisted Hugh that day and he was easy to work with as well. We've become members because of our experience thus far and have signed up for another class. The retail and desk staff have also been exceptional in answering questions, showing us many firearms and and getting us signed up for classes. The facility is very nice and also clean. The safety rules are clear and seem to be followed to the letter to keep everyone safe. We look forward to spending lots of time doing some recreational shooting!

I have purchased a firearm at Shooters World in the Villages and found the facility to be very professional, clean and well run. The most important aspect was having Range officers in the range area to help supervise patrons for safety and to assist any inexperienced shooters. The building and grounds are kept up like new with plenty of parking. I have been to over a dozen different gun ranges and this is the best I have found so far.

My daughters, 16 & 16, had the privilege of taking a gun handling class with Hugh. Hugh was patient, informative, respectful and so supportive of two girls who had never handled a gun before. Through Hugh’s fine instruction my girls each fired 25 rounds, only shooting outside their target once! Their grandfather could not have been prouder than to witness their skill straight out of the lesson. By far the best range and store I've been to. Awesome 100yd rifle range. Wide selection of firearms to at least see what you want if you're looking. Everything modern and clean. Honestly, fair prices on the range given how good it was, and never felt rushed either. Seemed well organized.

Good staff. Lots of guns for rent …. Shoot a $1200 gun for $20!! Good selection to buy too. Guns, holsters, magazines, accessories, and ammo. Annual membership or walk-ins welcome. Must complete safety form.

A very professionally run and extremely well stocked gun store.
As soon as you enter, someone is available to help you and they have a center area where you can try a great many firearms. You can take them off their stand and see what it’s like to pull the trigger and how the gun feels in your hand.
They also have many guns for rent if you want to try shooting a gun before buying it .
Their firing range accommodates the various guns we have, including shotguns and our ARS.
The staff are very helpful and there is no rushing and one feels very relaxed.

Peter the gunsmith is extremely knowledgeable, very patient, and you can speak directly with him. You don’t go through a third person.

I would recommend this place to people who are very used to shooting as well as beginners because they have many classes available, and also private Training.

Excellent overall experience. I couldn't have been happier. Came on a Friday to rent some firearms with my father, and the staff were very courteous and kind. I ended up having a very good experience with all of the rentals as they were all well maintained and clean.

The only exception would be the standard 10/22, which had a fair amount of malfunctions. The store has some of the best organization I've ever seen in any gun store. I loved the handgun rotunda, especially, as it gave me a chance to manipulate and dry fire a few.

The ranges were very well lit and well staffed. Huge shout out to the employee and Range Saftey Officer named Jon. He worked with us when we used the MPX, and he was very friendly and kind. I loved this store and range, and will return as much as I can!

My wife's and my experience at ShootersWorld@The Villages has been completely positive. From the Pistol Craft classes instructed by Jim , the Concealed Carry Class instructed by Hugh, to helpful Customer Service on the floor and online, everyone has been outstanding. The range is professionally run with attentive safety officers. Quality service from the gunsmith has been done promptly. Everyone is helpful.

I went to a class at the Villages location. Hugh was my instructor. This was exactly what I was looking for as a new shooter. Hugh was patient, professional, kind, engaging and extremely knowledgeable. The class only had two of us, so it was more like a private lesson. I already signed up for a private lesson and a concealed carry class. Highly recommend to anyone!

I've been a member of Shooters World since September of this year, and it's been a great experience so far. It's the best range that I've ever been to. I recently took the Concealed Carry License Class with the instructor named Patrick, and he did an excellent job. I should know, I taught similar firearms classes in Texas.

Our kids enjoy their 1st Gun Safety for Kids Class today, the instructor Mr. Hugh was amazing, my boys learn so much and loved. It’s a very good class for every kids to know about safety.

Absolutely one of the best training experiences I have ever had! Went Sat 1/6/24 for the 2pm class. Instructor was knowledgeable and kept the class engaged. If you want to feel safe on the line this is the gentleman you want. I learned quite a bit in the few hours I was there. If you are considering any type of firearms training go to Shootersworld.

My only complaint is not having the mandatory video/ipad sign in/Safety lecture not be in multiple languages. However, we made due, and the Safety Ranger knew our language and made ours a great experience. Thanks for making a great/fun/safe experience and learning location for us.

I took my grandson to Shooters World today and it was a great experience. The facility is first class and so were all the folks who worked there. Everyone was very patient and helpful. Will definitely go back.

I have been a pleased Member of Shooters World/Villages for 3 years. As a Senior, I visit it almost daily.The staff is always friendly and helpful. Especially helpful are the Range Safety Officers (RSOs), they seem to go out of their way to help mobility challenged Seniors on the firing line. If a Senior needs a chair to rest on, or a stool to sit on while they shoot their rifle, RSOs sense that need and provide timely assistance. That kindness is always appreciated by the many Seniors at the range and truly makes their day.The Gunsmith and Sales/Counter Staff are top notch. The cleanliness throughout the public area is impeccable. This range and all it's Staff are 5 Star. UNQUESTIONABLE!

Shooters world just doesn't miss. From Orlando, to Tampa, to the villages. I had an amazing time zeroing my new vortex sight after having it mounted at Shooters World. Everyone is just as friendly as the next and the amount of expertise in any Shooters world is just impressive.

Had training and tried guns at Shooters World. the instructor was wonderful, the facility was top notch and all the employees were professional. i highly recommend this place. My wife and I appreciated the professionalism and safety precautions.

My partner had an extremely professional ranger. The rental kept jamming and it was handled properly. The location is gorgeous and large. Sound was very minimal when not in the lane. Would go again for a private lesson.
