Padow's Hams & Deli

This was my first time visiting Padow's. I have heard of them in the past. Now that they are literally around the corner from my office, I decided to give them a try.

The menu reminds me of a good old fashioned corner deli that is very common up north. A good selection of sandwiches, soups and a dessert case. I had the#55 Virginian, which was a club with ham, cheese and turkey with choice of bread and cheese. I chose wheat, toasted, and Swiss. I didn't regret my decision. This was a sandwich packed with meat and flavor! There were also two pickle spears on the side.

The service was fast and friendly. I had to step outside to take a phone call while I was waiting and the gentleman at the register bought my bag out to me when I was ready.

I highly recommend Padow's. Support local!

I have been going to Padows for my HS and peanuts (plus other delicious stuff) for over 40 years. Their country ham is just the best you can find. The sandwiches in their shops are outstanding and the people are just the best. Highly recommend this old Richmond family deli.

Just found this little hole in the wall gem last week . I've eaten there 3 times now and all their sammiches are ridiculously amazing. My new go to for lunch!

Ordered takeout sandwiches and they tasted very good, but I am sure they would have tasted even better in-house. But beyond the food, I was very impressed by the crew that ran the place.

I am going to get in trouble for any word I use, but I am thankful for the efforts of the experienced gentlemen who were putting in a hard day's work. I am always inspired and hope I can work just as hard throughout my life. KUDOS!

Padows Hams & Deli has closed our Cox Road location in Innsbrook and Moved to 11000 Washington Hwy in Glen Allen! Look for Hanover Sports Park next to James River Winery!

I've always loved Padow's. Used to eat at the city hall one several times a month. I make sure to stop by whenever I'm in town. Great food. Great service. The New Yorker is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Add on some Maui Onion chips and a root beer, and I'm one happy camper

Padow’s tastes very good, yall. Super solid sandos, big yummy ones. All the stuff you want - Reuben’s, Rachel’s, Clubs, pastrami, Virginia Ham - all priced very fairly. Most sides are only $0.99 - potato salad, pickles, fresh fruit, it’s all good. Probably my new favorite for some deli classics in the wesside!

This brings back the original experience of a REAL Deli. I recommend the Club sandwich. The pickles are off the hook.
The food is amazing, the restaurant is clean, the staff is happy and friendly, oh and the prices are splendid as are the serving sizes.
There are gifts of all kinds of gourmet food goodies and even gift cards.
I am so happy we stopped for a bite while traveling through Virginia.

Let me begin by saying, no matter if you're going out to a nice restaurant, grocery shopping to cook at home or just grabbing a VERY GOOD sandwich, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PRIORITY! My best friend hadn't ever been to Padows so for lunch I suggested we try it out.....WOW....5star customer service!!!! My friend was in his zone meeting and speaking with good hearted down to earth people! So HUGE SMILES ALL AROUND

Delicious food all around and Pizza you'll return for many times. A nice draft beer selection goes well with their offerings.
There are always great seasonal gift choices and specialty baskets available in the heart of their deli.
Good entertainment is to be had on Thursday evenings.

Our go to place for lunch when in Richmond. Fast, friendly and clean. Great variety and will customize anything you order. Best seven layer chocolate cake . A must have !!

Always friendly, courteous service. The food is usually just as we ordered but if not they are quick to fix it and very apologetic. The food is tasty, fresh and nicely presented! It is our favorite lunch spot to eat in or take out!

Still selling Richmond's, Celebrity Room greasy pizza, and that's a good thing. Took my 93 3/4 yr old mother there for lunch today because she loved Celebrity Room pizza. It was delicious. She enjoyed it with her Miller Light draft, then she purchased a couple of ready-made, country ham rolls to take home for dinner.

Great sandwiches, soups. Lot of people don't realize they serve foods and it's great place to go for lunch. The food is good and price is reasonable. Padows is not just a store that you go to at Thanksgivings and Christmas to get your Ham. It's a lot more.

Friendly staff that knows us and greets us by name whenever we stop by! Good ole fashioned deli sandwiches at good prices. Nice quiet atmosphere, great place to have a good relaxing lunch.
