Spartans Family Restaurant

We really enjoyed it! The food was super good and came out quick. We got there right before a big rush and got a seat right away. We had the gyro and chicken souvlaki! Great tasting! Also the fries were really good and crisp!

I just really love this place and their sister establishment by Fort Belvoir Olympians. They just really do quality food. I particularly enjoy the Greek potatoes. Some of my favorite things are the chicken Slovaki platter, the pork chops, the salmon, and there's a chicken sandwich that they have with balsamic glaze that I really like. Never really extensive menu with something for everyone and I've never had a bad thing in either restaurant. I encourage you to try it. It's a good place where you get good value for your money.

Great, fast, friendly service. Amazing food. We had to try the feta fries appetizer, so good. The salad was excellent. For the main course I shared the Gyro and Pastrami sub with my wife, both really really good. The kidos had fish and chips, and chicken with veggies. Both of them loved it. We made it home and ate the rest for dinner (happily ordered way too much)

Food is exceptional, reminds me of quality dining on my trips to Manhattan. And the prices are quite reasonable, and in fact, low by today’s post-inflation standards. They are holding the line on pricing at Spartans, and delivering top-quality food to their customers! Will be returning soon!

We've been dining in and doing take out from Spartan's Family Restaurant for years and we're always satisfied. The amount of food you get for the price is excellent. We haven't tried many of the Greek dishes but the Italian dishes are our favorites, Chicken Cacciatore, Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, pizza, etc. You can't go wrong at this family owned restaurant.

What an incredible place! Staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing (I was stuffed and had enough for tomorrow's lunch to take home). Their coffee was amazing and plentiful

Great food and good service. The flatbread and the challah Nutella French toast were both on point. Very good service all around. I was pretty impressed at the high quality of two very very different dishes.

Food did come out a little slow but we were there at the peak of Sunday brunch so bring your patience if it takes awhile. They brought out the mimosas first though so we weren’t hurting.

Spartan’s is a lovely restaurant. The exterior is a bit deceiving. From the outside it appears to be a run of the mill fast food shop. But inside the ambiance is surprisingly pleasant.

The food is DELICIOUS. It sincerely tastes like eating authentically from Mama’s kitchen. Even the pasta alone is spectacular!🍝

Excellent family Greek restaurant. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Large portions, good prices. Authentic Greek dishes. Moussaka, spanakopita, gyros, souvlaki. Hard to find in this area. I think I just made myself hungry and will be there for lunch today. The gyro bowl is calling my name.

Great service, good local eatery for American, Greek and Italian fare. Always a friendly face to welcome you. We enjoyed the pizza, gyro, chicken parmesan and reuben.Thank you Spartans you never disappoint.

Nice place, hot seated quick, waitress very nice, food took a bit of time but it was worth it. Big portions for cheaper price! I ordered the gyro. Would recommend.

I recently got Spartans for lunch, I made a minor complaint which I’m sure most restaurants receive…I was absolutely astonished by their customer service! They resolved my problem and they went above and BEYOND. Not only is their customer service amazing but their food is DELICIOUS! Favorite Greek place in the area!

Lovely family owned place with very regular customers. Some wait staff have been there for decades. Good food, reasonably priced. Definitely a local family cornerstone.

I think I remember my first time going to Spartans- it was probably 2000 or ‘01 and it had been recommended to my family. It quickly became a family favorite, and we’d go probably once a month!

Well, I’ve been out of the area for a long time and I’ve been hankering for one of their gyros for awhile (a quick aside: it is pronounced “yee-row” and if you pronounce it differently, you’re just being disrespectful) I happened to be passing through, and I thought “let’s do it”.

Listen, it is so good. Nobody else can compare. The meat is perfectly crispy, cut at the right thickness, and so moist. The ingredients are pretty high quality and the tzatziki is incredible.

My girlfriend got the Greek wings, which had a lemon sauce and feta, which were delicious. She also had the spanakopita, which I didn’t try, but she raved about- and backed up by family members.

There’s a reason this place is packed, we were there from the end of the early bird crowd to the middle of post-thanksgiving family dinner crowd, and every table was full, and there was lots of takeout traffic. The decor has barely changed in two decades, it really shows that the food is more important.

This place is legendary.

This is a great restaurant with a wide range of delicious food! The staff is very nice and there's lots of seating options. This is just a very friendly place. I got a gyro here the other day and before that, a grilled cheese. I want to visit here for breakfast soon, but that is only available on the weekend.
