The best fried rice I’ve ever had! Don’t let the color of the rice fool you, it’s full of flavor! I used to visit Santa Rosa frequently and I would always order delivery or take out from this place. Their hot and sour soup is really good too. I haven’t been to Santa Rosa in a few months, but I would definitely make the drive from Sacramento just for the rice haha.

Always a favorite! I recommend the lemon chicken, veggie chow mein, and potstickers. Always try to stop by when visiting from out of town; Chinese food in my area doesn't compare

Always been going here for years since I was a kid. My family and I always enjoy the food here and the people. Always interesting to see how it change over the years. One of my favorite places to go to eat on special occasions. Great place!

Pleasant and very friendly place! In a shopping center. Excellent choices. plus they were happy to make a special vegetable dish that was not on the menu for us. It felt very welcoming there. I noticed a number a regular customers came because the owners knew them. Let's not forget the food; we had a vegetable dish, a black bean chicken dish and a vegetable chow fun dish. All really good and good portions.

We've been told by a number of people how good the food is at Kirin. We came for lunch and they were right. The lunch menu has lots of choices and each is a complete meal. The service was very friendly and orders came quickly even thou it was busy. Meals were very fresh with great flavors and not greasy at all. We plan on coming back to try other choices.

The restaurant has been there over 40 yrs. and still very good. Each flavor stands out. Unlike some Chinese places where the food all takes on the same taste. It's just a cut above all else. I've honestly never had a bad meal here.

Best. Chinese. Ever. I love the combination fried rice and hot and sour soup! Alex and Thomas are the best and Kirin is doing well under new ownership. Great family sit down restaurant with fast, friendly service. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I have been enjoying the best Chinese food in Santa Rosa at Kirin restaurant for well over a decade. Usually, we use their take-out service and are never, ever disappointed. Their kitchen prepares dishes which are consistently delicious and obviously of high quality. Their prices are quite reasonable considering the excellence of all the dishes we've ever tried. Our favorite appetizers are their deep fried prawns, their pot stickers and vegetable eggrolls - absolutely delightful - a real treat. Their Mongolian beef is not to be missed! Please enjoy - as do we.

A nice dining experience, with delicious Chinese food that is prepared with fresh ingredients, and abundance of flavor. Service was very attentive and always helpful. The hostess was very sweet and kind and greeted us with a warm smile.

We've eaten at Kirin for lunch and dinner and have always found the service and food very satisfactory.
On one wet, chilly day, I was especially grateful to be offered a table and a pot of hot tea while waiting for a take out order. Last Christmas, we chose Kirin for the annual Christmas Eve dinner we host for our children and grandchildren. Because it's a large group, we made a reservation for an early meal to avoid the crowd and the possibility of a long wait. Our table was ready when we arrived and we could not have been happier with any of the many dishes or the friendly, efficient service. Both the hot and sour and won ton soups were given high ratings and each of the dishes that followed arrived fragrant and sizzling hot. We've enjoyed Chinese food at several excellent San Francisco restaurants and also visit Royal China in Santa Rosa. Kirin is not the most formal option, but it measures up well to a high standard.

Their credit machine wasn't functioning, so they gave me my food & are trusting I will come back to pay!!! That's amazing & the foods great too! Great egg rolls & veggie chose me in. Definitely recommend it!!👏

First year resident in Santa Rosa and have visited several Asian restaurants with Kirin now being my Top Choice. Had their appitizer House Sampler for Two with hibachi - delicious; every item perfectly cooked , , , almost a full meal in itself. Saved address on my GPS for definite return trip.

I usually judge a Chinese restaurant by it's hot and sour soup. Kirin was on point with it! The service staff was friendly and attentive. They did not hover, but never allowed our drinks to empty. They just knew what we needed and was on top of it. I really enjoyed our experience at kirin.

This is the best Chinese food I've ever had. It might be why I'm always skeptical about other places, because this is my (high) standard on which I rate everything else! My favorites are the pineapple walnut prawns, lemon catfish and the cheesy crab puffs, but everything I've tried there is good (sweet & sour pork, Mongolian beef, mushu pork...)

We’ve eaten here for probably 25 years. New owners have kept up the quality. My favorite dishes are Mongolian Beef, their soups, noodles, rices and potstickers!!!

I've eaten here 2-3 times a year for 10-15 years. During that entire time: Always good Chinese Food, pleasant surroundings and prompt, friendly attentive service.

I've been coming here for the past 15 years and no Chinese restaurant in Santa Rosa compares. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Great flavors, a true taste buds celebration.

I've only eaten here once, but will definitely be back! Generous portions, fresh veggies, flavorful sauces.

My family has eaten at Kirin's for many years. Their food has always been fantastic. All the employees are gracious and friendly. Their Wor Wan Ton soup will cure all colds!
