Last year, I received some great advice about updating my existing, expiring life insurance policy to a Level II Plus Term policy. During this process, I experienced some minor difficulties accessing my policy and documents online. Thankfully, customer service was excellent, and I was able to receive the information I needed to make a good decision very promptly through phone calls and emails. Shortly after, I provided feedback about my difficulties and recommended some changes to accessibility on the Navy Mutual website. Literally all of my concerns appear to have been implemented, making it so much easier to monitor my policy and payments. Whether these changes were made based on my feedback or the collective feedback of other clients, these improvements have been noticed and are much appreciated.

If you're a veteran who needs some insurance, Navy Mutual is the group for you. Their public contact staff is great! I really enjoyed working with them, especially Tabitha, on email and on the phone. They responded quickly to all my questions and issues so I got good coverage at a great rate and the process was fast. The only sad thing is I didn't sign on with them years and years ago and now I wish I had.

As a 67 year-old male, I didn’t expect to be able to purchase a high dollar (>$100K) life insurance policy at reasonable rates. My existing policy was expiring, and the carrier had offered to renew it, but at an astonishingly high premium (almost 20 times the existing premium!).
I called Navy Mutual, was offered a tentative premium, based on the results of an exam and interview, went through the very convenient process, and they stood by the low offered premium. I never thought I could obtain a life insurance policy with such low premiums effective until I will be well into my 80’s... Thank you Navy Mutual!!!

A sales representative took the time to make sure that I understood the process for getting approval. He also discussed with me the different Life Insurance Plans. First he scheduled an appointment for me over the phone to discuss the benefit plans for Veterans. I was allowed time to discuss these benefits with my family with no pressure & the Navy Mutual is very affordable. I will also like to say thank you Mr. Tim Sturgis for making this a simple process with no pressure at all.

I never heard about Navy Mutual until searching online for whole life insurance.
Staff was always polite and so helpful. They answered all my questions immediately. Some insurance companies I spoke with spend more time bragging about there company and don’t tell you about hidden fees. Navy Mutual beat all other insurance companies cost and there contract is not confusing. I would definitely recommend Navy Mutual to any service member or family member.

As I approached my 75 birthday, I realized the cost of continuing term Veterans Group Life Insurance was becoming very expensive and wondered if there were a better way to invest my money. There was thanks to Navy Mutual. I updated my Navy Mutual whole life and got a total higher face value, and growth, for less annual outlay than continuing with VGLI. Older Navy Mutual aid members may wish to do at 55 what I did at 75. They, and their beneficiaries, may be much better off financially. Thanks Ed Taylor for the help making the changes.
