Gather in Jackson Hole for Food & Drink

We had a very nice time here. We were celebrating a special occasion. Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. We ordered the Bison Short Ribs, Ssamjang Marinated Ribeye Steak, Lexington BBQ Shrimp with fried mushroom polenta cake, Winter Kale Salad, Pork Buns, The Gather Burger with a pile of fries (love fries with the skins on 😋).
We ordered 1 Peanut Butter Cheesecake, which was enough for 6 people as we were full, but wanted to try 🍰 dessert 😋😋😋.

This place has a cool atmosphere and a good location just a few blocks from rhe main square. The service was good and so was the food, I got the bison short ribs and they were a tiny bit dry. But still good and everyone else enjoyed their meal.

This is likely one of the best restaurants in Jackson. Every dish was excellent. Bartender was attentive and efficient. Food arrived quickly. Atmosphere was warm and felt inclusive.

This was the best meal I’ve had in a while and definitely while in Jackson. Compared to other places nearby, I felt the price(s) were warranted here. We truly loved everything we ordered and were sad we didn’t have an opportunity to come a second time. Everything from service, atmosphere, decor, accuracy and food quality, was excellent!

We had some of the best meals we’ve had recently. This Has to be one of the best restaurants in Jackson.

The service was impeccable. And the atmosphere was very nice.

The black rice and pork belly in the forbidden bowl was a Mouth orgasm.

The red trout was cooked so perfectly that you’ll want to eat it with the skin on. I never eat the skin on fish.

What a cute find while staying here in Jackson! Delicious Asian inspired plates like the forbidden rice and even the pork shank. Brussels are a must, but they give you a lot and it's very heavy on the oil (which just makes it taste so good). I do like how the main dishes we got could all be wraps and dips. Also, the kids cheeseburger looked like a full adult portion. I can't wait to come back to try a few more dishes on the menu. Definitely make a reservation!

Great food with a cozy atmosphere. Elk bolognese was a highlight for sure. Service was spot on. Flourless chocolate cake wasn't as expected, like a sandwich, but also good!

Crispy Brussels- PHENOMENAL! Perfect balance of savory with some acid, crispy and tender
Pork buns - good but no Ippudo!
Korean Prime Striploin - meat cooked perfectly med-rare. Fried rice was a dud and didn’t add to the dish.
Pork Shank - Wow! Sooo good! A bit of heat from the peppers but not overpowering.

Apps came out really quickly and service was good. Server didn’t ask if we wanted dessert so we skipped that but would have ordered the chocolate cake.

In and out in an hour. Definitely make reservations or take your chances at the bar.

I love the food at gather. One of my fav places in town… Angelina was really sweet with us, she did offer many options and she was really informed about the menu.

We had the pork buns, bolognese and trout all three were amazing! Food is priced fairly and the service is good. If you’re staying in the area I would highly recommend.

My party of 4 had an incredible experience at Gather in Jackson Hole. The food was incredible. My table had the fried chicken(image below), pork shank, and the elk bolognese. No one was disappointed. I don’t think you can go wrong with any dish here. My favorite part was the dessert. It was a flour free Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream(image below).
Also, our waitress Alexandra was exceptional. She had great recommendations and was very attentive. All other staff were great. I can’t wait to get to go again.

We visited Gather three years ago on a trip to Jackson and loved it so much, we returned a second night. We returned to Jackson this year with six of us total. We went to Gather our first and last nights. Dinner was amazing both times. We were especially impressed at the second visit. Lorena was our server. She warned us that a large party was being served so things might come out a little slower. Nothing came out slowly and she checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend Gather enough!

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here very much. My husband had the Korean marinated steak and it was probably the best thing we ate on the entire trip. SO good! My bison was also good but his was better. Enjoyed the wine selection especially the local choices from Jackson Hole Winery. My favorite part of the experience was when they brought the check! It came in a book and customers had written messages. I LOVED THAT! very clever.

Our bill before tip came out to $123.12. My husband and I ended up getting the Fried chicken, pork buns, flourless chocolate tort, huckleberry mule, a side of broccolini, white peach daquri, and sweet corn curry... everything was delicious and our waitress was amazing.

Awesome eating experience in Jackson. Little bit European style - not US-Western- or Burger-like at all. We had a very young but absolutely pro lady serving us. A bit pricey, but very OK for what we got!

Gather was a great serendipitous find on our travels through Wyoming. The service is absolutely excellent, and the food is even better. I split an elk Bolognese and Curry, and both were scrumptious. The Bolognese is full of robust flavor, balanced by the noodles, and the Curry is probably some of the best I've had. The vegetables really make the dish, and the flavors are well bodied. If the person I was splitting the dish with liked shrimp, I would have added that instead of chicken.

Drinks are also great - had a Black Hole Sun and Whisky Smash. Former is certainly unique, and a beautifully balanced drink. We liked it so much we had to ask for the recipe, which the Bartender (or mixologist, whatever they prefer) was kind enough to provide. Whisky Smash is also good, if slightly basil forward.

If I'm ever back in Jackson, I'll have to come again. Thanks for the great service, McClain.

We picked Gather to dine in based on the strength of its menu in offering updated take on new American classic and we were not let down at all.

The main highlights for us were the Wagyu Beef Tartare, Caesar Salad, and Butterscotch Cheesecake.
- the Wagyu Beef Tartare, what can I say. I think for me this was the perfect tartare. With most tartare, restaurants tend to either aggressively season it to mask the rawness of the beef and/or aggressively dress it to again mask or overpower the flavors. Here, they did it just perfectly in a way that allows you to actually taste the beef but also confident enough to add its own character to the dish AND highlight the beef flavors. The best tartare I’ve ever had.

- Caesar salad: I’m sure most ppl like me were thinking “oh great another drab salad” when I saw this. But as an addict of Caesar salad and the fact that this had anchovies, I had to try it. This was anything but drab. It’s perfectly smart the way they incorporated crispy fish skins to add to the “croutons” and the ability to balance the dressing with the rest of the dish. It’s the smartest Caesar salad I’ve had and definitely the tastiest.

- Butterscotch cheesecake with coffee glaze: I…i was left speechless and weak. I cannot help go on and on about this cheesecake. Like again, it’s perfectly balanced and so light to eat. The slight bitterness from the coffee complemented the sweetness of the butterscotch in such a delicate way that made you want to eat the entire batch. It’s 100% worth the calories. Bravo to the chef who made it because this was so excellent.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST WHEN IN JACKSON HOLE. We stumbled upon this restaurant and I am so glad we did. It’s highly encouraged to make reservations, as we were a walk in and could only be accommodated at the bar, which was totally fine with us. Not only was the service great, the food was absolutely amazing. Being from New york, we have extremely high standards when it comes to food. This place checked all of our boxes. Our waitress/bartender was absolutely incredible, really attentive and super nice. Our food came out so quick and tasted delicious. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and the mushroom toast to start and we were absolutely in awe. The flavor combinations were incredible as well as the presentation. For our main courses, we got the salmon and the bison. Both of which were in the most delectable sauces ever. We also ordered the bone marrow fried rice and it was absolutely to die for. I promise you will be so happy after eating here. Will definitely be coming back!

Very good dining experience. Outside seating after sunset was nice. Reservation is recommended . Nice diverse menu to please every palate. Food preparation looks good. Food taste good, fresh and with proper portion. We tried the cold potato soup. The Trout, already deboned, perfectly cooked. The fried rice with an egg on top. Local drought beer. Everything good. Server was good and prepared. Chef is Iron Chef winner.

From the time we checked in at the front hostess stand, we knew we had picked the right place! The food was delicious from apps to spirits...the Jackson Donut Holes were outstanding! But better than anything else was the service and hospitality from Beyza, cocktails made by Brian (try the Old Fashioned and the Mezcalrita), food recommendations by Griffin and VIP treatment from Itai. The staff is what makes the experience even better than the phenomenal food.
