The Jackson SouthTown Motel

Delivered here in a 73' semi truck. Can be intimidating if you are a newer driver.
Enter through main entrance then park to the left side. Check in at office. Office personel are extremely polite and as helpful as they can be.
You will need to touch base with someone in charge of delivery, this is essential to your sanity as most workers on the current project are not english speakers and it can cause some chaos.
They will likely have you move clockwise around the buildings. Take your time and use your space.
Try not to damage the beautiful trees.
Getting out is tight but can be done with tandems set at 40' from kingpin. Too much snow for me to slide mine forward. So i did it at 40.
Make sure that the parking spaces in front of the office are clear of vehicles because you will NEED the space to avoid the tree on your left as you exit.
You will need to bring the nose all the way up to the fence as you are exiting and then correct to the left as you are just clear of the tree. Do this inside the lot and outside to maximize your space.
Again... use ALL of your space!

Wonderful stay! Somebody took an old Motel 6 and completely renovated it with a cool, retro, modern vibe. The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, and most importantly it was affordable for Jackson. They don’t price gouge you like the other hotels do.
It is a renovated vintage hotel, so the rooms are compact, but very clean and modern, and they did a great job accommodating two full size beds with good linens.

The people leaving bad reviews on this place, are either idiots who can’t be pleased or paid by the other hotels to affect their ratings.
Don’t believe them. This place is great!

This place was recently renovated and went through a rebrand. Every hotel interaction I had was very favorable and every employee took the time to treat me with patience and kindness. While this isn’t in downtown Jackson it is still right off the main highway through town and close to Whole Foods/Target and a few restaurants. I will definitely be staying here next time i’m in town.

THE LOWEST RATE IN ALL OF JACKSON - as far as we could find. The five stars are based primarily on price and cleanliess. Jackson is NOT the town you want to have an auto issue/breakdown/delay in, but this hotel made the blow a little better.
Front desk - Carlos is the man!! He was stacked with calls and a line in the lobby and was very professional in multi-multi tasking
Room - not a speck or spot anywhere
Bed - surprisingly comfy
Sound - very peaceful
A/C unit - worked great
Linens - all very, very clean

Great stay! Recently renovated rooms were comfortable and clean. Shout out to Carlos at the front desk. Best value in Jackson for sure.

Staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. Had a hiccup with the system checking in but staff went above and beyond to get us in our room. Prices are best in town. Highly recommend

I do not understand some of the bad reviews. This is Jackson Hole - prices are high everywhere! This was a good price ! Yes, the room is small but super clean and just renovated. I would definitely stay again. I didn’t expect a breakfast for $200 night in Jackson. Carlos was wonderful and helped me with a cancelation when United canceled my flight.

I stay here often for work and they are very accommodating to everyone. Front desk is always Friendly and helpful.

This is a great location to stay if you are exploring The Tetons. We drove from Bozeman and stayed here for two nights. The hotel is close to the grocery store and close to downtown for shopping and food. The room itself was clean and cozy after long days hiking. The only part I was not too fond of was the shower in our room. It was a stand up shower with a curtain, so not much room. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The room has a refrigerator, which was nice. The price was high, but fair for that area. I will stay here again.

We really enjoyed this small motel room with it's tasteful redecoration. The fridge did not freeze our food, which is very rare, and the modular storage units in the bathroom were awesome. We loved the shower and spacious bathroom. Everything was very nicely appointed and clean. We have not stayed in a Motel 6 before but realize that this one is in rare very nice condition. I would stay again if the price remains relatively low. We paid about $80.

Although this is an old motel, they have it in good repair. It is clean and the beds are comfy. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The property is only a block or so from the main downtown, so very convenient for walking. It's not fancy, but if you are looking for a safe, clean place to sleep that is conveniently located, this is it! Definitely would stay here again if back in town.

I was very nervous to stay at a Motel 6, because in past experiences they have been very dirty. This Motel 6 exceeded my low expectations! It was very impressed with how clean our entire room was. I felt very comfortable in our room and was overall very happy with our stay. The front staff was very nice and helpful as well.

This Motel 6 is definitely one of the nicest in the chain. The room was comfortable and very clean...the room smelled sanitized! The front desk staff were very friendly and were happy to accommodate my request for a late checkout. They were getting the pool ready for the season and its location in a grassy courtyard makes it look like a nice place to chill on a warm Wyoming day. I'd highly recommend this location.

Fantastic customer service, pleasant booking and check in. They have a great clean room that was perfect for my mom and I. That being said the rooms are small, we used just about ever surface we could to set things on. (We had about 2 weeks worth of luggage though) although I did think if you have little ones the room would feel a lot smaller.

Great location just minutes away from the square and great restaurants! I recommend Guns and Barles steakhouse.

All and all perfect for us.

Although we make a point to stay in hotels, the price of other nearby hotels was super expensive, and not many of the other hotels even had availability (we did book last minute). The motel exceeded my expectations for a motel 6. We were glad to be able to bring one of our dogs along. Room was clean, bathroom was spacious enough. Beds were really comfortable. We had an excellent experience.

From the staff at check-in, to the hard-working souls to upkeep the rooms and the landscaping… A great spot to stay in Jackson! Every staff member I interacted with was genuine, personable & fun to talk to!

Is it the fanciest and most up-to-date motel chain? No. What is it affordable and the cozy stay? Absolutely!

Would absolutely stay here again!

My travel partner and I needed to find a dog-friendly hotel at the last minute and settled on the Motel 6 because it was the only place available on a Friday night in July. We had low expectations that were completely blown out of the water by this property. It is clean, well-appointed, and the hardwood (laminate?) floors in our guest room were exactly what you'd want when traveling with a pet. The staff was attentive, the location was good (not close to the town square but an easy drive), the parking lot was well lit, the pool looked like fun, and the room was not large but perfect for the two of us in two beds. Don't sell this Motel 6 short. It will definitely meet and likely exceed your expectations.

Small room, but delightful. Reminded me of rooms I've seen on travel shows. Because of less unnecessary furniture, there is more usable space. Love the television set into the wall. The shower is nice: great to not have to step in and out of a tub, and the bathroom feels very spacious. Especially for 25% less expensive than some of the other motels/hotels, this was a great value.

Our room was nice and clean. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We were provided with amenities that we needed that were not normally provided in each room such as a blow dryer, iron, ironing board and Kleenex. We usually like a bigger room but for a one night stay it work out great. Good location. Thanks Judith & Alexandrea
