Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

We visited for the first time today and I became immediately obsessed!
It was a clean, pleasant atmosphere. The incredibly patient fella behind the register was great! Friendly, effective, efficient. He answered my questions and was super patient while I tried to absorb everything! The menu is awesome because it's not too much but it's also SO MUCH?! ya know? (Heart eyes!!!) Tons of sandwiches! My husband got their roast beef and horseradish sammy called KGB and it was great! The flavors were good and married well. It wasn't an overload of a bunch of stuff that didn't go. It was simple and well done! The pickles were super yummy!
The not-chos! THE NOT-CHOS FRANCINE!!! They are so good and I cannot wait to try them with chicken next time! I was worried the Doritos would be stale or soggy but absolutely not! Cheba Hut putting them in the oven somehow made the Doritos EVEN BETTER!? How?! Idk. But the ranch on them was out of this world! This ranch is on the left hand side of the / if you know what I mean. Lol.
My husband really enjoyed the garlic cheese bread. The marinara sauce evaporated rather quickly, it seemed. Lol.
My comfort food is French onion soup. But I'm stuck up about it. I decided to take a chance and order it when I saw it on their "munchies" menu boy am I glad that I did!!!! The most delicious! Flavorful! Rich yet lighter! Luscious onion soup. I will be back for that by the dang gallon next Christmas.
Ok I will stop rambling but please go try it! (For some reference context: I am autistic and very picky. Textures are important to me and so is things tasting like they should. My husband is a meat and taters kind of guy and he loved the food.)

Trying new places to see if I can find a new favorite. 🤔 This was a great win. The service was easy and quick to order and only waited maybe 5 to 10 min to get my sandwiches (to go) and back outta there. Nice place with bar as well. Girlfriend wasn't pleased but my sandwich was fire.....will so go back again for more.

I got The Kind in an 8in sub and it was great. I didn't feel as full so next time I will get the 12in size. Everything tasted fresh. The customer service was great too.

I like how their website shows pictures of every item so I know exactly what I'm getting.

There is retail parking behind the store in the apartment complex. Easy to get to and lots of spots. I'll be back!

First time here and the staff were super nice. The place was very clean and the vibe was great. The food was as tasty like expected. It did take me a few minutes but to figure out why they are called “Toasted Subs”.

The staff was awesome, my friends and I came on a whim because it was one of the only open places and had a great time! The staff was amazing and the theme is funny, food was good too 👍

I love their sandwiches especially with the garlic bread they make it with! Their drinks are really good as well, all of the employees are so nice and helpful. I love the atmosphere and vibe I definitely recommend!

We love Cheba Hut!! I always get the Cali Mist, hubby always mixes it up with the local favorites, and our son always gets a cold salami sandwich. Their pretzel bits and munchies are a nice treat. It’s always so consistent and delicious. Our favorite subs hands down. Everything is always fresh and we’ve never gotten an unfavorable order. We drive over 25 minutes just to come to Denton for these subs. The place is usually clean including the bathrooms. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. The vibes are great and the service is also great.

This place is it. HP (like the computer) took real good care of me and my scrumpdiddlyupmtious custom buffalo chicken sub. 100% coming back - they even got a bar and live music.

This place rules! I live 4 min away, and after my first time trying it Sunday, I went back for more the next day for lunch! Sunday I got the 5-0 and added banana peppers. It was awesome! And Monday I got the Kali Mist (spicy club). It also ruled (and wasn’t too spicy). I got the 12 inch version each time. One thing that makes Cheba Hut stick out (besides all the * w e e d * references) is all their sandwiches are toasted. They also all come with Parmesan cheese (“shake”) sprinkled on the inside of the sandwich. And you can get garlic bread for your bread! And they put a pickle spear inside each 6 inch part of the sandwich. And the sandwiches come with a house oil and vinegar dressing. I can’t wait to go back!

I ordered the sensi kush sandwich and it was phenomenal. Workers and atmosphere was nice. only critique is that it was very chilly. Otherwise though, the food was so so good and we didn’t have to wait long. Great pit stop if you’re driving up or down 35.

I went to cheba hut for a late night meal since I had not been feeling well enough to cook. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff was amazing despite me coming in 30 minutes before closing. Also, I’m not sure of the employee’s name but they gave me a sample of their pretzel bites and let me just say, they’re WONDERFUL. I will most definitely be coming back :)

My first visit I didn’t know what to expect. I order a small sandwich, salad, and drink. It was the best sandwich probably that I have ever had! I was going to eat later and was just going to eat light, but went back and ordered same salad and sandwich again and canceled later dinner order at another place. I will definitely be back!

Great to see this place here. We enjoyed it when we were in Colorado but I have to say this is one of my new favorite sandwich places. What makes it is the incredibly fresh ingredients. Fresh jalapeños, onions, and even avocados were perfect. Don’t miss out on the light toasted garlic sandwich bread!

Haley is a wonderful spokesperson with excellent service! Very knowledgeable on the food, amazing customer service, and kind/friendly personality. She’s conversational, attentive, and I recommend her going forward! 😌💯

My husband and I came here during the day for a lunch date about a month ago. I keep forgetting to post a review, but we really love this place!!

The people that work here are so nice! The guy that took our order at the register was super friendly and patient with us as first timers. The bartender was lovely - it was her first day behind the bar and the guy from the register was training her - we had a couple of shots that were good. They gave us free stickers, rolling papers, and a coupon for zebrahead. Even the cook that brought our food was nice!

The music was great and I was able to pick up a few new songs for my Spotify - bartender told us it was the cook's Spotify list that was playing (wish I would've gotten his account to follow for more music recommendations, but figured that would be creepy so I didn't ask lol).

I am vegetarian, so I got the Power Plant. My husband is not vegetarian. I told him the White Widow was a fan favorite from reviews, and he said he was definitely not having that. He hemmed and hawed over the AK-47 and the 5-0 for a while trying to decide, but then ended up ordering the White Widow and he loved it lol.

Anyway, ambiance of the place was great, very relaxed and easy going. Good food, kind people - 100/10 experience and couldn't recommend it enough. Next time we're in Denton we'll definitely be having Cheba Hut. ❤

I love Cheba Hut!! Their Kali Must is my favorite sandwich here. Everyone needs to try out! Definitely the best sandwich place in Denton:)
