Campagna Italian Kitchen + Wine Bar

Excellent food. Definitely the best we’ve had in Farmville! We were the last ones there so the pictures don’t have other guests, but the place was full when we arrived.

I have had the pleasure of visiting both the restaurant & the wine bar. Both exceeded expectations. Date night in the restaurant was quiet and intimate. The bread is to-die-for. Our pasta dishes were perfect. Girls Night Out in the wine bar was just as great. The knowledgeable staff helped us choose a wine that met all of our tastes and appetizers to complement. Welcome to Farmville! I am glad you are here.

Absolutely the best meal I've ever had in Farmville! I highly recommend the braised short rib.

Really friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

My family of five had a wonderful experience. The staff was knowledgeable and professional, particularly the sommelier. We enjoyed the salad and mozzarella to start. We were disappointed that they were out of the trout on a Saturday night, but the steaks were a delicious alternative. The Bolognese was a big hit too. I would like to see a few more options among the entrees. It's difficult to make reservations when the restaurant is closed. All that said, we will certainly go back.

After a promising first visit to Campagna, I returned over the weekend to be sadly disappointed. The experience started with waitress who could tell me absolutely nothing about the wines on the menu. I ordered the linguine with clams as an appetizer and the grilled veal chop. The linguine was dry and very salty..no trace of the white wine broth I expected. My veal chop arrived lukewarm and was bland and un seasoned and the wild mushrooms listed on the menu were no where to be found. Instead there were generic button mushrooms. My server was rarely seen and left dishes on my table that I had to ask to be removed.

Come on guys...step it up. With the prices of a more upscale restaurant, I would expect better. Farmville has enough mediocre restaurants. We don't need another one.

Love the restaurant but had the filet mignon special the other evening and was it significantly over priced. 36$ for a small cut of filet, 5 ounces or so with half a baked potato and kale as sides. Definitely need to increase the portion size for the price, it’s not like they are serving usda prime beef.

Dear owners, as Italian restauranteurs we raved about Campagna opening in a historical hotel and how great authentic made from scratch cuisine would be in Farmville. It was greatly disappointing to realize that was not the case. Please train your staff to greet and be friendly professionals. HEY GUYS or y'all is not as appropriate as good evening Ladies & Gentlemen. And as far as culinary skills if you need a professional authentic Italian chef to ASSIST YOUR Chef to help train your staff please feel free to let us know. Italian culinary heritage is important and to have the staff know ingredients, where they originate, history of dish, and how it is made is very important to have your identity stand out amoung being the best. Sincerely wish you are able to be successful in creating consistent quality dishes and dining experience. Ps. Telephone needs to be answered in order ti make recommended reservations as advertised.
