KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

I have been here two times now and absolutely love it! The prices are awesome with all you can eat meat! There is a buffet with yummy food and sooo many different dippings and oil to choose from. The area is always clean and the staff is friendly and nice. They are quick to remove plates and change out the grill piece.

A great place if you're looking for Korean-style BBQ (they don't automatically bring banchan to your table although they have some of the typical sides at a sauce bar where you can get up and get those items) or hot pot. They have a wide variety of selections for protein (beef, chicken, pork, or seafood) and even offer vegetables (more selection for hot pot than bbq). Some of the meat slices are thick, at least for the BBQ side, and I get it that for some meat selections that are also shared with hot pot, they're thin cuts and not cut separately as a thick option since that would take more time for the kitchen as well as possibly be an increased operating cost for the restaurant. Everything tastes delicious and yes, you do have to cook it yourself, so if you don't understand the concepts that these restaurants offer with conviviality then I can't help you understand the concept of why roasting marshmallows around a fire or cowboys having a meal around a campfire is and was enjoyable. You have the option to order directly from your server or use the table-side tablet. Compared to other similar restaurants in the region, they are cheaper by as much as 5% compared to the other places. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Really delicious food! It does take effort to cook it all up into yummy goodness but it's always worth the time! Its just a little bit pricey, but I definitely enjoyed the food.

Atmosphere was very inviting when you walked in, I loved when you walked in a stand with snacks was offered while we waited to be seated. Our waitress Danni was really nice and helped to make the experience one to remember. The bar area was clean and stocked. Definitely will go back again.

Everything I had was delicious and fresh. I loved the whole cut and dine right at your table. Great way to learn new cooking ideas. The atmosphere was very nice but busy. Our waiter a as very polite and courteous. He was very helpful on things to try on an off menu. Will definitely be going back!

Sooo... YUMMY!!! Awesome concept, great environment, everyone gets what they want and has fun! There's so many different combinations to try and flavors to mix and match making it perfect for the whole family. We had a family dinner tonight and every single person left slap full and had a great time! Our server Chloe was an absolute sweetheart, attentive, and patient while she answered all our questions, took our orders, and navigated our mixed bunch consisting of 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and a six month old baby. Definitely will be back!!!

We have been to Kpot several times and have loved every experience. Today was no exception. Jay was amazing: extremely attentive and accurate. All of our food came quickly and everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were so high energy. The music selection was wonderful. We will be back soon!!!

We were in town and decided to give KPOT a try. Wait wasn’t too bad for it being dinner time and we’re seated in about 10 minutes. The service and speed of the staff was phenomenal! By the time we got back from getting our sauces the hot pots and meats were already in place! The food and options were great and I highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some K BBQ!

Food was great, but I'll have to come back to try some more of the spice/sauce bar. If you eat here, the portions are AMAZING (it's AYCE after all) but you'll definitely want to learn how to season your stuff. There were some cool lil info cards above the Sauce bar which gave pointers and ideas, which was very nice and helpful. The staff is so friendly and helpful, our server Jay was kind and patient. He walked my group through the process and how best to cook certain items. And the speed with which everything came out was wild, we were still eating our first choices. And the second items we ordered started arriving, faster than we anticipated. The atmosphere is AMAZING, and the place is very spacious. Overall this was a fun experience and I'd definitely recommend folks try it and have fun.

The best server here is SHANIYA!! Ask for her when you come. She always checks on you and makes sure you've
haf enough. This place was amazing to go to. The food was great and flavorful. The prices are perfect. The atmosphere is awesome. They play good music too. They have a wide selections of drinks. Pretty decent menu to order from. The perfect place to celebrate or to have a very nice lunch. Overall I had a great time and I love this place.

Wow! We came for the grand opening but we were beyond impressed at everything from the food to the service and the great drinks! Our server Amiya was the best! Loved the pork belly, we ordered it every way they made it and it was delicious! Great drink selection added a photo of the drink menu. I had some sake as well as a lot of soju. The bar to grab sauces and toppings are insane! They even have crab legs and really good chicken wings. We will be returning!

First time trying Kpot and it was so good. The food was high quality and came out quickly. My severe Derrick was very patient and explained everything to our table to make sure we knew the basics. The sauce bar was a great addition. It was 35 per person on a Saturday for all day dinner. 10/10 experience and will be back. Thank you Derrick for your amazing service. For my table of 3 it cost 129 with tax included, gratuity is separate for small parties.

First time here.. very awesome service with our server James.. did an awesome job always checking up on us and switching out the grill plates..

Very crowded for Mother's Day and it was a 90 min wait for us.. we tried making reservations a week before but was told they don't. so we came here at 5pm and yeah it was a long wait.. but worth it!!

BBQ Orders were portioned pretty well.. meat quality was great.. Definitely recommend the dinner only choices.. the kpot pork belly was extremely well seasoned/marinated.. I do enjoy the great selection of seafood.. and the choices of beef were pretty good too.. didn't try any chicken but probably will next time.. all the meat cooked very quickly which was good as I kept ordering more food..

Hotpot wise.. recommend the healthy herbs (wife's choice).. I got the seafood kimchi and my daughter got her favorite miso.. both were good in taste but my wife and I are more BBQ fans..

There is a small 'salad and sauce' bar.. kimchi was flavorful and not watery.. Definitely need to experiment with the sauces more to get a good sauce pairing for the BBQ.. but overall Definitely worth the experience and wait.. probably only to come here for dinner since the dinner only options were in my top 5 for meats for BBQ..

We just ate here 10 minutes ago and it was a blast! This korean bbq restaurant just opened and we had to try it out. Food portion is just right so that you'll be able to taste every type of meat that they have to offer. Our server was James and he was very kind and attentive, he explained the whole process and it made it easy for us.

Overall our whole experience was A+++ will definitely be back.

Had an amazing lunch. The thai tum yum is the best hotpot soup!!! Our server Adriana was an amazing server very knowledgeable about the menu and always came to check on us. This is my second time here and I have to say it was better than the first. My server Paul was absolutely amazing. His suggestions and banter kept us entertained and as well as knowledgeable of the menu.He was attentive to our table and even let us know when he took a break.I will definitely be asking for him the next time we come in

Always good quality and a great sauce bar. The service however is usually a hit or miss. However, Jay is AMAZING. I'd originally have given this place a less satisfied review because the last server I had here was awful (some red headed guy who was so bad I genuinely wondered if I'd done something to him to warrant it), but Jay has me back on board!! Request his section or sit at his bar and you'll have a great time.

Possibly the best place in Hampton Roads that we’ve been to for AYCE Hotpot and BBQ. We did the option for both hotpot and bbq. The quality and amount of choices are great!

The design of the place is very nice and clean. The service was so great! Our server was DAMOND and he was so nice and attentive. He really made the experience top tier!

Location is prefect, close to the interstate It being our first time as a large group definitely deserves 4.5 stars. We went Saturday afternoon, the start of its busiest time. Our wait time wasn’t long. All parties must be present before being seated. We opted to have a drink at the bar while we wait for all guest to arrive. Let jus say Eddie knows how to mix a drink !!! Our server was very sweet and informative.. She didn’t get impatient or frustrated with explaining the process to multiple people. Which was very helpful, us being a large group. Some folks are just slow to comprehend 🤣.. You must enter your selections on ipad, and not long after the food comes out. Everything was fresh, and the options were endless. We tried a pleather of proteins, and veggies all things were equally pleasing.. I wasn’t a fan of the scallops- they taste rubbery , and the spicy chicken was Odd- way to spicy, and overloaded with unnecessary seasons.. One last thing to address is pricing. $$
If anyone @ the table gets “hot pot” for soup. Everyone must use pot in addition to bbq grill. This adds $5 to buffet price. Of course 18% gratitude is added to all checks for large parties. The average price per person is between 45-52 depending on your drink selection… Honestly the prices is worth the experience!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time experiencing this type of dining and will say we had so much fun. Our server made the entire experience, probably the best experience from a server I’ve experienced in a long time. He was very busy yet he took the time out and taught us everything we need to know. Thank you
