My sister and I went here for lunch to try Korean food for our first time. We had such a nice experience. Our waiter was so nice and guided us through the menu. We ended up getting Kimbap and a Beef bulgogi lunch box to share. It came with lots of interesting and tasty sides. Everything was yummy and very filling. There were enough leftovers for my husband’s dinner! We will definitely go back🩵

First time having Korean BBQ and it was so much fun! The food was delicious and it's all you can eat so we got to try everything we wanted. A few of our favorites were the beef bulgogi, the ribeye, and the soy garlic chicken, but everything was amazing. We couldn't pick a favorite protein because each one was our favorite. The service was incredible. They helped us out and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend thsi restaurant.

If you are looking for GREAT KBBQ, this is where you need to go! We came from San Diego where KBBQ was AWESOME and since we have been here, we have tried multiple places & nothing compared. This place is REALLY good! The portion sizes are great!! They have steamed eggs, which a lot of places don't have here in the area. The service was great, especially our server named Lau. This is definitely our new spot!!

All, all, all you can eat for $35, this Korean barbecue has a good variety of dishes and all very tasty. Highly recommended the sweet potato noodles, I personally like to mix them with the kimchi and tofu soup and add a couple of pork belly pieces.

A great place for Ayce kbbq. I originally came here months ago but couldn't get in nor talk to any hostess about getting a spot in. Very annoying.

But recently a friend had the birthday dinner here and decided to give it a go. The food was good, though I do wish there was more appetizer options. Their chicken wings were one of my favorite things, we ended up reordering many.

Staff is friendly and it looks like they have a full bar to make many cocktails. Plus lots of Soju options.

Place would be great with a large group of friends or family.

First time at a Korean bbq place and I loved it! They were super busy and the server tried his best to keep up with all the tables he had, but it was taking a long time to get anything from the kitchen and our drinks. Other than that it was a great experience.

Wow! This was absolutely the best Korean BBQ place I have ever been to! I was hesitant when I saw it was $35 per person but you get to order up to 5 proteins so when you do the math you're doing well. I started with the chili pineapple bulgogi and that was excellent, especially when combined with the yum yum sauce. I had the squid next and it was good but took a while to cook through properly. My wife had the BBQ marinated pork chop and she said it was delicious. I then ordered the rib eye, which doesn't come seasoned, so you'll enjoy it with the yum yum sauce also. The showstopper was the LA Galbi (beef short rib)...I seriously may only order that next time as the seasonings were so perfectly balanced of sweet and savory... absolutely my favorite thing here. The yuja tea is a citrus flavor but better than just how that sounds. Before you leave you need to leave enough room for the tiramisu... absolute perfect level of sweetness. We shall definitely return and continue to give them our business!

From reuniting w/BSF, to my wedding anniversary and birthdays…I will always come to Gogi Guys. When it’s packed food may take a minute but the service is amazing everyone makes you feel so welcomed. I introduce all my friends to this place. Also as a kpop fan I get to enjoy the music that I can’t anywhere else. Lol

Also we love Sophia! She is so cute and sweet!

Thanks Y’all!

Enjoyed most recent visit.. even though it was relatively packed and even with half of the place being reserved by two parties.. was able to be seated and served in a timely manner.. wife and I were excited to try the kitchen items and they are good!! The kimbap definitely one of the best in the area and the japchae as well!! This visit had a different set of dipping sauces which were all good.. but was hoping to get their soy sauce house sauce.. didn't ask for it if they had it.. just decided to roll with it.. daughter loved the shrimp and had a whole serving to herself.. really recommend the chili pineapple bulgogi!!

Advise to come early enough to get seats if not making a reservation

I am so happy this place opened up. My friend had already been here once and they invited us out the next time. We had a total of 7 so we had to get 2 tables. Although I saw another table squeeze in 6. I think we got there at a good time where it wasn't busy yet. Because when we left it look like at least 5 parties were waiting. We went around 5pm on a Saturday (4/8/23). We ordered lots of options for food. My friend at the other table got seafood pancakes and it was probably my favorite item there so far. They also got kimbap. The meats we got at our table were ribeye steak, La balbi (beef short rib), pork belly, beef bulgogi, Garlic shrimp, Soy garlic chicken, and veggies. Everything was delicious. I really liked the beef bulgogi, la balbi, and ribeye steak. The chicken and shrimp lacked flavor but adding the dipping sauces helped. I also loved all of the sides and loved how you can ask for more. Kimchi is one of my favorites. We changed out our stove plate 3 times, which was no issue. I will say the waiter was a hint or miss. We would ask for a drink and she would come back 2 times without them so by the 3rd time we asked again to ensure she didn't forget. In the beginning she was doing fine but I think when she got more tables the service for us slowed down. I got 2 bottles of soju and the rest of my table got beers. I loved the interior/decor of the place. They also had k-pop on/music videos. On the menu which you can see online it does mention a few things for all you can eat. Like can't take anything left over, will be charged for food being left over, a 120 min limited dining time, and gratuity added 20% for parties of 6 or more. So be mindful with that.
We parked in the aldi parking lot across the street. I can't wait to come back though.

Finally, a place doing Korean BBQ proper! We've had places for a few years that are combo Chinese Hot Pot and Korean BBQ restaurants but the Korean BBQ side doesn't have those Korean flavors. This place ISN'T like that. And then for Korean BBQ these other places don't have one of the most basic elements, banchan! I was relieved and excited when the side dishes started coming out after our order. The meats are prepped properly and are nice and thick cuts, not sliced bacon-thin like the other wannabe restaurants in this region. The marinated and un-marinated meats are all tasty and you get some sauces on the side to dip them in, usually three different types. They also have some side entrees from the kitchen like the kimbap, spicy rice cake, and japchae, but these are portioned smaller than their lunch menu (you can get these during lunch as a full entrée) since the focus is on the bbq. They have plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from and they serve soju, which some of the other restaurants don't even do. This place is busy having been open almost a year now, so reservations are recommended. Also, they have a minimum serving of two people, so if you're looking to come here by yourself, you're out of luck. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

So excited to find a Korean bbq place in norfolk!!! It is actually unlimited and you don’t pay extra for sides or items from the chef! Went with my husband for date night and we had such a fun experience. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, worked to communicate our wait time with us/ confirm our reservation and sat us early. The bartender and another server made an effort to say hello/ goodbye after our visit as well. Our server was so fun! She had such charismatic energy. She let us enjoy our date, checked in as needed, was super fast on putting in our food and having it delivered to the table. The drinks took a couple of minutes but they had one bar tender and at least 50-70 people in the resturant. The atmosphere is super fun- we enjoyed the k pop and lighting. The restaurant was VERY clean. we paid 36$ per person and the food was well worth more than that. Overall, it was the best Korean bbq experience we have had in Virginia so far. Everything was perfect from the food, speed of service, cleanliness, atmosphere and the entire staff. We will definitely be back!!! ❤

I waited in line for the opening so luckily I was the second party seated, and I was so happy I came 30 mins early because that line looked insane! However, I had an amazing experience. We ordered so many meats and I’ve always gotta have my cheesy corn!!! The meat was very fresh, and the waitress was lovely and doing the best she could despite the crazy crowd! Had a lot of good beef. The thin sliced bulgogi, curry chicken, pork bulgogi, and honestly all beef choices ya can’t go wrong! Really love that they played some of my favorite groups on the tv as we ate, because it always makes it more enjoyable (I’m a BLINK!) . The waitress ignited my Soju bomb for me (hit the table not head guys!!!) and it was overall such a good time. Everything was clean, quick (as quick as they possibly could on an all you can eat restaurant with prime meats lol). I will for sure be back. I’m really glad they’re here now because I was going to the Korean bbq places in VB and they grossly overcharge and it isn’t even all you can eat! Safe to say I will be back, and will probably be a regular! Keep up the awesome work guys! Something tells me y’all will be taking over the Korean bbq scene here.

Although opening day took a three hour wait, we got to try mango and banana rice wine while we waited. We loved the banana better. Once our table was ready, we.....COULD...NOT.....ORDER..FAST

A few days ago I came in for the all you can eat menu. I was discussing with the waiter vegetarian options. After the waiter left the table the owner came over an apologized for having limited vegetarian options. She then proceeded to go straight back to the kitchen and prepare two off menu vegetarian dishes just for me! 😭 I was stunned. The food was DELICIOUS! But even more, this amazing women cared enough to go above and beyond to make sure her customer was taken care of. We are extremely lucky to have such a business in our community! I will forever be a supporter of this establishment.

I definitely expanded my pallet at Gogi Guys yesterday, I wasn’t expecting a grill in the middle of our table but I just went with the flow and my group and I started cooking up all the food we ordered. I don’t think there was a bad option on the menu at all. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Norfolk!

Just incredible! The meat was flavorful and the side dishes were to die for. The melon cocktail, Seoul Mate, is so good and so dangerous! 🤣👍🏻 and of course, the service and vibes are amazing! We will absolutely be back again soon, so glad to have them so close!

Place is great! Plenty of things to try off the menu and it’s AYCE! Tons of meat selections and comes with dipping sauce. Got the LA galbi, bulgogi, shrimp, squid, ribeye steak and bunch of sides (steamed egg, cheesy corn, glass noodles, seafood pancakes, loaded kimchi fries, ban chan) Glad to try it out on their soft opening. 5 stars!
