La Florida Coffee & Wine

Amazing coffee shop! As a college student I was looking for a place to have a good coffee and study at the same time and this is it! They have outlets close to the tables so if you need to stay for a while there’s somewhere to plug in electronics. Also, as soon as I came in a band started to set up and played amazing slow jazz throughout the stay.

It was pretty quiet place, also has a great outdoor sitting area next to public yoga grasses. You can feel the downtown atmosphere. We were so excited when we see the Cortada coffee in the menu. However, it was almost cold and half of it was milk foam which is weird. As I said, the atmosphere was great and artistic with all these cool paintings and fresh flowers of the spring. Their muffins are also delicious👌

I remember watching the ribbon-cutting ceremony for La Florida as I left work downtown one day. This place has been a family favorite ever since...especially when there is an event happening at Kleman Plaza. You can enjoy a coffee or glass of wine on the patio while the kids walk around. Today was no exception during the 3rd Annual History Festival. Enjoyed a Lavender Honey Latte and Veggie Quiche. Previously we've enjoyed some Spanish wine and a charcuterie board before setting off on a self-guided downtown art walk. Today's food selection was a bit limited, but I've always enjoyed what they serve. Highly recommend.

I came in a couple of days ago for a coffee and was helped by the most wonderful and enthusiastic employee named Kelsey. She was so pleasant and my coffee and cinnamon roll were delightful. I will definitely be back. I always look for great customer service on top of great food and beverage, and my expectations were met and then some. Will highly recommend to friends and family!

The cafe is right there near their city parking garage as you're coming up from below the garage.

It's a small yet cozy and comfortable cafe with nice views into the streets of the city.

The latte was great, the place was clean and I can see why the place can keep a good flow of customers.

A good place to drop by when working or traveling the area.

Stumbled across this cafe while trying new places around Tallahassee. So glad that I did! Super cute decor and calm atmosphere, will definitely come back to hang out and/or study. My barista Katie was super welcoming and attentive to my somewhat complicated order. Highly recommended!

I went in for a coffee before class yesterday morning and had the greatest experience! My barista was Kelsey and she made me coffee extra sweet for me just how I like it and it was perfect. She was very sweet, will definitely be back again!

Clean. Coffee and food (sandwiches and muffins) were so delicious. Katie waited on us and she was very friendly and professional! Will definitely stop by again when we’re in Tallahassee every time! Highly recommend.

Kelsey exemplified excellent customer service when I ordered iced coffee this morning. She had a great attitude and made me happy to be in her presence. I will definitely be telling people to try out La Florida soon.

My wife went to La Florida recently and after going, recommended that I go as well. It did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere and Courtney made a delicious vanilla latte for me. Will be back!

LaFlorida is such a lovely spot. I travel for work, and always try to find places where I can feel “at home”. This will be my spot in Tally! And Kelsey is magnificent! La Florida is an exquisite coffee shop with a great location in downtown. There is so much natural light and the inside of the place features so many exciting colors. We had a cinnamon roll which was great! We also had a latte which was excellent, one of the better ones in Tallahassee. Often times coffee shops will burn the latte but the barista here was excellent. The drip coffee was also good! This is a great spot to sit down and relax and is located in Kleman plaza so there’s a nice area to walk around too!

Chill and relaxing atmosphere with delicious coffee and friendly staff. In the shadows of the Florida Capitol Building, La Florida is our favorite coffee spot in downtown Tallahassee.

I don’t usually drink coffee, but when I do I come here. I always get the best recommendations and have started to enjoy trying new things, thanks to Kelsey. Looking forward to the next time I see her here!

Kelsey must’ve weaved the space-time continuum itself to craft my coffee because it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted and might I add ☝🏼 that her amazing customer service paired very nicely with it. Will definitely be coming back!!!

La Florida is a cozy coffee shop with a great vibe. Kelsey is always creating a welcoming environment when I visit (and great at making white chocolate mocha latte) it’s a nice pick me up before having to work around the corner

Yesterday I dined in at the La Florida Coffee & Wine and my server Kelsey was incredibly helpful, kind and enthusiastic and made the overall experience a 10/10. I will be coming back and recommending this place and her to everyone I know!

Parking is paid or further away, but this place is cute. Grab a coffee and a muffin and enjoy the upscale feel or take a walk in the plaza. Barista was pleasant and the atmosphere was calm. Nice afternoon pick-me-up.

The sweetest coffee shop! While all the baristas are wonderful, Maggie is my favorite! Thanks for giving us a top-notch experience.
