One of the best places in Clayton. Lots of space, great views, comfortable to sit and chill. Bartender is great, they have activities some nights of the week. And now they are also offering food!

Had a great first experience at Currahee Brewing Company! Diverse brew selection, live music, tasty bites (fresh pretzels, hummus, ice cream sandwiches 🤤), and that north Georgia mountain air… 🌄Check them out! 🍻

The wife and I did a "beat the heat" trip up to North Georgia the middle of July (though the heat didn't really develop as predicted that week) and spent a few days in the mountains seeing the sights and stopping in a county seats. One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to Clayton to take pictures of the Rabun County courthouse and, right across the street, stop in to sample the brews at the Currahee Brewing location in Clayton. Currahee originated in Franklin, North Carolina, about 23 miles up US Highway 23 from Clayton. They now have three locations, the second having been opened in Alpharetta, Georgia and this one in Clayton. We've not been to the other two, but it's hard to imagine their locations are any more picturesque than this. Being the middle of the week and that they don't serve food, it was surprisingly busy with a number of people sitting at the bar. None the less the service was prompt and friendly. Once again we had two flights, which encompassed just about their whole taplist other than the sours. The standouts for me were the Needmore, their New England Hazy IPA and their Mountain Blonde Ale, but all that we had were quite drinkable. As I recall, my wife liked the Garland IPA the best. Clayton's a wonderful little town, great place to visit, and we would have liked to have spent more time their. We're hoping to get back in the fall for the changing of the leaves and will definitely stop in here again.

Only beer. No food, although they do have snacks for sale. They have a 5oz sampler, and you get 4 choices. Our favorite was Slick Rock, the least favorite PawPaw. They have games and lotsa merch. Good place to watch the game. GO DAWGS

Great new place in downtown Clayton.
Plenty of tasty beers to enjoy and also to take with you. Friendly, helpful staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. Bring your dog and have a cold one on the front patio area.

The venue, staff and beer are phenomenal. So many cool areas here and the vibe is incredible- all walks of life from locals to visitors enjoying some great beer provided by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great place to stop for a beer, or host an event. Many regular events & activities like Trivia and open mic night (watch out Hollywood)! A must visit if you're in town!

Attended a friend’s birthday party hosted in the back room of the brewery with 30 guests and DJ. The event was catered by a local restaurant and the brewery had a bartender serving a few selections from a bar in the corner. The brown ale was very good and so was the porter. It was music bingo night which is always a fun time, and the patron sing alongs got louder and funnier as the night went on. I found the servers helpful and enjoyed the kick back casual vibe. Currahee is welcoming and appears to be like THE go-to for locals, because many patrons greeted each other throughout the night. If you’re in the area stop in for a pint.

Visiting with kids for fall break and LOVED coming here. They had a kids corner which the kids ran right to and entertained themselves for a while and then enjoyed playing games on the outdoor picnic tables and swinging in the cloth chair swings outside. Very family and dog friendly and great service ❤

This is a great spot to stop and unwind during a mountain getaway. A block off Clayton's main drag, lots of low and bar height seating, 12 different tap brews to enjoy, cornhole, swings big enough for adults, rocking chairs, couches, and two different bar areas if you want to host a private event. The beers we had were good - so good, in fact, I struggle to remember the names! LOL! I DO remember a fruity number called a 506 Wild and my wife loved the Stay Peachy.

Bar tender so friendly, sharing local information as we’re passing through. Craft beer @ a great price, lively atmosphere, live music, plenty of space & locals paid in advance to share a free beer w/thru hikers. Southern hospitality at its kindest.

We really enjoyed this little place. They are super friendly and the beer was good. They were pretty slow when we were there and they were going to close early. They still served us and didn't make us feel rushed at all. We really appreciate that they are dog friendly. They have a good truck but it was not open when we were there. I enjoyed the 506 sour so much that I took a growler to go. I highly recommend this place after a nice hike in the mountain!

We popped into town and decided to give Currahee Brewing Company a trying and they did not disappoint! My husband and I tried out a few beers while our daughter played in their kid area! They had a variety or toys and two chalk walls that she LOVED to draw on with the different colors! The beer was delicious and we even got a 6-pack to take back to the cabin! We will definitely be back when the weather warms up because it looked like they open the large doors to enjoy the fresh air!

Excellent beer! Excellent service. Great atmosphere! I really like this place. Only drawback, they didn't have the brew I liked in cans to go... I'll just have to come back.
