Definitely a fun and unique experience. Entrance is free and you just pay for bags or a bucket of food for the goats. My kids loved feeding the goats and watching them go on the roof. The icecream was deliciouss and we enjoyed watching them make it. They have cute little photo ops outside and the store was nice as well. Everyone was friendly, we'll definitely pass by again when we're in the area. 🐐

What a fun and unique place to visit especially if you love or like goats! They have a gift shop, fudge and ice cream place plus a food truck. You can then eat or walk around and watch the goats on the roof!!

Love the idea, the goats were lounging cause it was too hot. The gift shop is cute, the grounds are cute. We didn't buy feed but you can.

Such a cool place! The goats on the roof are so cute and it’s a lot of fun to feed them through those hand operated machines that transfer them the food. We absolutely loved the nitrogen ice cream! It was quite a show how the guy made it to order right on the spot. I think the real game changer in that ice cream is the high fat milk which makes it super creamy and delicious (and it’s HUGE). Next time we’ll try the fudge for sure.

Cute little stop. The goats are entertaining. I had to get some ice cream since everyone was raving about it. It was good. Definitely enough for 2 people or more. I would not get my own. Interesting to watch it being made. Tried cajun boiled peanuts for the first time. Pretty good. Not a peanut person but the flavor was delicious and texture Interesting. They have a small gem mining building. They do have a food truck that is there permanently every day so you can get actual food and there are tables you can eat at. We were there less than half an hour. Definitely worth a stop, it's funny.

What a fun experience. There is a wide selection of apparently homemade items as you enter, general store fashion, and the ultimate destination of ice cream and fudge just adjacent. Excellent value for money, and the ice creams are prepared from liquid nitrogen tanks as you watch. I had the "Goat Poop" ice cream, which was vanilla, chocolate chip, heath bar and optional chocolate sauce stop. Service is friendly and charming, despite their occasional frost burns in delivery. The namesake goats can be fed outside.

Been here MANY times but it never disappoints.
Clean bathrooms
Cool playground
THE GOATS!
They couldn’t make ice cream because the nitrogen was empty BUT they offered 15% off everything else to make up for it.
The perfect stop on the way to the mountains.
Feed a goat for $1
Pretty wild!

Cute and unique tourist stop with food, ice cream, and products made with goat's milk. You can buy a bag of feed for $1. Great place for children and adults alike. Loved it!

This is a really cute place to visit. The goats are adorable and their feed cost only one dollar for a small bag. Try the homemade ice cream too - It's delicious. The also have a food truck on site with lots of reasonable bites to eat. The friendly staff made our hour visit one to cherish. Five stars.

Had a great time at Goats On the Roof! The homemade ice cream and fudge are very good and we all had fun feeding the goats. If you're in the area would recommend a stop in!

There is no entrance fee. $1/bag for goat food and the ice creams are HUGE so can share (though it's always fun picking your own flavor).

Kind of fun place if not half closed because of virus. Food is decent but nothing to be excited about :) We went there on our way some other place. Overall, place like that have all rights and must exist on a map and we need more places like that to go to once in a while. Thank you for keeping your uniqueness and weirdness preserved.
Kids added that sweets and ice creams were awesome and I forgot to mention that we got some souvenirs as well from the shop. Adding pictures. PLEASE CONSIDER TO ADD ELECTRIC CAR CHARGERS!!!!!! EV drivers will stay longer and spend more 100% of the time because they want or NEED to charge. Stations can be tax deducted, electricity cost negligible compare with how much we spend while charging. Talk to city and county, electric company and Tesla to get discounts, etc.

Before we moved to this area I remember seeing signs for "Goats on the Roof" and couldn't believe when we drove by there actually were goats on the roof! Flash forward a year later and I told the kids I would take them out for ice cream and brought them here. They had so much fun playing on the little playground and the truck. The goats were adorable and the ice cream was really good. It's a great little place to stop and stretch your legs on a long car ride with kids. I loved the stores as well, found some candy I hadn't seen since my childhood. Now that we live 8 miles away, we'll definitely be back!

Goats on the Roof is an awesome place to stop, especially with children! The feed is $1 per scoop, and it comes in a paper lunch bag. They sell many different snack items, merchandise, ice cream, and food. If you’ve never been, stop by for some boiled peanuts and see what you think!

Another must if you're ever in this area. The ice cream is really good, fresh, and made in front of you! Friendly staff. Clean and easy to find location. Hand feed the goats and grab a burger. Tourist shop with all your wants and needs. Fudge and very cool views. Highly recommend!

Such a fun, comical place with the BEST ice cream I have ever had. We stumbled upon Goats On The Roof by accident when we were leaving the Tallulah Gorge State Park. It was such a cute place, and I loved being able to feed the goats and see them up close. If we are in the area again, we will certainly stop. I’m telling you, the ice cream is amazing!! According to their website it is “Award Winning Nitro Homemade Ice cream!”

Very good food (and special flavored ice cream), but otherwise this well positioned "tourist attraction" is a goat related souvenir store and a dinner, which just has great ambient with goats walking on the roof of the building. Children have a blast on a mini playground with blue tainted water and a possibility to feed the goats. Worth a stop if you are passing by.

Truly a highlight of our trip. Goats On The Roof is one part petting zoo, one part gift shop, one part snack stop. Its the perfect roadside attraction and a fun place to stretch your legs and give the kids something to do.
The gift shop is very reasonably priced with TONS of items. I wish all roadside attractions had as many options for souvenirs and at such great rates. This is a must stop for every trip near here.

I had been to Goats on the Roof when I was a kid during summer camp and on my way to summer camp. Came back again this weekend after not being here for over a decade an I highly recommended it! I would 100% stop here any time I pass it.

Prices are reasonable, good food and awesome ice cream! It’s huge so you could easily Split one between two people.

I’m giving a four star rating because I bought a shirt when I visited, and when I got home I noticed there was a pretty sizable rip in the bottom of it. I wish I had checked prior to leaving, but they also didn’t have any more sizes of the shirt I specifically wanted.

UPDATE: After seeing this post, the owners of Goats on the Roof were kind and very responsive when sending me another shirt!
