Solid coffee shop. I had a dirty chai that was pretty good. I got mine for there and the drink wasn't really hot by the time I got it. If you have hot water on tap behind the bar maybe prefill the cups with hot water so the drink isn't going to lose half its heat just warming the cup when it gets poured in. I'll definitely be back though, the coffee was good and the space is cozy. Service was very friendly as well.

This coffee made me SO happy. Really cute location but more importantly the staff were incredibly gracious about and patient with my order.

I went there for the first time today, and it was a wonderful experience! The latte and breakfast I had was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful! It's a wonderful spot to go and have a coffee by yourself or with other people. It is also a great atmosphere to do studying if you are a student! I highly recommend going here, and I can't wait to come back again!

Love this place. Outdoor seating with a beautiful view and of course every beverage is amazing! I had the Nutella cold brew today! 😋

Traverse Coffee Co makes delicious specialty coffees, and even has seasonal drinks available for a limited time (their pumpkin spice latte is made with homemade pumpkin spice - sooooooo good and only available through October 31). There are also non coffee items available - a variety of teas, hot chocolate, and cold drinks in a small fridge if coffee, tea, or hot chocolate sound good. I had the pumpkin spice latte and a mocha the next day. Breakfast sandwiches and pastries were very tasty. I was only in Hallowell for a few short days, but saw that the owner had created a warm and welcoming shop feel, and could tell that the regulars adore him.

The cutest place for a coffee with the best vibes. We stopped for coffee to go but if I lived locally I would never leave. The baristas were so knowledgeable and friendly, the fireplace corner was so cozy, and the porch on the back had the best view. The coffee was so good, too, but honestly the place was so much the quintessential embodiment of what I want a coffee shop to be that I would go back even if it had tasted terrible. Luckily, it was fantastic! There is also a used book store down the street. Traverse Coffee could not be more perfect if it tried.

I’m in love with this place! After we closed our location for the season in Boothbay Harbor Maine I went to visit Hallowell, and one of my regulars highly recommend to me this coffee shop. I walked in and the owner greeted me with a big smile. I placed my order and got a nutty latte, turkey panini and a cinnamon roll. Everything it was excellent, if you ever around please try this coffee shop! I highly recommend!

I love this place! I honestly base my appointments in the area around when they are open. My go-to order is their Maple oat milk latte, but everything is delicious.

The owner and staff are also really great. It’s a small shop and they always speak up conversations while your waiting. A true local gem with a small town community feel.

Traverse is absolutely wonderful! Delicious drinks and snacks, with some truly unique and fun offerings, and the nicest baristas you'll find anywhere.

Cannot say enough good things about this coffee shop. They are super kind and the drinks and food are tasty. It is such a cute little place. They even have a deck outside. They have a store next door that they are connected to and it has the nicest Maine made items. I highly recommend checking both places out!

Very tasty drinks, a pleasant atmosphere, and really nice staff / owner. It's definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Hallowell.

I got a spicy mocha coffee and my wife got a flat white. We were both very happy with our drinks.

This is a great place! The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, and you won't find a better cup of coffee anywhere in Kennebec County. With names like The English Channel, The East Indies, and The Nutty Tortie, their specialty coffees are smooth and delicious. (If you like a little heat, I recommend the Flying Dutchman - particularly tasty!) The view of the Kennebec River from their deck is lovely. Highly recommended!

A friend invited me to meet her here! It was not only an amazing experience but the best latte I have ever had. The grill cheese was amazing!! I will be back!
I ended up taking the panini back to work because I spent my lunch break enjoying my latte!

Just visited the pop up in the Ironman village (Augusta)! Coffee was delicious but the bagel sandwich was to die for! One of the fluffiest bagels I’ve ever had! They are very passionate about the quality of their coffee, and sharing good coffee with good people! If I’m ever back in the area I’ll give them another visit!

Absolutely amazing experience. It was the best coffee spot I have been to in Maine. The view from the outside area was beautiful. The service was fast and helpful. Great customer service. Would highly reccomended this spot for anyone visiting

Very good coffee. A little more than I like to spend daily, but a nice treat now and then. The owners are incredibly nice and the cold brew hits the spot on a hot summer day.

Excellent place for a coffee and pastry. Right on Main Street. There's plenty of parking when I go in the morning and the service is quick. The owners are usually in the store and take pride in providing great customer service.

Adorable little place right in the heart of Hallowell. The staff was super friendly and my caramel latte was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Nice relaxing place, unless your wife visits the attached gift shop next door :). Friendly staff and great lattes! Have never eaten there, but the pastries look good.
