The organization I run has held numerous meetings and retreats at Maple Hill Farm over the years and even more frequently since COVID. Everything is always perfect! Our staff who travel from afar stay over and report that the rooms are beautiful, peaceful and serene and that the service is top notch, with the staff going out of their way to make them feel right at home.

As far as events, everything is seamless and ready to go, without ever a hitch. Questions are answered promptly, changes can be made on the fly, seemingly effortlessly. The owners and staff are kind and calm and just make everything work perfectly.

The food is fresh and delicious, the presentation is beautiful and the food service is splendid.

I highly recommend this lovely venue, without a hint of reservation!!

Amenities were awesome! We hit the hot tub and sauna and even our private jacuzzi in our room. A real bonus was the robes they provided. They were made for big people of whom we are! Breakfast was wonderful and atmosphere was comforting.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Scott greets us as if we are old friends, and Vince makes sure we are satisfied each morning with an excellent breakfast of our choice from their signature Maine style offerings.
They have plenty of extras and amenities to make the stay the best it can be.

So I definitely wasn't planning on a mini-vacation. However, due to the December 2023 power outage that left the majority of Mainers stranded, the situation was pretty dire and, if I'm being honest, I wasn't prepared to go days without warm food or a hot shower.

I called several hotels in the area; some had power, some didn't, but all of them were at full capacity. My partner and I were starting to wonder how exactly we would proceed during the outage — then came along Maple Hill Farm Inn!

Scott, one of the two owner-managers, picked up the phone in a very warm, inviting cadence and said, "Oh yeah, we have plenty of room! We've running off of a generator." I was immediately relieved and booked a stay for one night and then hastily called them back to book for another night.

Upon our arrival, we met Vince, the other owner-manager of the Inn, who's equally kind and courteous. I had been to the Inn's Conference Center before for work reasons but had never had the chance to stay.

Simply put, the Maple Hill Farm Inn was a calm and quiet dreamscape — an oasis, if you will — during a time of crisis. Backdropped with pretty nature, starry skies, goofy llamas, and a secret pond nearby, you will absolutely find your own corner of the world to nestle into. Scott and Vince, along with their very helpful staff, were eager to facilitate the dream and I left feeling as though I'd understood the draw of central Maine more.

The place was so special that I booked for a third and final night, and I don't regret it at all.

I highly recommend this establishment for anyone, whether you're a Mainer, a visitor, or someone in-between like myself. 💕

Thank you to everyone, cats included, who made our stay so special and memorable. Much love from Mase and Jett always.

I have stayed here twice now and throughout enjoyed each time. The innkeepers are wonderful and personable, the inn is so cozy, the outside is equipped with a relaxing sauna and hot tub, and there are adorable llamas on the grounds. I highly recommend a stay here!!

Can’t say enough how much I enjoyed our stay at Maple Hill Farm!

A very relaxing weekend combined with a wedding shower for our daughter and future son-in-law.

Truly a world-class experience. Enviable customer service and noteworthy care for the customer.

Their attention-to-detail was most notable in the “little things”—especially the made bed which had zero wrinkles / creases with perfect 45 degree corners. They would have made my drill sergeants from the military envious!

My highest recommendation!!

Absolutely quintessential B&B experience in a beautiful part of Maine. The owners have created something truly special and are uniquely responsive to guest needs. The B&B is green by design, and has been for so long that it seems like a bit of a history lesson in the last few decades of evolving eco-conscious design. Breakfast, fearing eggs from the owners chickens, is fantastic and a full menu made to order rather than a buffet or fixed meal. Great for birding, nature, weddings or just to take a breather. Highly recommend.

The Maple Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast Inn and Conference Center provided a wonderful experience for a meeting my organization hosted there. It is located in a lovely area of Maine. The staff is attentive to your needs, and kept in constant touch regarding the meeting prior to the date to make sure all details were covered. The conference room was spacious with lots of natural light, and the guest rooms were very clean and well kept.
The food served at the meeting was very good, as was the service.
The Maple Inn is also environmentally concerned and is a "green" venue. I highly recommend the Inn for hosting a meeting or to get away.

Close to Maine's capital of Augusta, Maple Farm Inn is an extraordinary experience. This historic inn is in a beautiful, country setting. Expertly groomed grounds and impeccable rooms with exquisite linens. I enjoyed quiet and refreshing accomodations as well as a delicious breakfast prepared by the innkeepers.

We booked a room at the inn for my dad and his fiancee when they came up to Maine to visit us and it was such a wonderful experience! Scott and Vince offer a very customized stay and are attentive to every need. And the inn is absolutely beautiful! It was just the peaceful retreat we were looking for. We'll definitely be recommending it to any family and friends that visit us in the future.

Happened upon Maple Hill Farm Inn on our way south from Gaspé to NYC. The proximity to Augusta and reviews on google, made it an easy choice. Scott and Vince are most thoughtful hosts. The inn is filled with charming details, and breakfasts are delicious!! We ended up staying an additional night so we could explore the area [Wiscasset (lobster rolls), Brunswick (antiques)]. Highly recommend dinner at Oak Table & Bar in downtown Augusta too!

The farm and scenery are true Maine! The Breakfasts are almost a reason alone to visit- fresh fruit, dishes made to order, fresh baked goods. The history is wonderful, - as well as the hosts. Wish we had more time to spend there. Oh well, maybe another summer.

The ABSOLUTE most Perfect B & B! A little Gem hidden away in Hallowell/Augusta Maine, everything a traditional B & B should be and more. We stayed here for our Anniversary this weekend and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway! We were made to feel like extended family and not just paying guests. Upon arrival we had an in depth, very well articulated introduction to the B & B explaining many perks of the B & B and the long standing history which was very much appreciated, for it is a more personal experience when you are rich in knowledge concerning where you are staying (which is the epitome of a true B & B experience). We had the room with the jet tub and fireplace and it was perfect. Breakfast was amazing, full bar open until late in the evening, common kitchen with yummy desserts included. Historic, clean, friendly, felt like a home away from home! Will definitely be back! TY Scott for a most amazing, memorable experience!

Just lovely!

My girlfriend and I have spontaneously booked two nights at Maple Hill as we were doing a roadtrip through the east coast and from here we startet our ride to Acadia National Park and a stay after that. We got a very warm welcome by Co-Owner Scott and he gave us a tour through the buildings. You just feel how proud he is about what the place has become over the decades.

We were also welcomed by two cuddly, cute and beautiful cats. Petting was almost mandatory.

The morning starts great as the breakfast you get served fresh is incredible. Pan Cakes? Bacon? Porridge? They have menus prepared which you can choose and get them freshly cooked for you. Besides, there is also a cold buffet with coffee, tea and cereals.

In addition they also have a bar for the evening hours.

I will come back again for experiencing Acadia in the summer and I will for sure book a night at Maple Inn Farm for that. An honest, a heart warming and beautiful place to stay!

A beautiful, quaint Maine farmhouse bed and breakfast which bests the stiff New England Inn competition. The proprietors are professional, attentive and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and tech friendly. The Inn focuses on comfort while being environmentally conscious. The freshly prepared breakfast was spectacular and there were desserts available in the communal fridge at all hours. The Inn featured outdoor amenities with a rocking chair porch, a hot tub and a sauna. The owners are well versed in local history and are good local site and restaurant guides. My stay at the Inn was one leg in a cross Maine site seeing vacation but I'm already considering a future booking just to enjoy the Inn and nearby downtown Hallowell. I would recommend that those interested in booking a stay at the Inn, do so in June or July to take advantage of sturgeon spawning season in the Kennebec River. Sitting along the river in Hallowell and watching the sturgeon jump is an experience worth the trip.

Beautiful grounds, cozy, clean rooms, and spectacular service. Scott and Vince are the nicest hosts and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the busy life. Close enough to shops for it to not be inconvenient, but tucked away enough to offer peace and tranquility. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay!! The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and we loved the outdoor hot tub in the beauty of the snow. The area around Augusta Maine is beautiful. We hiked down to a frozen pond and even saw ice fishermen. Hospitality was amazing also! Would definitley recommend to anyone visiting Maine or anyone who lives in Maine!!
