Lakeside Lodge And Marina

While this is definitely more 'motel' than 'hotel', it's clean and quiet, and in a great location right at the top of the lake. The views are great, and the people who work here are really wonderful! We had good homemade breakfast sandwichs in the cafe, with the bonus of 25% off for end-of-season! The room we had with 2 double beds was definitely tight for space, and the shower is very small, but for a place originally built in the 1950's, it's in great shape. And a bonus is potentially getting to see Travis Mills, a true American hero (look him up). Right next door is the Wild Duck Inn, so you have a restaurant (a good one) within walking distance. We had a great stay.

We had 10 people scattered over 2 rooms in the hotel and 3 cabins. We also rented a pontoon boat for the week. Everyone enjoyed their accommodations, their time on and in the lake, grilling and sitting by the fire pit in the evening. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We all had a great time. The cafe and store within the location were a handy addition since our last visit. The brew pub next door had great food and drinks and is just a 3 minute walk from anywhere on the property.

Rooms are clean and view of the lake is amazing. Staff have been very attentive and accommodating. I love coming back here every year!

Good value, clean rooms, air conditioned, very friendly staff, great location. We picked Lakeside because of its location to drop off (and pick up a week later) our son at the Y camp nearby since we live 5 hours away. It was what we needed.

Overall we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. It was right on the lake so fishing and boating was available. We would go back again.

Stopped in one day to see what they had for tackle staff is very knowledgeable of everything there, the local fisheries and tournaments happening excellent prices as well! Def going back

Service is excellent! From making reservations to renting a boat, the entire staff is dedicated to making sure you have a great time! Special shout-out to Nicole, Nick, Zach and Sherry, who are always available with everything from fishing advice to ice cubes. Also, food at the North End Cafe and White Duck Pub is really, really good - you won’t be disappointed!

Once again the Team at Lakeside did a fabulous job making our stay extraordinary! They even went out of their way to help with some engine problems on my boat, Thanks Gang for all the help and another Memorial day is in the books thanks to all of You!!

Best bass fishing in New England. Lakeside is in the perfect spot with a beautiful view. Room comes with a boat slip. They have made upgrades but it still has a great old style fishing camp feel. Has been our annual fishing trip for 10 plus years and his annual fishing trip my with godfather for 30 years before that.

Excellent experience! Clean rooms, courteous staff, great fishing. The snack bar is great and the tackle shop is well equipped. Really Good People who painstakingly go the extra mile to make sure the guest has lifetime memories to hold onto. Thanks Nichole and Nick. Always a pleasure to visit!

I stayed here for 9 1/2 weeks during the off season while my apartment was being renovated. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I had a little apartment with a kitchen and it felt like home. It must be like heaven here in the summer and from what I hear the fishing is unbeatable.

Stayed here last summer for a weekend and had a blast! Clean place, boats run great, and friendly service! Called today to book again for this summer. I had the pleasure of speaking with Nicole. Nicole was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. The pricing is very affordable for such a great time. The owners are such hard workers who are great to their customers and employees!

I rented a pontoon boat from Lakeside and everything was perfect. Their boats are a little bit older, but well maintained and they run great. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable, and I'm very glad to do business with them.

I feel like they go over and above to make sure that you are completely taken care of, and that you have no worries whatsoever being out on that Lake in one of their boats. Thank you!

I have stayed at many places through the years and the hospitality of the owners was far above the rest. They were very friendly and always asking if you needed anything. We stayed in one of there cabins and they outside was so nicely landscaped with flowers and shrubs. Cabins its was so clean and nice. I will be stayed here again and recommending it to all my family and friends. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Phenominal people and terrific food . Can't ask for better service from a great place. Had the opportunity to take a few boats out and couldn't be happier! The lake is a beautiful spot to relax or catch some real monsters. This place has cabin rentals as well as some smaller rooms in the motel. You will not be disappointed with your leisurely stay at lakeside lodge and marina!
