La Gazelle Specialty Coffee

We ordered the honey cinnamon latte and pistachio cream latte and were blown away by the quality. The barista here is very talented - smooth coffee with amazing flavor and balance. Can’t wait to come back when we’re in town this summer.

This is a cozy little coffee shop with a great atmosphere. It’s in the heart of downtown Charles Town. The coffee is excellent and made to order. The croissants are huge and delicious! Forget the big chains and support a local business. I’ll definitely be back.

Such a lovely shop! You can tell there is a lot of love and skill behind each cup. I had a Spanish latte and my husband had a cortado- both were well balanced and had beautiful latte art. We will return!

Amazing new coffee shop in downtown Charles Town! The owner is very friendly and great at his craft. Every drink I’ve had has been perfect, the iced pistachio latte is especially good. Chill atmosphere- great place to do some work! 10/10!

Honey cinnamon latte, mocha, and red velvet latte were all delicious and not overly sugared. This place reminds me of a place in aberfoyle, Scotland. Atmosphere and scent memory for me but think this is a great spot for a very good cup of coffee. Great service and love the later hours!!!! Do go. It's awesome.

Awesome cozy spot for a coffee and pastry in a charming part of town. Both pourover and Americano were on point. Plenty of seating along the side, though I only spotted outlets next to a couple of seats by the counter. So happy we stopped here!

Love this place! It’s my go-to for when I need to study and home is too distracting. I feel like there are so many coffee shops popping up, the way microbreweries used to, like people are doing it because it’s the cool thing to do but they don’t actually know how to make good coffee. I’ve been to one too many of them where the coffee just tastes like slightly brown water with no real flavor.

But the owner, Muhammad, (forgive me if I’ve spelled it wrong, I looked up ways to spell it and this was the most common) clearly knows what he’s doing. The coffee is strong with an excellent flavor. The pastries are also delicious. Muhammad is professional but casual and friendly enough to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Some reviews have said he’s too quiet or mumbling and unhelpful. He is quiet, and it probably wouldn’t hurt for him to speak up a little bit, but I can still hear him when he speaks and he is plenty friendly, smiling and warmly greeting everyone that comes in; he simply has a quiet nature but he is not aloof or unhelpful. His unique latte flavors are delicious, definitely try the spanish latte and the pistachio cream latte, they do not disappoint. My go to is the pour over, so good! I was there in the evening and wanted to get some dinner and he was completely fine with me doordashing something and eating it there, which was so accommodating.

I absolutely recommend you stop by and if you live here, making it your regular coffee stop.

So so so good. I had their almond croissant with a vanilla latte and it was impeccable. Their hot coffee also has a natural smooth creaminess to it that makes it easy to drink black (if you so desire). Great coffee, great atmosphere, great service. Will be back!

This was our first time visiting La Gazelle and it won't be our last! They had the best chai latte out of any coffee shop in the area, and had delicious croissants. I don't regularly like coffee, but even their coffee tasted great!

Love the traditional European flare of this place. Exactly what you'd find in a French or Italian cafe setting. I purchased a Rose Latte and Apple Croissant - both were fabulous! The owner is very nice & welcoming, and clearly a master at his craft. Prices are fair, considering the wholesale costs these days!

Wonderful coffee shop experience. I’ve had two different lattes and both were great, so was the chocolate croissant. Really friendly service and cool vibe overall. Highly recommend and love the variety of hours.
