Scoop Dawg - not only a play on words but a really apt name for a shop that sells Hot Dogs and Ice Cream. Ice cream was very good, and everything was very well priced. I'd definitely come back. I recommended the banana pudding ice cream.

This place is great. They have a large selection with reasonable prices. I like that they offer the choice of hand-dipped vs soft serve ice cream. Besides all kinds of ice cream treats, they have a wide selection of customized hot dogs. Get as crazy as you'd like, they have a ton of hot dog toppings.

As far as the atmosphere, it's relaxing. The place is well maintained and clean. They support local schools which is a plus.

Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of parking is parking is available.

We love this place. My daughter loves hotdogs so she was happy and their ice cream is Hershey's which is always good. Staff is friendly and overall professional. Small place but would be good for a small party or a quick drop in. Their funnel cakes have come highly recommended as well. They do have other food options. So far everything has been good.

I've loved Scoop Dawg since the day they opened. Excellent hot dogs(1/4 pound all-beef Nathan's) and 30+ varieties of Hershey's brand hard ice cream. I'd work here if they paid me in hot dogs and ice cream! It's that good! :)

I've got ice cream several times from Scoop Dawgs & have always been impressed. Today, I got a hot dog as well and was extremely happy! Top notch place! Was not expecting the food to be so good!

Opening right on the heels of Charles Town's own local ice cream shop closing, Scoop Dawg is a great new addition to the area. Before even walking in, you know how different of a place it is based on the outside window art. Stepping in, Scoop Dawg presents itself foremost as a kid- and family-friendly business. The ice cream selection is wide with many style of frozen desserts at-hand. As for the hot dogs, each are a quarter-pound with about eight different types to choose from.

Though a slight suggestion, I actually think smaller hot dog buns may benefit everyone. With mine, it was always one bite of hot dog to one bite of bun. The bun ms now are too big.

Great ice cream and they change the flavors occasionally. Very cheap and they have gluten free options!! Very similar to Nutters and they have plenty of room to sit down inside. Love this place. Definately one of my favorites.

Enjoyed having lunch here with my daughter. We both had hotdogs and icecream for dessert. The staff here was very friendly and the place was really clean. We'll definitely go back!

Wonderful new hotdog and ice cream joint! Lots of flavors to choose from and very reasonably priced. Outstanding atmosphere for kids. Plenty of inside seating as well.

Best Ice cream around with great prices. Choose any of the Hershey Ice cream flavors, or soft serve and make it a sundae. Chocolate moose tracks is my favorite.
