Shoney's - Gatlinburg

We ate breakfast here when other places nearby were 1 and 2 hour waits.
We waited about 15 to 20 minutes.
The food, while basic, was hot and fresh.
The staff did a great job getting people in and out quickly and with a smile!
I only wish they had more healthy breakfast items. But, I also understand that most people want the basic staples they offer.
It's a small space, but the setup works. I loved the ramp vs stairs, up to the buffet with my bad knee, after walking all weekend around town.
Great job to the staff, all smiles, they cleared the tables quickly and kept things moving. Efficient, nice and friendly!

Went here for breakfast. It was fresh and delicious! Pricey at $42. We still gave the young man $14 tip for outstanding service.

Loved my experience at Shoney’s Gatlinburg; I’m a sucker for a good buffet and this certainly delivered! Becky was a fantastic server who made sure me and my group were all good to go; great spot for some good food!

Why is this a 3.7? It's a great place with welcoming staff and great food! We got the buffet style meal, and it's essentially a continental style hotel breakfast, but taken up a notch. I was most impressed with the bacon, which, for being cooked in mass, was perfectly cooked. A small army of a family came in (had to be a dozen of them), and the staff was prompt in setting up tables for them. I was very impressed with the operation of this establishment.

We came in to get away from the crowd streets. We had the hamburger very fresh and good. I had the onion rings and the my were delicious. Highly recommended. Sometimes the old but goods are the best.

We arrived late to our stay at the Regan Inn, and this place was right in front. The food was great, and our server was awesome. We didn't feel rushed to leave like we did at other places. The place was small, but clean and quiet. Nice reprieve from the road. We will definitely go back again.

Its been a while since we've been around a Shoney's. The one near us closed. This was a sentimental treat. This location currently has an abbreviated menu, but they had our favorites so we were happy. It was clear, quite and friendly. Good location on the strip. Service was friendly and fast. A good alternative to the busy big tourist trap places. Look forward to trip to town.

The breakfast food is wonderful, we made it just in time after we woke up. The buffet option is quick and easy, and the food was appetizing. Quite a small building though, not such a good atmosphere and feels rushed because of all the people that line up to get seated. Not many seats.

Shoneys Gatlinburg was a perfect breakfast stop before we headed home! The food was good and the service even better!!!

I came here with my autistic son for breakfast. The lady helping us was more than happy to put us in a small corner so it was quieter for him. I am beyond thankful that they let him eat his chips while I got the buffet.

The food itself is amazing. They have a wide array of food to choose from and all of it is hot and fresh.

Our Server was Maranda, it was just 2 adults. We had the breakfast bar.
Maranda provided us with drinks an knowledge about seating options and most importantly FOOD! She always kept our cups full. Very friendly atmosphere compared to an other places down the strip which wasn’t as friendly.

Establishment was very clean and sanitary from a guest prospective.

Haven't been to a Shoney's in a long time. This one did not disappoint. Food was delicious and the staff were great. Place was clean. We walked here from our resort and did not have to wait. Perfect quick and easy breakfast while on vacation.

The food was great, but not $40 great. I understand it's Gatlinburg, but $14 each and $4 each for drinks is too much.

Ate at Shoneys twice when in Gatlinburg. Both times we had the breakfast buffet. It was very good! Food great, restaurant clean & service was excellent. Highly recommend!

My husband & I not only received hot, delicious food off of the buffet, but also top notch customer service today by the whole friendly team!

We stopped in for a late breakfast and ate from the buffet. Decent selection of items available. We came back right before closing time and they made us a turkey club combo to go. After a long day of walking all around Gatlinburg, this was one of the best sandwiches ever.

Our waitress Jerrica was freaking the sweetest and didn't get aggravated no matter how needy we were ! The manager Lonnie was also very nice as it seemed to be just them and it was pretty busy

If you want cheap and amazing food the waiter We’re super nice.

This little tiny Shoney's is a lifesaver. We were trying to find some place to eat where we could eat fast and feed our tiny garbage disposal on the hop. Gatlinburg is lousy with restaurants but the fact that this Shoney's was right there sealed the deal.

It was not the best Shoney's food I have ever had but the service was incredible. They had one server running the floor and she was quite possibly one of the best servers I have ever had anywhere. Kind, personable, and quick. Can't remember her name for the life of me but I do remember she was gorgeous. On the thicker side with brown hair, a few tattoos, and a great smile.

If you need to feed a large group for a reasonable price in Gatlinburg this place won't disappoint. Order off of the menu and you can get an exceptionally good cheeseburger.
