Barnes Crossing Urgent Care

Heading out of town when my husband told me he’s got a bad headache and started to feel stuff and gross. Swung by urgent care to get him a quick check and some shots. In and out in 30 min. Got 2 shots and he’s already having relief (3 hours later). Doc was fantastic, nurses and staff was very helpful and communicative. If I was local I would definitely keep coming. 10/10 recommend.

We were on summer vacation and far away from home when my daughter cut her chin and needed stitches. The nurses who assisted us were amazing with her! Dr Browning was absolutely fantastic and was able to stitch her up with out any trouble and she said afterwards that he was so nice, which he was! I can’t thank these nurses and Dr enough!

As prompt as possible, caring, considerate, and professional. I trust their knowledge. I’ve been using them for many years. Dr Gipson seems pretty experienced and has a good personality. Jackie, the male nurse, is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He really cares about the patient.

Turned me away before time of not accepting patients anymore because they are too full. Very upset when people are sick. I would rate a zero or change the information on the phone.

Was seen 5 days ago for a bad productive cough. Started with alot of congestion sore throat and runny nose. The 1st doctor treated me for sinusitis.Went back yesterday still feeling so terrible and alot worse and was asked as I went back are you really worse? I had 102 fever. The 2nd doctor was not listening or really didn’t care. I told her I went through 2 bottles of DayQuil 2 bottle of NyQuil 1 box of Mucinax 1 box of Therau. She wanted to treat me with allergy medication, a decongestant and cough syrup. I said I already tried all that. She asked me what do you take for congestion!!!! I was saying I think I have pneumonia because my chest is burning and upper back pain. Didn’t even suggest X-ray. Now I was there with 102 temp for at least 45 minutes and not given anything for the fever. I was even being discharged with nothing for the fever. I had to ask for something. This provider did give me a stronger antibiotic. Wish the 1st doctor did. I might not have got worse. Praying I get better quick. I will never go back there and will definitely go to my primary doctor. Nobody ever being sick should be treated like this. Oh the 2nd provider finally order a X-ray after I kept on insisting I think I have pneumonia.

I went there a few mo back and saw Coty, NP and bc I refused a Covid test she refused to treat me. I won’t ever go back there. I’ve had Covid in the past and I knew it was negative, I don’t trust Covid tests and treatment should not have been withheld from me bc of my Covid beliefs.
