Las Lajas Mexican Store & Restaurant

Had the bistec and my son had carne asada. Great service, and the food was delicious. If only the served margaritas...

My family and I recently moved to the area from North County and decided to try Las Lajas Mexican Restaurant. We were all very pleased with our meals. My favorite was the al pastor taco, which was perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor. I also loved their corn tortillas, which were soft and flavorful and didn't fall apart.

I would love it if Las Lajas also served alcohol. A cold margarita would have been the perfect accompaniment to our meal. I'm not sure if they allow BYOB, but I'll have to ask next time.

We made a quick trip into the store to grab a container of the green sauce that stuff is great!

This is a hidden gem. The food has always been exceptional and made right. He needs a bigger restaurant!

I love the restaurant and store.

Store is great for finding any Spanish food or you cant get at regular grocery stores.

I just picked up 8lbs of sliced pork shoulder to make smoked al pastor. The Bucher slided and marinated it for me... absolutely amazing!

As for the restaurant. ALL of the tacos and tortas are absolutely amazing. Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the STL Metro.

Customer service is great too. Everyone is super friendly.

I was looking for a home made salsa and not the bottle one's and my daughter recommend me this Las Lajas Mexican store in Wentzville, and went Saturday and purchase a red and green home made salsa and the same Saturday i was out of does salsas had to come back early on Sunday morning at 9 am to get me another set of salsas..
Thank you Las Lajas. You save me from making my own salsas. I was to busy that didn't had the time to make them.
Flavor is wonderful and the container of salsa is a lot and cheap too! Coming back for more.

Try the street tacos. Chicken was my favorite! Watch out though that green sauce is super spicy!

all the tacos are amazing and I love their green sauce for the tacos, it's so spicy and amazing!!! the lime ice in the front cooler is perfect for dessert, definitely need to try them all 😁✌

The best place for authentic Mexican food in entire st.charles county. Love their tacos,tortas,gorditas and more. Everything is so fresh and delicious.

Great customer service, didn't know where to find an item found a person stocking shelves, they not only told me were it was but stopped what they were doing and walked me to the item.

The street tacos here are absolutely phenomenal and very reasonably priced.

This place may not look like big but the food is bursting with authentic Mexican food. The keep up the great service and quality food they will need a bigger place!

Great little store. They have corn husks for tamales! Will be back.

Along withe the meat department. They are starting to get more organic which is a huge plus.
