This is our new favorite go-to Mexican restaurant! Truly family owned by brothers David and Gabriel. Delicious home made salsa! Big variety of Mexican dishes. Everything we have tried is absolutely wonderful. Located in New Melle. A short drive from Wentzville (I-70 & I-64) or Hiway 94 wine country and well worth it. Friendly servers. Say "Hi" to David or Gabriel. They're usually roaming around. New outdoor patio should be ready for Cinco De Mayo.

I grew up between California and Mexico, and this is the best Mexican food in the state of Missouri!! My kids asked to come here regularly because they love how well we are treated and how quick our food comes. Everything is made fresh and is delicious!!

employees are there to please, as nice as they can be and very friendly. food was excellent. loved the salsa and the beef tacos , the best taco , i’ve have ever eaten. you won’t be disappointed. Eat local. It’s worth it, trust me.

The BEST CREW AND MEXICAN FOOD AROUND! HOME OF THE HEARTBURN FREE MARGARITA. It's a blast coming here for dinner. The staff is great and the 3 brothers that own it make you feel like family as soon as you enter the door. If you are looking for great food and a GREAT time check it out!

Fantastic food!! Great service, Jim took excellent care of us! Yummy margaritas, we had the Carnitas tacos and Maracas tacos, both were so delicious! Their salsa tomatillo was amazing! We know now why the parking lot has always been packed when we passed by, we will definitely be back!!!

Been eating here with my gfs family for awhile now. Margaritas are the best, they really make ‘em stronger than any place you’ve been to in the st Charles area. And the food is great. Staff treats you like family. Great place and hope it never goes away

Great Mexican food. The Hawiian burrito, (steak, bacon and pineapple), was unique and tasted great.
My wife enjoys their tacos w the fresh fried shells.

Hispanics Taking Over New Melle, Missouri! What do two Floridians and a Californian know about Mexican food?

Three of us were driving in the countryside of Missouri recently and came upon this Mexican restaurant. Our first thought was - RIGHT!!!!??? This should be interesting.

As we entered the door, I felt like I was back in Nicaragua 🇳🇮. Sitting at a large table was a group of Hispanic workers and friends. All were local residents. What the $%&*!

I was already starting to trust the place. Then the owner came up wearing a Mexico Fotbal club jersey, and I could hear the sizzle of fajitas in the kitchen.

The food was good, the service excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed.

If I can find it again, I'll enjoy it again!

Food is awesome. Vastly superior to the other “St. Louis Mexican food”. What’s even better is the service. Super friendly. Super efficient. Other restaurant managers should come have a meal and a lesson in how a restaurant should operate. Every staff member is always helping each other. I have never seen such a happy staff turn so many tables during a mad dinner rush with smiles on all their faces and all of them appear to be hardly working. Impressive for sure.

Very authentic Mexican food, especially in Missouri. A great restaurant and a great local place that is not a chain. I highly recommend them even if it's a drive.

I had them provide the good for a bridal shower and everyone commented on how good it was. Definitely a hit! Highly recommend them for wonderful food. Someone even called after they left to get the name.

A must try! Food is great, atmosphere upbeat, tv' s for sports fans, margaritas pack a punch! So many great choices on the menu. Price is average. Friendly fun place, family friendly.

We've ordered out several times and the food has always been great. We recently went inside to eat and discovered the service is wonderful too. The kids love their tacos and I'm a fan of the carnitas and the fajitas. I also like their margaritas.

Great food, great people, great price. I would pick this up for my family during Covid, and it was a breeze. They made it easy to order and pick it up. The food is amazing, and I picked some up on Mothers Day and the guy asked if it was for my mom. I said yes, and he called me a good man and told me to wish her a happy mothers day. I love when people are nice like that, and it really made my day.

The first time I've been here, food was priced good, food Great, and the Margaritas were very tasty. The best part was the service, they were packed, and everyone was still nice. I'll definitely stop by the next time I'm in town.

Absolutely LOVE their food! My old man is obsessed with Mexican Food Dude so I have definitely had my fair share all over the US! In my opinion Maracas is up there in the top 5! EXTREMELY FRESH for being in such a small town! Keep it up Maracas, you're doing great!
