CMG Leasing Radford

Since before my family and I moved into our home in August 2023, CMG has been nothing but accommodating, professional, kind and attentive. They answered all my questions in a timely and thoughtful manner, and after I moved in their dedication stayed the same. Any time I have an issue or maintenance request, they respond immediately and then follow up to make sure everything is still working ok. The maintenance team is AMAZING! Randy, James and Brian are incredibly skilled and hard working. They always go above and beyond to ensure everything is in top-notch condition. Their dedication and attention to detail truly make a positive difference when there is an issue that needs attention.
So far, I’d recommend CMG to anyone looking to rent in Radford!

Price is great for the area. Utilities and internet being through CMG instead of through the city of Radford is a huge plus, and everyone who works in the office is incredibly kind and understanding, namely Hannah who I spoke with often.

I lived on Davis St. for a year and highly recommend the location. The apartment I stayed in was beautiful, and Amanda and her team were efficient in resolving any issues, most of which were unexpected and unforeseen. While some reviews mention bug problems, I didn't find it to be a significant issue. I took steps to bug-proof the apartment and avoided opening the door to wooded areas, which seemed to solve the problem.

However, there are two areas where I believe improvements could be made: waste management and on-site laundry facilities. The waste bin was open-topped and tended to smell at times; a recycling bin would also be a welcome addition. As for the laundry facility, it operates using quarters. A Bluetooth-enabled system would be far more convenient, in my opinion. Additionally, the facility could benefit from more frequent maintenance.

Amanda is an excellent communicator and manager, consistently constructive and solution-oriented. If you're a responsible and attentive tenant who documents everything and maintains the apartment well, I'm confident you'll have a pleasant experience. I appreciate the quality of service they provide.

James Hefley was able to quickly fix multiple leaks in our house. He was very professional and clearly knew what he was doing.

Started leasing through CMG since 2017 in Radford until now. Whenever I've had an issue or needed anything they were always there to help. Constant events throughout the year, free snacks, and always there tk listen is just some of what comes with it. I've thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them all! Special shoutout to Amanda whose been there the whole time, absolutely lovely employee! Shoutout to Anna, and Hannah as well, who always were attentive and responsive to all needs. They watched me grow from a boy into a man. Stay awesome, and I will greatly miss you all!

We have been living at a CMG apartment since August 2019 and we re-signed a lease to stay with them until July 2021! As a graduate student at Radford University, it was important to me to choose somewhere close to the university and affordable. I got more than those two requirements with CMG. Ever since I moved in, although my apartment wasn't perfect in every way, any request I have ever made has been met quickly. They have fixed anything I have asked and they have made me a very satisfied customer. The maintenance staff have always been respectful and kind. I have not had a bad interaction with the office staff or maintenance staff, which I cannot say about everywhere I have lived. Also, I really appreciate that they offer coffee and the snack bar! Unfortunately, during the pandemic, they closed those options temporarily. However I am so thankful that in the meantime, they set out a table with plenty of snacks and drinks for their residents. They also offered Mother's Day cards too! While I was working so hard on final exams, I was really thankful they offered their residents Mother's day cards because I have had no time to get that myself, and in this crazy pandemic I would rather avoid stores anyway! CMG clearly cares about their residents. In each season change (without a weird pandemic in the way), they have offered events with games and delicious food from the Country Kitchen nearby! I am happy I decided to live at a CMG leasing apartment, they have more spirit than other leasing companies nearby! (:

Leasing with CMG has been an amazing experience. They are super friendly and respond to issues in a timely manner. My roommates and I have had a stress-free time communicating with them and making sure our living environment is the best it can be. We already resigned with them for next year as well and I look forward to continue residing with such an amazing leasing company.

There are 2 things that make this location better than other apartments: Emily and the maintenance team. Maintenence always fixed problems in a very timely fashion and they'd always say hi/ give my dog some good pets. Emily is fantastic. She learns everyone's name and has a genuine interest in your well-being. She always made me feel welcome in the leasing office and she's one of the reasons I was sad to move. She's the absolute best. She's attentive to details and responds quickly to emails.

There is a dire scarcity of good reviews in general, let alone mixed reviews which can be very confusing for new out-of-state residents looking to lease a place in Radford. CMG Leasing and its team requires a special mention so that hopefully, people don't develop an opinion based only on the bad reviews and become aware that CMG Leasing is awesome!

I am a new faculty at Radford University starting in Fall 2021. I started looking for rentals in Radford mid-April, for a July move-in and when most were either already leased for the next year or failed to provide polite responses, I came across CMG Leasing and they picked up my call at the first ring on a Saturday! Initially, I was skeptical about CMG as there were some very bad Google reviews as recent as 2-4 months, but I took my chances and at some point, hoped to ask for clarification on those. Leasing consultant Ann Bernal greeted me with a "It's a really nice day at Radford, how may I help you?" and that was enough to begin to put my faith into CMG! Annie was extremely patient with me while I asked every little detail about the apartment I was potentially moving into! By the time my lease finalized, I think I had pestered Shannon, Annie and the site manager Amanda with incessant emails and phone calls to confirm and re-confirm the apartment specifications. Never once did I hear a hesitation or a tired voice, but always a nice greeting, and email responses were super prompt given the rush they might be facing at the beginning of semester. So much so that when confronted about the unpleasant Google reviews, Amanda was utmost transparent about them and explained in detail why someone might have posted a bad review. At that point, I wholeheartedly put my faith into CMG without second thoughts!

Only through phone calls and emails, I have found every one at CMG Leasing immensely professional, polite, and eager to make your move-in as comfortable as possible. I was very anxious about relocating from Indiana to Radford, but every time I talk to Amanda, she makes it sound so easy and welcoming. I can't wait to meet Amanda, Shannon, and Annie in-person and move into my 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment at Scott's Run apartments. If you want to feel cared for as a future resident, CMG Leasing is the place to lease in Radford! Go check them out!

We rented through CMG Leasing in Blacksburg for five years and it was a positive experience all the way around. We chose CMG in Radford because we felt good about the company. Emily Clemente was our leasing agent in Radford and she was a gem. She was patient and friendly, as I had a lot of questions! She was very knowledgeable about the area and the apartment complex, and really helped us through the leasing process.

I've lived with CMG for half a year now, and my roommates and I just renewed our lease. CMG is THE BEST leasing company in Radford, hands down. Daryl and Amanda are so amazing to interact with. They're always friendly and know my name when I come into the office, they take care of issues efficiently and properly. Plus, they always have coffee and snacks. LEASE WITH CMG!! :)

CMG was my first apartment experience here in Radford while pursuing my undergraduate degree, and I would defiantly lease through them again. The office staff was always extremely friendly and eager to help with whatever need be. My roommates and I experienced a couple hiccups along the way while leasing with them, but that is to be expected anywhere. I highly recommend giving them a look if you are considering apartment life here in Radford!

Transitioning into my first apartment was a breeze with CMG. They take time to help you understand your lease and everything else involved with renting an apartment. The rates are fair and the maintenance staff is quick to fix any problems you run in to. 10/10 would recommend.

I moved into the Davis-Wilson apartments in August and I have absolutely loved living here. The apartment is wonderful. The staff in the leasing office is always attentive, friendly, and helpful. Every time I have called maintainance they have quickly came to fix my problems and answered any questions I have. I have already renewed my lease for the next year and always recommend CMG to my friends when they are looking for apartments.

Leasing with CMG is one of the best decisions I have ever made. They are so kind and helpful and will take the time to sit and explain anything to you! Their maintenance team is on top things and responds super quickly! They were so patient with me and all of my questions when first moving in and made me so comfortable and confident in my decision! I will always recommend CMG!!

I had a GREAT experience with CMG today. I went in to find out some more information, got everything I needed to know, and was even able to go tour one on the spot. They were a huge help with explaining everything, filling out the application, and even facetimed with my mom to explain some things to her. It seems they truly cared about me getting everything I needed to know and helping me with the application process. I can't wait to move in here and see what the next year has to bring with my new leasing office!

I love CMG at Radford! Time and time again, the staff has gone out of their way to be accessible, friendly, and compassionate. I have never had a bad experience with CMG and am so glad that I was able to sign with them. If you're on the fence about where to live, go and talk to the staff. (Typically, on review sites, you get the best and the worst reviews that are out there).
*CMG is very disability friendly and does their best to accommodate a tenant with a disability.

CMG has been amazing to us! The staff is super friendly and easy to work with. Work orders are completed in a VERY timely manner. The apartments are very nice and rent is very reasonable. I would suggest CMG to anyone! They are great!

Most days I go in to CMG for a snack and a drink. Darryl is always there with a bright smile to make my day a little better. CMG is always quick to take care of any problems that occur in our apartment. Yesterday we put in a maintenance request to fix the garbage disposal in the sink and they were here within two hours and fixed it in about 5 minutes. I believe that CMG truly cares about their residents.

I go into CMG almost every morning, and Darryl is there with a smile and an amazing attitude, ready to greet my friends and I. Once, one of my roommates spilled coffee in the lounge of the CMG building, and he just said "No worries, it's easy to clean" and grabbed a towel and cleaned it. He never complains, never frowns, and always has a "can-do" attitude! Renewed my least because of Darryl. I recommend you do what you have to do to keep him around. Great job, Darryl!
