Two Maine Guys Augusta

Ordered 30 minutes ahead and brought it home to eat. Well worth it for the amount of food you get and the quality of it. Love buying from local businesses and avoiding the chain restaurants-definitely like to spend my money with local, tasty spots! Fries are so delicious & love the chicken bacon ranch salad!!!

I recently visited "Two Maine Guys," and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, complementing the perfectly spiced hand cut fries. The strawberry milkshake was rich, creamy, and bursting with strawberry goodness. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Although the space is limited with not many tables, it only adds to the charm of this simple, unpretentious spot. If you're looking for fancy, look elsewhere. But for delicious, hearty food served with a smile, Two Maine Guys is a gem. A solid 5-star experience!

Great food, and the employees are awesome. Especially Lisa, lol— she made some recommendations for me, then brought me a sample of their fantastic mac n' cheese. I'm visiting from NY and wanted to experience typical local fare and they took care of me.

Hubby and I went here for lunch. He got the chicken bacon ranch Mac n cheese, I got the Cajun chicken Mac, we both got a shake and split a poutine. The portions were huge, like we both have enough food for lunch tomorrow and everything was delicious. Somehow, there was a mix up with our order and another customer got our buzzer, which we didn't even notice so to apologize for the wait (which wasn't even long) they upgraded our shakes to larges (from smalls) we literally didn't even notice anything had happened, but they insisted. My only complaint, was that it was very cold inside so just make sure you bring a jacket haha

Came for the fresh cut fries, which were fantastic; going back for more fish with homemade tartar sauce. I don’t know what’s in it, but it’s delicious. I’m a tartar sauce snob and usually skip other restaurants’ sad versions, but you’ll want extra of this stuff to dip your fries in! Magical! (Fried pickles were great, too.) Thanks, Two Maine Guys!

2 Maine Guys was such a surprise experience. First night I had their fried pickles and poutine burger. Best burger I’ve had in a long time while traveling for work. The fries were crisp to perfection and seasoned so well, I’ve never had ones like it before. And the pickle chips were excellent. The ladies working were so nice. 2nd night I had the fried chicken with bacon and Mac and cheese sandwich. That sandwich blew me away, the photo does not do the size of the chicken justice . I Also enjoyed their happy hour, can’t beat $2 PBRs. Hands down best food in town!!

Absolutely amazing food and the person who took our order was so sweet and patient with it being our first time in!! We just moved from Southern California and though the culinary scene isn't as diverse as we hoped we were relieved to find a gem in the rough. As someone who's new to the area we were so excited to find a place that not only is delicious but serves great portions for great prices, a true college student meal plan blessing!!!

Best burger ever and the most life-changingly amazing fish tacos I ever had. Nate (No Recipe) is killing it with the specials he creates and his hot sauce is without rival. You cannot go wrong at Two Maine Guys. Go! Go now!

Delicious food! The building was a little chilly though for dining in. The pulled pork Mac was a large serving and amazing, the haddock sandwich and chicken poppers were stellar too. Can't wait to come back and try more!

We got fried pickles, a crispy chicken sandwich and the TMG crazy haddock sandwich. All were fantastic! Hot and crispy when we got them and really big portions. Definitely will come back. Of note, the style is order and pickup at the counter rather than order at the table. It wasn’t at all an issue for me, but if you are looking for more formal seating this may not be the place for you. (Your loss though, totally worth it!) There are several tables and seating for maybe 20 total inside.

We recently had my father in laws 75th birthday party at Two Maine Guys Augusta. We had 16 in our party. We arrived at 6 PM sat in the outdoor seating on a warm night. The food so fresh and hot. They had a great selection of can beers and drinks. Everyone was very happy with the food, service, selection and promptness of our orders. We all had a great time.

This was my second visit here. First time thought the food and service were very good and recommended the place to friends. This time food was just okay--everything we ordered was overloaded with some sort of spicy seasoning. Music was so loud you could not converse, could barely think. Will not return.

Tried multiple items here and loved every single one of them. Even got some delicious garlic bread I wasn't expecting!

We loved all of our food! We ordered the steak & cheese sandwich, onion rings, coleslaw, and the steak & cheese macaroni & cheese. Highly recommend the coleslaw & we’re very fussy when it comes to coleslaw!! We just wish we traveled to Augusta area more often. This will definitely be our go to spot when we do for now on!

Food is always on point You will not be disappointed a little pricey but this is 2024 what do you expect?! EXCELLENT PULLED PORK MAC AND CHEESE AS POSTED

I’ve had dreams about the mac and cheese every night since I had it. The staff is super friendly and it’s nice and clean:)

My wife and I are on vacation and had one night in Augusta before going to Bangor. We decided on Two Maine Guys for dinner, and I’m so glad we did. The chicken sand which I had was seriously a 10/10. It had ranch, bacon, and mac and cheese but it was the chicken that made it so great. The breading was a perfect balance of crispy but not overly breaded. The fries were fantastic. We don’t live here in the northeast but if I did, I’d easily come back and try other items on the menu. I’d highly recommend checking it out.

This place is smaller, but it's AWESOME!! The food is on point for days!! Service was nice and we didn't really have to wait that long. Hands down, best burrito joint in Augusta!!!
