Really sweet and tasty ice cream! I chose black raspberry and strawberry on a waffle cone and it was delicious! The inside is really nice and the theme matches it’s name. The staff is really nice as-well. Really good first experience!

Pops Old Fashioned Ice Cream shop in Old Town was precious!! Such a fun little ice cream shop on the street to the waterfront. It’s a beautiful area of town & such a fun place to stroll. We tried a couple of flavors & they were delicious!! Visit soon if you are in the area!!

Everyone comes to see TJ. Coolest dude around. He exudes smooth. If he had a personal soundtrack, it would be Smooth Operator by Sade. The ice cream is kept solid merely by force of his chill. He scoops like nobody else. And the ice cream is just as smooth. 10/10. Go confidently into the night, good ice cream eaters. Ice cream DJ, TJ has blessed you.

A wonderful place to have your private event at. They have wonderful staff and excellent choices for ice cream. I did a magic show here and the place was packed with kids adults. Plenty of space to work in. They also provide a face painter. I truly enjoyed my time at Pop's Old Fashion Ice Cream Co.

Pops has the best ice cream of any shop in the area! I've tried them all. I go every Sunday evening for my signature sundae. My guy Thurman is THE BEST! Can't nobody make a sundae better. My boy that works with him on Sundays is cool too. Their flavors, toppings, atmosphere, efficiency -- ALL TOP NOTCH! They know how to shorten a line too. Amazing Ice Cream, very thick and full of flavor. Good old fashion Ice Cream, that doesn’t turn in to a syrupy mess. Good price and great service with hug portions! Best Ice Cream we have had inside the beltway!

So many flavors. I chose Chocolate and Pistachio today. It just doesn't make sense to get one scoop when a second is only $1 more. Creamy and delicious ice cream. Three scoops are even more of a bargain.

Gem of a place in old town Alexandria. This place was on our list to try while visiting the historic old town of Alexandria, the flavors are great and the ice cream was quality, we tried kahlua chocolate chip and loved every bit of it. I recommend this place to all ice cream lovers, a must visit.

Excellent ice cream. Super rich and creamy. The peanut butter pretzel base in particular stood out as uniquely delicious if you like salted flavors. Adorable vibe as well! Highly recommend.

Ice cream here is so creamy and delicious. You really get a feel of an old school ice cream parlor here. Prices are reasonable and everything here is so yummy. Located 2 blocks from the water this is a great place to grab some ice cream then enjoy old town.

I'm a out of towner. I love ice cream and love to go to new places. I'm giving this 5 stars!! TJ the manager was the nicest guy with the best costumer service ever! I can't say enough about how good the ice cream was! If you're looking for good ice cream pop's is it!!

Their ice cream is so good! It was difficult to make a decision. I got the butter pecan and praline. I like their seasonal flavors. They were not busy when we came, so the staff was kind and let us taste a few different flavors.

Service is super quick and I believe the tax is already included in the price. 2 cones for $10 even. Wideeeeee variety and they even had an Italian ice flavor of the day. I opted for the butter pecan and it was spot on.

pops is my favorite ice cream place in old town! the flavors are fairly classic but so delicious. the prices are pretty cheap and the servings pretty large. while pops ice cream scoops are amazing, i go for the sundaes. they have many different sundae options, some classic and some more unique. i’ve tried the campfire (s’mores), the johnny appleseed (apple pie with caramel), and the old towner (pecan pie with chocolate and caramel). my ride or die is the old towner, followed by the campfire. the johnny appleseed is also great, but the old towner is just flawless. pops is a great place to end your night by the water, or just to enjoy a amazing sundae or ice cream scoop.

Wow this is like the best ice cream I have ever had!! Definitely recommend this is anyone passing through town or lives here. It’s a cute original ice cream shop. Fast and friendly. With a lot of choices!!! Definitely homemade!!!! ❤❤❤

Love this place! Simple, respectable business that makes all their own ice cream that is absolutely insane. Was not expecting for it to be that good! The beautiful old-fashioned vibe is always an unbeatable classic, especially at this joint! Zero complaints, I’m only sad that I couldn’t come back for more.

I visited Pop's on my birthday; I was not in a cake mood and really wanted ice cream. My family and I were visiting for the weekend and chose Pop's after dinner. We all enjoyed our ice cream. We didn't wait long in line and the prices were fair. I ordered The Brown Dog sundae and it was soo good. I couldn't even finish it, great portions.
