Best latte in Newark! I look forward to going here everyday. Calm, relaxing atmosphere and really friendly staff!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops ever. I definitely don’t miss the crowds in Manhattan. This place is super chill, the staff is very friendly and fast at making food and drinks. On top of that, they support local artists as they showcase their talents all over their walls, as well as advertising some of their products. I love coming here during the weekends after the gym

Great coffee and tea! Perfect staff: they all care deeply about their craft, and they want you to enjoy it as much as they do.

And apparently it’s a climbing gym too! It’s a bizarre place, and I love it.

There are books and games around, and some cool seating.

Their cold brew is our to-go drink here, but latte is also good. Lots of other drink and food options, including tea and smoothies.

There are a lot of tables inside, as well as some seating by the window.

Pretty quiet in the morning, 2 bathrooms, and nice baristas.

They have a paper clipping loyalty card.

I enjoy this cozy little spot with soft music playing in the background! The ambiance is perfect for remote work, studying 📚 📝 and having a tasty bite to eat/drink! And I was so excited that they have vegan options!!! I got the avocado sandwich, the oatmeal, and Maringa tea with oat milk!! The staff are polite and inviting 🤗

After a certain amount of visits on the punch card, you're given a free drink 💛

Another pro about this cafe is that If you spend at least six dollars, they will validate your parking garage next door🤩

Easily one of the best coffee places in Downtown Newark. Victor and his team know how to pull a proper espresso! I also recommend the açaí bowls and macarons. Great, airy space with seating in the front (by the windows) and in the back. Afterwards, go downstairs for a quick climb!

For anyone who’s lost, this place is to the right of the UPS, under the Walker House. Keep walking toward the end of the street.

great coffee shop/climbing store/gym. Great espresso drinks. Had a latte and a cortado. Both fantastic.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Stephanie has been especially friendly and was very helpful by offering me different drinks that I would like when I couldn’t come to a decision. She took initiative and had a very organic enthusiasm that is sorely needed in todays society. Love this cafe I stop here every time I come to the neighborhood !

This cafe is great! The best hours in all of Newark with a lot of space to sit and work / relax / chit chat or whatever else you may fancy. Fantastic coffee and great food (freshly made sandwiches).

They also organize a lot of different community events like D&D, chess, etc. A definite must!

Stop here about once a week for a cortado and some grub. Very cool place. Lots of space. Friendly staff. Great espresso. If you're in the area, I would definitely stop in.

THEIR COFFEE IS THE BEST. PERIOD. Always fresh coffee from different origins. I love the Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, honestly any of them. Also their cappuccino is fire. I ordered a cap with almond milk and some cinammon and half a pump of mocha and was just perfect for the fall. Just go and have a blast. Support this business because they care about coffee and people.

Love the gym and love the cafe. They truly focus on community at Method and Method Cafe and their amazing events that lets climbers and non-climbers connect with each is an incredible experience. From holding Dungeons and Dragons sessions to Open Mic Nights, I look forward to having a good time with coffee at the cafe as much as I look forward to climbing in their gym!

Recommendation: Iced blue delta with an order of their Açaí bowl.

The cafe is such a nice atmosphere for drinking something hot and munching on macarons, and the staff is always super friendly. One of my favorite things about climbing at the gym downstairs is passing back through the cafe on my way out for parking validation, a latte (they carry good coffee, *and* tea!), and a snack; it’s a really nice way to wind down after climbing or working out.
Also, Victor makes the best (and most consistent) London fog latte that I’ve been able to find in the area.

I love the atmosphere here. It has good music, a lot of natural light, cool people, and a lot of beautiful plants. I do not even drink coffee, but I hear it’s amazing. So, imagine my love for this place IF I did drink coffee. It is a great place to hang out and play board games (chess, mancala, etc.), read books (they have some amazing books here too – philosophy, history, and business), do work, or go on a coffee/lunch date. I sometimes do work in here for HOURS until I get hungry, and then I order a smoothie.
Also, they hold events like open chess and open mic nights. I just started playing chess every Saturday here. I have never really played chess before, but everyone was welcoming and accommodating of my beginner status. Some people that come here also climb in the gym downstairs (go the doors on the left to the golden elevators!). DO NOT THINK that you if you are not a “climber” or member at the gym that you will be excluded. Yes, the café and the climbing gym do go together, but it’s ultimately just a group of cool human beings. Everyone, including the staff, are super nice and easy to talk to.

Been coming for the past 6 months now. The atmosphere is great, love the events, and the drinks are fantastic. I get hibiscus and it’s always fantastic. On wednesdays we do D&D there. The energy is very positive and I look forward to going here.

I honestly couldn't say enough about how great the cafe (and attached gym, community) is at Method. The drinks are second to none, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Importantly, the events arranged and hosted by Method are amazing - including regular meetups like Chess and D&D, and roughly monthly open mics and karaoke.

I really enjoyed my experience I had at Method Cafe!! Spacious seating area with cozy vibes and super clean environment. Staff is friendly and coffee is delicious! This is my new favorite cafe to come to!!

They've got hot oatmeal for breakfast, wide selection of loose leaf teas (blueberry white peony is amaziing), pastries are great. The everything croissants are the best. They even have decent snack options for on the go. The events are nicely organized!

Not only is this a great cafe with great coffee, an amazing selection of tea, and some killer homemade sandwiches, but its a mecca for so many events, from open mic nights, to Dungeons & Dragons meetups, and more! Method is bringing life to Downtown Newark!
