Jeter Mountain Cottage

Jeter Mountain Cottage is a true gem. We loved our time in this cozy, clean, comfortable mountain cottage. The kitchen is well-stocked and a great space to cook. The fire place inside is very cozy and we (and our dog) loved watching the birds in the yard from the big bay window. The beds are also very comfortable and there is ample closet space to store suitcases. This spot is located in between Asheville and Brevard, so it’s easy to get the the Pisgah hike or to the city to shop. We will definitely be back to this wonderful mountain cottage!

Jeter Mountain Cottage is a true gem. Seemingly isolated but convenient to so much. A comfortable, well-appointed little oasis tucked in between Hendersonville and Brevard. Simply watching the birds coming to the feeders while relaxing on the porch is worth the visit. The Little River waterfalls at Dupont State Forest are not to be missed. Teddy loved patroling the fenced in yard. We'll go back again without a doubt.

Beautiful cottage convenient to miles of hiking trails and trout fishing. Clean and simple in a quiet setting with well maintained bird feeders. We enjoyed a winter weekend here and would recommend for a weekend getaway, especially for hikers, trout anglers, birders and lovers of Appalachia.

Great place to stay that is out of the way and quiet but centrally located to just about all of the attractions that are to be seen in this area. My wife and I stayed there for a wedding that was held at Jeter Mountain Farm. This location couldn't have been any more convenient. You could actually walk there if you wanted to. Waterfalls, cool mountain roads to meander through and roadside attractions such as local stands selling fresh fruit and vegies were nice as well. Downtown Hendersonville, just a short drive away, is a nice town to walk around and check out shops and restaurants. These are just some of the things we were able to enjoy in our short stay. Given more time I sure there is a lot else to discover. Finally, after a long morning or afternoon, you can always look forward to going back to a very nice, well appointed, cottage and relax. Very well equipped and comfortable for a night in for dinner and a spacious yard to enjoy a campfire and/or grilling out. Go find out for yourself...you won't be disappointed!

Clean well kept house. Well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Love all the garden details and birds galore! A real mountain gem. Will be back.
